We have an out of town wedding on Sunday that DH and DD1 are in so we are heading down after gymnastics tomorrow morning. Hopefully both kids cooperate. DD2 is feeing a lot better and slept for 6 hours last night! I really hope this continues but I know better to get my hopes up. Finally took her 4mo picture this morning over a week late. Second kid problems I guess  |

I'm very excited that we are now into food truck weather. Tonights diner will be grilled cheese and donuts at food truck fridays.
This weekend DS has taekwondo, swimming,and skating. It is also FIL birthday dinner on Sunday at my SIL house. DH leaves early Monday morning for a work trip, so i need to make sure that i get organized this weekend for the week ahead.

J is miserable and I ended up taking him to the doctor this morning. He has a cough and is congested. He also has been having a lot more poops than normal and now has a horrible diaper rash. His bum is so raw. He isn’t sleeping well and is very fussy. He was up at least every hour last night. His lungs are clear and no ear infection. What he has is viral and needs to run its course. Unfortunately, that means he will probably be miserable for a while  His diaper rash is caused by all the poop from the viral gunk. Lots of poop.We are going to try to a new diaper rash cream and hope it helps better than what we are using. Poor guy. |

No exciting plans here and I'm 100% okay with that after three weekends of inlaws and the baptism last week. DH has some church stuff tonight and tomorrow morning so I'll have Faith by myself. We may go out to dinner tomorrow evening and then I have some church stuff on Sunday morning and DH will be responsible for getting Faith to church all by himself. I'll have everything laid out for him so it won't be too bad. And he is really good with her, especially with all the hands on practice he is getting during the day while I'm working. DH is having a second interview today. If he gets the job he will have a 1 hour commute until later this summer when they move offices to downtown (about 15-20 minute commute). That would suck majorly and if he gets an offer he is going to try to negotiate working from home on Fridays or working longer days M-Th to have Friday off. Anything to lessen his time on the road until the new office opens. yellow711, I hope J feels better soon! |

Hi! We decided to hit our local zoo today. DD1 had a blast feeding the giraffes. DD2 slept in the Lille basically the whole time which was super fab.  |

Tonight DS has an event at school so we’re going to that as long as the weather doesn’t turn too bad.
We have a birthday party tomorrow but I’m debating if we should go because as of Wednesday they had the stomach bug in their house. DS1 also has swim lessons and h has to work unexpectedly. The money will be nice but I had plans that now need to shift.

DD1 doesn’t have school and has a friend over. Which would be fine if I didn’t have three other kids. DD2 won’t leave them alone and now 3 and 4 are napping and I just want everyone to go away. 😜
My house is such a mess and I just don’t even know where to start. I want to crawl in a hole and sleep until it all magically cleans itself. Except we have plans all weekend, my kids would destroy it anyway, and such a fairy doesn’t exist.

I’m currently sitting outside with DD1 who had no nap. Being outside is the only thing that makes her tolerable when she hasn’t napped. Dd2 is taking an epic nap. Poor kid is teething hard and has been not happy. I gave her some teething tabs in hopes to help her. So far so good!

amesie if they would just pick up after themselves it would be infinitely less irritating. Lol. But I can’t relax with a messy house. My kids however don’t give a shit. Just trying to tell myself I only have 2.5 years before they will all be in school at least part time. I just have to survive 2.5 years. So I try to ignore the mess and just do stuff with the kids. But omg the mess. 😂 And why do they all want to eat multiple times a day?? 😂😂

2 is definitely more than enough for me too. And my house is still messy alll the time even after multiple cleaning attempts throughout the day. DH is off today so we’re just having a lazy day at home. Got my workout done early this morning so glad that’s out of the way. Somehow I’ve managed to lose 5 pounds this week and I even had two beers last night. Cheers to that. Also we put Maddox in the exerciser..... he hated it 😉  |

H is taking DS1 to a baseball game tonight so I got some fun art projects for DS2 and I for tonight.
Well, he was so poorly behaved today after preschool he lost his art project privileges! He would not eat his lunch, not listen, blah blah blah we’ve all dealt with it. I told him if you do not do x,y,z you won’t get to play with the new paint spinner. He didn’t listen and now I have to follow through. I’m bummed! To top it off he was such a mess for nap time I doubled down and said no tv if you don’t stop yelling and he kept yelling so jokes on me tonight...

Anniversary of my BFP today! I remember it well. I was teaching parenting at the university that semester and it was the day of our final. Things just seemed off so I tested. I SO wanted to tell some of my favorite students but hadn't told anyone except DH so I didn't.

I am trying to put the baby down so i can make guacamole and chill with H but that’s not going so well. You’d think he’d pass out after screaming in the car for almost an hour. I am hungry, go to sleep child!
