Morning - I got in my 10 miler on sore legs today, so I'm feeling slightly better about the race. I think I need to start putting bandaids on my collar bones when I run, because I keep getting mild chaffing and it's not exactly an easy area to cover up in the spring. It's never happened before and I've had that jacket for years, so I think it's wearing it with a tank top for longer runs that's the problem. Blech. I'm working from home so I can go to my follow-up appointment to review all my bloodwork from the oncologist (which he already called me about) and my progress with the asthma. I'm hoping she'll agree to extended use of the inhaler before running because I've been having far fewer attacks than I was in the fall, at least since my bout with the flu and getting another bronchial infection. I'd love to keep things in a positive direction. This weekend was too short. I feel like I barely spent any QT with the boys thanks to 84 activities, chores, and obligations. I realize this is only going to get worse as they get older.

My niece sent me a text this morning. I'm sure it was awkward for her to do it but it said:
Hi, this is ________ __________, JJ's daughter.
First of all, I'm pretty sure I'd figure out who you were by your first & last name, since it used to be my last name, too. Secondly, you're my niece.
This is going to be such a weird wedding. Not the wedding itself, but all of us being together.

So our big plan was to move the kiddos to a preschool that is closer to our home (as opposed to work) for the 2018/19 school year. The preschool let me know they have space for C but not B. I feel so disappointed. I’m not interested in moving them separately.

Is there a waitlist yummeecookee ?? Our preschool has one and kids always drop before the year starts. (we are about to be one of those people as soon as our loan goes through 100% for the move)

They just did re-registration for current families and are now moving onto waitlist (us).

What did she want tgrimes ? Is M still going to be a FG? She was asking if M was still available. I thought about replying that she was already booked that day but since she doesn't know me she probably wouldn't appreciate my sarcasm. She asked for my email, which I already gave my brother but whatever, and sent me a link to the dress she wants us to get. The wedding is at a barn and is western themed so the bridal party will be wearing boots. She asked if M had any and said if not it was fine, she knows they're expensive. I sent her a pic of the boots we have and she said they were perfect. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

yummeecookee, that stinks. I hope a spot opens up and you're able to get them both in. Are there any other schools you are interested in or is that the only one? tgrimes, I still think it's so odd that she wants M in the bridal party when she doesn't even know you, let alone M. I mean, when we got married we had no little girls that we were close with. So we didn't have a flower girl. No biggie. But at least it seems like she is trying to be easy about it and not put a ton of pressure on you about buying things, etc. What was the dress like? Was it $$?

Can anyone recommend some cute flats to wear with jeans? Also, need jeans. I bought a pair of Gap and a pair of Old Navy jeans after C was born. I know I'm not the size I'm working on being, but I'm still a fairly average size and the Gap jeans already wore a hole in one inner thigh. They weren't tight either. The Old Navy ones held up better but are a bit too long which I got away with by folding and tucking them into boots.

Hi! Haven't caught up but had a lovely time in Mexico. We were a bit antisocial and did not booze it up in the pool bar all day everyday, but laid on the beach with another couple. The wedding was fun and the groom did a great toast (he's our friend, the wife is a bit of a B, and is so fake to us🤷). Kids survived and we're happy to see us this am. Now I'm barely functioning at work..off to get a salad to try to detox.

jewels, I really wanted this one bc they have a year round program. I am going to look into another one though. They run in line with the school year but have summer “camps.” The camps don’t run all summer tho so I’d need to figure something else too.

I just booked my hotel room for the wedding that Josie is in this June. It's only an hour away from here, but I thought it might be nice to drop the kids off after their part of the wedding is over and have MH put them to sleep so I can go back to the wedding and party a little bit (but honestly, I think that's a pipe dream. In reality, we'll both probably stay in the room with the kids after she's introduced, and thenorder a bottle of wine and some room service and fall asleep before the reception even ends)

I’ve had good luck w the ON rockstar jeans. Have you checked if they come in petite? I also got a pair of BR ankle jeans last summer that fit really well and seem to be good quality. Holding up well for as much as I wear them.

Hi. I'm here in my cubicle working* *By 'working' I mean watching the live feeds and waiting for the Royal family to come show off their gorgeous new baby and Kate's always fab postpartum look. Insane. Can you imagine putting on a dress and heels hours after giving birth!? Hell no. She looks amazing as always though.

I listened to a teaser for the podcast about Sandra, a google/ amazon like Alexa. I don't usually dont do fiction podcast so I thought maybe I hadn't heard of it, and that it came out a while ago? So I started listening to the podcast called Homecoming thinking that's what it was called. Turns out it's just two separate podcasts that I linked in my head so I have spent four episodes wondering why the characters that I was first introduced to haven't shown up yet. Two totally separate stories with two totally separate titles just on the same podcast station.

Thanks Ladies ❤️
I'm waiting for my oldest to get home from school before I take him in. He picked him out as a puppy, and I'm assuming he will want to be there. Not looking forward to it.

I had a little trauma to my face. I shared in snap but my front tooth went through my lower lip. I was pushing H on the swings, looked away for a second at S and she hit me with the back of her head. Right away I was concerned about her and then realized I was bleeding. I went to the doctor and he said that since the outside of the hole isn’t gaping I don’t need stitches. I’m going to be keeping an ice pack on my chin for the rest of the day. Sounds like it should heal pretty quickly.

I'm 5'4" so I bought the petite size. One is a skinny jean and one is a straight jean. I like them both!
