breastfeeding is such a pain in the ass. Ftfy Good luck finding dresses! I'm not brave enough to try anything on just yet. Too depressing! Breastfeeding is so convenient...yet also so inconvenient.

I’m sorry I’m mostly just reading and LTing - every time I start a reply, I get cut off partway through. Thanks, newborn and toddler. I’ve been stress online-shopping and I need to be cut off. But I’m really excited about my first Tula that’s hopefully coming this week! DS2 is chunking up like crazy and I think I’ll want something with a little more structure and support than my ring sling soon. leatherpants Hang in there. This stage is no joke, and I’ve had to set the baby down and put the toddler in time-out for a sanity break too. You’re a wonderful mom, and it’ll get better. tinyjoys Yay!! I hope everything goes smoothly, keep us posted!

yesterday was an absolute shitshow. the toddlers cough can fro. she’s coughed so hard that she’s thrown up twice now (once in crib during witching hour for dd2). i basically sat on the couch all day and cried holding the fussy baby while dd1 zoned out on the tv and coughed. it has to be better today right? my aunt offered to watch them so i can get out by myself. i’m just hoping dd1 is well enough to go to daycare tomorrow.

leatherpants HUGE hugs. The stress of having a baby that won't be put down is no joke. Take care of yourself the best you can. How's the baby responding to being worn? My son was a very demanding infant and wearing him around the house kept me from losing my sanity. Hope today is better.

polson I hope your toddler feels better today! My H is getting home today but not until late so I'm trying to figure out something fun for us to do. I wish the zoo and museum we have memberships to were closer. I don't feel like driving an hour by myself with both girls Right now Em is watching stupid Play-Doh videos on YouTube and I'm cuddling Elle and drinking iced coffee I made yesterday.

tinyjoys good luck! leatherpants I could’ve written your post I am feeling the same way right now. I’ve been up since 4:30. I gave L a bottle around 5:30. I cried through giving him the bottle. I am so tired. I am concerned about my health. My blood pressure has been erratic (low to high at varying times throughout the day). L and I both have doctor’s appointments on Thursday. This baby sleep is giving me anxiety. I wish he would sleep for longer than a one hour stretch in the pac n play, but nope. He ends up in the co-sleeper thing in our bed or the swing. My anxiety over sleep and everything is not helping with me trying to eat healthy and get exercise. I don’t remember being so anxious about sleep stuff with DS1.

polson I hope today is a better day overall and that your girls start to feel better. Hopefully you're able to take your aunt up on her offer and get a break! So many hugs woodenshoes I'm sorry you're dealing with anxiety and struggling. Hoping things improve some or that you're able to talk to someone about your anxieties and health concerns. ❤

Add me to the tired club. Baby was up every 1-1.5 hours last night. Both of my girls woke up once too. It's my first day back to doing home daycare as well. Send cake and caffeine, because I need the energy!

This baby would be perfect if she slept at night like she does during the day. I’m so tired. Also trying not to verbally destroy my husband who is concerned about “what we’re going to do when he goes back to work.” Uh, you’re going to continue to roll over and go back so sleep when she fusses and I’ll continue to try not to die from not sleeping. Asshole. We don’t newborn well.

And I put the ktan in the wash yesterday so that wasn’t helpful.

I hope your bp gets its shit together soon. That sounds frightening. Give yourself some grace with the exercise and eating right stuff. That takes up a huge load of mental energy (or at least it does for me) and sometimes there just isn’t room for it today. I tell myself this 100x a day because I’m right with you on this.

Is anyone still having night sweats? I keep waking up soaked and it's been 5 weeks. Unfortunately it's not like the night sweats of the first two weeks where I wake up having dropped some fluid weight lol.

Good luck tinyjoys! Yay baby! I hope today is better for you leatherpants. Those days are so rough. I hope D1 feels better soon polson. And you get a small break today. Also hoping today goes better for you. I'm sorry about the anxiety and bp issues woodenshoes. I echo others to not worry about exercise and losing weight right now. That's an added stress you don't need. I hope today goes well mattsgirl2004. Lots of coffee your way.

Definitely dealing with a growth spurt here. She’s still sleeping well at night but is cranky a lot of the day. She keeps nursing so is spitting up a lot. I’ve had it easy so far so I’m trying not to complain, but I can’t wait for this to pass.

It's almost 9:30 and my daycare kids still have not shown up (they usually come at 8:00). No texts or phone calls from either parent. If they're no-shows for the day, I'm going to be mad. I got up early to have myself and house ready, which was no easy task considering how little sleep I got last night.

leatherpants I echo what others have said - don’t be too hard on yourself. These first few weeks, the babies are so demanding and it so easy to get overwhelmed. There have been moments with both of my kids where I had to set them down and walk away and take a few moments to collect my composure. Doing that means you recognize you need some space and that’s okay. It also means you are doing what’s best for both of you. mattsgirl2004, that’s frustrating that you got up early and they aren’t there! Can you try texting or calling to ask? tinyjoys hope all is going well and can’t wait for an update! So excited our last baby is finally going to be here! woodenshoes hope your BP normalizes and you start feeling better. It’s so hard to be motivated when you are exhausted and anxious. polson hope your DD feels better soon.

Today was the agreed upon date for me to start watching kids again. I'm really surprised they never showed. The whole reason I didn't take a full 6 weeks off is because of how inconvenient it was going to be for them.

I’m feeling pretty good today. I went to the movies by myself last night and it was sooooo glorious. Why haven’t I done that before???? DH and I both wanted to see the new Avengers movie but with no babysitter, we decided to go see it on our own. So he went on Sunday night and I went last night. It was the first time I’ve had some time to myself since LO arrived. I kind of want to do it again.
No big plans here. We were thinking of going to the park today but it’s cloudy and cool here. That’s very not normal for where I live. So not sure if that will change our plans.
