Hi girls! Thanks for all the birthday wishes. It was a crazy busy day because I threw a party for my sister since I missed hers when I was in the hospital last month. Happy birthday to L, @sands! Glad you have had such a great trip, snoopmommymom. "Wedding that food sounds abominable! And dangerous. Re: the RSPCA story, I know you have work with shelters in the past. Have you ever thought of trying to get on the board for a local org or in some kind of volunteer capacity for a non-profit? That’s what I’ve been thinking. I’m definitely picky with my rescues though and need to do more research. Like even the RISPCA I have some issues with their philosophies on stuff.

Hey, I don’t think I checked in today. It got up to 62 so we spent pretty much all day outside. This morning we all went to the zoo and the gibbons were making all sorts of crazy loud noises so I recorded it and put it on my snap/ig stories. I got all of my pots cleaned out and ready to go for the summer, just a few more weeks and I can plant them up! I did get some colder tolerant annuals to put in one small pot for now. Almost all of the snow is gone, hallelujah!

There isn't a single AR organization I can say I agree with 100%. As such, I think you have to look at strategy, and see who has an approach that you can support. Or you could try looking at which ones have the greatest need. You have stated concerns about the no-kill/zero kill movement and shelters in the past. I think those things are gaining steam because on their face, they sound good. But maybe there is a local group working to make people aware of those issues? If they do TNR in your area, I think you would be good at that because you have so much experience with cats and I don't think that would be a huge time commitment.

Ooh good call on TNR cagoldi. I’ll look into that. I used to volunteer on the medical side for those but could do other things. I could also just trap my neighbors constantly pregnant cats and fix them. Saving 100s!
