Just watched... Love love love Owen and Amelia and baby together.
Alex and his chip baby were hilarious.
Love Maggie's cheese tray at the end. It even had string cheese on it 😂
Love Bailey telling April she's never hated her more. I feel like that a lot towards April lol (still sad to see her go though)

I was surprised Weber fired that guy. After some of the crap the old residents did?? Plus he could say the drugs altered his mind to lie. I don't really care though cause he seems like a douche.

If Marie was one of the 13 women then she obviously knew why Ellis had to take her name off the award and She that asking Meredith to put her name back on it would be a violation of her NDA. Something about her story isn’t making sense

Something about her story isn’t making sense I think she was asking for her name to be added to the surgical technique that won the award.

She's blind, so she's obviously not coming back to do surgery at the hospital, but maybe she's going to come to offer some opportunity to Arizona and that's where she goes next..

So April will be seriously injured I'm assuming....
Per the episode’s logline, obtained by our sister site Deadline, “Cold As Ice” finds one of Grey Sloan’s own “seriously injured, making the team reflect on what is truly important to them. Meanwhile, Dr. Herman (Davis) pays a visit to Grey Sloan and talks to Arizona about an exciting opportunity.”

I've burst out laughing several times already. Reminds me so much of my one time eating space cake in Amsterdam. One of my friends got super high and stared at the art in the van gogh museum like that doctor. Too funny.
Eta words are hard.

I was surprised Weber fired that guy. After some of the crap the old residents did?? Plus he could say the drugs altered his mind to lie. I don't really care though cause he seems like a douche. Ehhh... I'm probably forgetting a lot of stuff but a most of the crazy stupid shut they did was for the good of the patient/they were trying to help the patient. This intern was under the influence while practicing medicine. That's a big fucking deal.

I thought when Weber said his tox screen came back it was going to be for more than pot. I thought it was going a different way. That’s what surprised me. He lied when he said he didn’t eat the cookie. At least bailey didn’t know she was high when she was starting to operAte

As opposed to intentionally cutting LVAD(T?) wires that are the only thing keeping a patient alive so he could jump ahead to the top of the transplant list? Lol. Seems way too harsh of a punishment in light of other things that were done for their selfish benefit- which is what it was 98% of the time. Like if it had been Alex not the random intern, he wouldn’t have gotten fired. Guess they’re just whittling down the extras

I do get your point but it is Grey's and Shonda lol

We are down 2 interns in 2 weeks, and we know April and Arizona are leaving too. Seems like they’re trimming the cast down.

This episode was fun and silly in a entertaining way. Maggie was endearing while stoned and Alex was hilarious. It’ll be interesting to see how this Harper Avery story plays out.
I’m not sure about the Owen fostering arc. Especially with the crazy hours he works at the hospital.

At least a school aged boy would make a little since because he could be at school and not need care 24/7.

I guess it’s a quick storyline to further his progress and then we’ll never see the baby again.

April told Bailey “I’ve been seeing someone.” I guess it’s probably Matthew. Why else would she say it? I caught that last night too when I watched and had the same thought.

Poor Deluca. The funeral for the lost liver computer animation cracked me up until he realized his girlfriend was a hallucination.
I love that Meredith threw Jo into the deep end that way.
"Son of a bitch." Meredith summarizes it well.

The older kids/ teens are the ones sleeping in the office because they can’t find a bed for them. Add in Owens work schedule, and there’s no way they would place a baby with him if he is open to the older ones.

Do you guys agree with how Katherine handled the situation by paying off the women?

Do you guys agree with how Katherine handled the situation by paying off the women? I was madder than hell at her and was on Jackson's side. Then she said her piece about how thirty years ago, things were different and the women would be fired with ruined reputations, so she got them money and a new start. Ideally, it would have been handled differently. She and the rest of the Avery organization would have told Harper to take a damn hike. Realistically, thirty years ago, she's probably right. I'm still mad at her, though. She was his daughter-in-law. I would have hoped a family member would have been able to make him do it differently. Although, she is a woman and one of color, to boot. (They have never shown Harper Avery to be racist, so that's speculation on my part, but it wouldn't surprise me. One of those "I can't be racist because my grandson is biracial." types.) I don't know. I don't like how she handled it at all. Never at any time should sexual harrassment or assault be covered up by the abuser that way. But put into the context of the times when it happened, it makes sense. It still sucks, though.

Do you guys agree with how Katherine handled the situation by paying off the women? I think for the place and time that it happened, it was the “easier” way. I would hope it would’ve been different if it happened now, but I doubt it. It’s not just one man a stake, but a whole foundation so it’s hard to say.

Do you guys agree with how Katherine handled the situation by paying off the women? It's a hard enough situation to be in now a days, I cannot imagine what it was like then. Also, the foundation was run and funded by him wasn't it? I think making it public or getting rid or him would have meant shutting down the foundation which would mean a lot less money to advance medicine and save lives. I hope I would choose the victims in this case but I can see where she thought it would be better to pay them off and get them away from him. I don't know. It's so fucked up.

I’m watching reruns and cannot believe that Maggie was around when April was pregnant with Samuel. Why does it feel like she just got here?!?!
