Good morning!
We are up and out of the house. It’s G’s 3rd birthday so we are going out for breakfast!
After breakfast we have to grab a few things from the grocery store then it’s home to clean and bake.

Usually my kids are just early risers, but don’t generally wake in the middle of the night (well they suxked at sleeping as babies). So our sitter cancelled yesterday and is coming today instead. We went to the children's museum. DS2 rolled back to front for the first time this morning.

Hi everyone! Sounds like a good amount of fun packed in for all.
Today’s my 30th birthday! Yesterday I had a garage sale and made $360 bucks & went out to a winery plus dinner with my friend. So much fun.
Tonight my moms coming to put the kids to bed so H and I can celebrate. (He turns 30 in two days, too.) It will be our first dinner out since T has been born. I can’t wait. 😊

I was having a good weekend until yesterday afternoon then it turned shitty really quick. Lon story short while at my cousins 7th birthday party my 95 year old great grandpa collapsed and h with his ems training had to do cpr until other medics arrived but he didn’t make it. I’m devastated and worried about H since he wouldn’t let me help him.

I went to my cousins shower! I was going to take O but my hub insisted it would be best to leave her. I was gone 3.5 hours. She took 2oz in that time (I had left some fresh milk). Her first bottle!! So I feel better.
I also got to dress like a lady and I felt pretty good about it despite not being thrilled with my appearance. But I took some "before" pics today and I'm going to try really hard to double down and get some of these pounds off.
I am THIS close to an A in my finance class. I basically have to get full marks on both papers due this weekend. I feel pretty good about the one I submitted yesterday so it's just the big one to finish that's 15% off my grade due at midnight. 😳 but I'm good with papers. So I'm hoping that's my saving grace!!
I am going back to work in 3 weeks! Eeeep. I'm glad I extended it otherwise I'd be going back in a week which I am definitely not ready for.

I gave J his bedtime bottle and he fell asleep in my arms after the bottle. I tried transferring him to the crib but as soon as I set him in the crib, his eyes popped wide open.
I decided to just walk out of the room since he wasn't crying. I would have bet money that he would eventually start crying and I would need to either put a pacifier in his mouth or rock him to sleep. YOU GUYS..HE NEVER CRIED AND ENDED UP FALLING ASLEEP ON HIS OWN! This is huge. and probably a fluke.

Well tomorrow is my first day back to work!! Pretty fitting, seeing how this week is nurses week  I hope my patients are nice to me tomorrow. I’m working 3-11 so TECHNICALLY it should be easier than 7-3. Fx that stays true for me tomorrow. It’s been almost 6 months since the last time i worked 😬 I hope I remember how to be a nurse haha. |

And then O started bawling
so I sat frantically typing while nursing her in my lap

I was most of the way done anyway. GAHHHHHHHHH this is why I need my H to stay UP with me on the nights I have to stay up. but he went to sleep tonight. and sure as shit I fell asleep while working on my paper. gahhhhhhhhhhhh
ok sorry. but fuck. I hope that doesnt bite me. and if not.. well.. a B isn't bad. But I am SO CLOSE to an A, and my teacher knows it. I have 200 points for the class left to be graded. I can miss about 11 points between my two papers (1 worth 50, but I think I nailed that one, and 1 worth 150, that I just handed in) and get an A. (I have 711/800 points right now).
please pretty please cross all your fingers for me. I usually kill papers out of the park so I didn't think I would have any issues assuming I submitted the damn thing on time!

So I woke up to an email from my teacher. She won't mark it as late!
And of course bc I was up writing my paper, Liv didn't want to sleep last night.

It was so fun rebeccabunch, thank you for asking! We got to have so many (too many!) good drinks, sit out on patios because the weather was great, and ordered breakfast in bed. I did miss a pumping session because of the too many drinks we had- oops! I woke up with sore boobs but it seems like my supply was still good yesterday and so far today so I think things will be fine. Glad your paper wasn't marked late sunfrogger!!! |
