I really hope my mood turns around once this baby comes. I really am the grumpiest person alive right now.
I'm sure if I could get decent sleep and could breathe through my nose properly, my outlook on life would improve.
I did get the infant seat base installed so I really am ready for her to get here at any time!

Hugs Pizzaslut, it's hard to deal with any of the singular things, but all together is rough. Being so pregnant is hard. Fx your little lady decides to not keep you waiting much longer.

Rainy day here too.
On Saturday we celebrated A turning 5 (who birthday is Thursday). Then went to a hockey game with both kids and my sister and her family. Didn't get home until 11:30. Kids slept in only an extra hour too, so boo on that. Then we had dinner at my parents house last night.
I'm exhausted. Thankfully i only work 2.5 days this week.
Wednesday is Foo Fighters and I am beyond excited.

Pizzaslut , hugs. I was the worst pregnant person ever, just miserable. And it changed literally as soon as I had her and all my pregnancy issues went away. I was in a better mood the days following the birth in the hospital than the weeks before lol.

I think DH found a tractor to buy tonight. Fingers crossed. I got my OT paid out to buy one but if we don't buy it soon that money will keep disappearing lol.
It's like magic!

Happy Monday. I'm working from home today so I can take P to a doctor's appointment mid-day. I think she has a UTI– yesterday afternoon she started screaming in pain when she was peeing, and it then went on through the evening. Of course this morning, she seems fine, but if it's a UTI, I don't want to mess with that. I want her on antibiotics.

coconutbacon, hope it's not a UTI but I definitely agree. I hate UTIs. They are the worst.

coconutbacon, my dd get's yeast infections cause she refused to wipe correctly. but i have been dealing with the screaming when pee'ing thing lately too with her. I actually only use vagisal too. But if it doesnt' clear up soon, she may have a trip to the doctors as well. I hope P starts to feel better.

Oh, something kind of cool happened at my race yesterday. So at NYRR races, before they blow the start horn, someone sings the national anthem. At that point, pretty much everyone is in their corral, standing, ready to start. Everyone just quiets while the person sings. It's not really a big deal, and I've never seen it politicized one way or another. (Though, if any folks wanted to take a knee, for example, I would certainly support that.)
Well, yesterday, as a woman was singing the anthem, someone who was not a runner– he was just in the park, outside of the corrals– started heckling the singer and I guess really everyone who was standing there quietly listening to her singing as we got ready to start. He was screaming that we all looked like a bunch of fascist nazis, that she shouldn't be singing the anthem, cursing at everyone, etc. Well, some runners in the crowd started singing to drown him out, and soon, pretty much everyone racing (7000+ people) joined in and finished out singing the anthem. It was sort of this awesome moment of unity/ solidarity among everyone.

Yeah, I am guessing it has to do with not wiping correctly here too, especially because we're in the midst of potty training.

I just watched coverage of the new royal baby leaving the Lindo wing.
I cannot imagine walking out in front of the world 7 hours after delivery. All I can think about is the mondo adult diaper required. Its not right.

I guess for Kate it could be a relief to get back home where she can have privacy. But yeah, can not imagine looking so lovely (even with stylists) so soon after delivery.

I was way to sore to be leaving that early, let alone looking presentable!
In other news, I was stretching at my desk today and somehow hurt my back. So now my back is stiff. Because of course. If I'm still hurting on Wednesday, I'm begging my OB to just rip the baby out. She'd totes do it, right?!

after C was born (c-section) i was so doped up I could barely keep my eyes open due to severe nausea. And when the nurse came in to force me to walk, i sounded like a drunken crude sailor.
So yep, no way I would be able to walk out in heels for a photo op looking that put together....

Just a little longer!!! Friday sounds like the ideal day to have a baby. That's how it works right? I just pick a day.

Pizzaslut, yes - but coming from a person who had 2 babies on a friday i suggest not picking that day. but again, i had c-sections so i was not allowed to leave the hospital until at least Monday. you know, cause my doctor didn't work weekends and the on call dude wouldn't release me until my doctor checked me. so $$$$$. 3-4 day hospital stay each time.

As long as I can send the baby to the nursery, the extra day may be worth it.

I also weighed myself yesterday for the beginning of challenge 3. i went back up 4 pounds due to all my carb eating and wine drinking from the previous 4 days. i weighed myself today, 1 day after clean eating and chugging water - down 3 pounds. damn, bloat is real folks.

It's not a great thing when I have to walk fast/run for my train.

Betweenthelines, but it is. always remember, when you are sore the next day you are still burning calories from your muscles that are working on recovering. so the more sore you are, the more calories you are burning just doing your normal thing. even running for your train.
