Probably not an uo: Do not throw away / touch or even look at my lunch from the work fridge at 8:15 am! Thankfully I slept last night or I'd possibly be the biggest ass ever. A lady threw away my lunch at 8:15! I understand cleaning out the fridge, but let people know before you do so and later in the day. Wait she threw away the lunch you brought in today at 8:15 am?? WTAF, I'd be raging. I hope she plans on buying you lunch or giving you hers.

Ocean > Lakes I think most lakes are gross. No, I have not been to Lake Michigan and likely never will. I am talking about regular lakes. Agreed, half the time when I drive past the lake in the summer there is a warning not to swim due to bacteria 🤢 We go camping every year and there is this creek that ends at pretty cool rock formation that dammed the creek. I do not swim in fresh water, but my cousin went in. There were a ton of people in the water. He developed some bacterial skin infection cause by parasites from the water. Blech.

I don't actually listen to the morning shows. But I work for Radio lol. Oh yeaaaaaah I forgot haha. And I know it's not the one I listen to in the morning. Don't judge me for listening to that. Is it the one that does Roses?

Perhaps an early confession: I’m currently wearing high waist pants and ked-like shoes. (Vans, but same style. I like the black sole black canvas option they have.) I think high waisted pants are very flattering, especially with a tucked shirt and a belt. Just last week I bought high waisted jeans with some shortish, but not cropped, shirts. I think it's a cute look. Although, the button fly is borderline too much work. Those were a mistake.

I am fairly certain that I know a girl that called in to the radio for a segment called 'Love 'Em or Leave 'Em'. Like her voice was super familiar and the situation she described was one that was really close to the situation this girl I know was in and the description she gave of her life (kid, job, living situation) was exactly the same. I felt like a voyeur. I still listened to the whole thing.

I read the title as "PI's" and was like... Positive Interactions? What's become of this thread.
Anyways now I've got coffee.

The lakes here are dammed rivers. Slightly less gross. Slightly. I read this as you saying DAMNED rivers and I was like WTF did rivers ever do to you?

I talk to my mom on my morning commute. Maybe that's a UO. I'd rather talk to her every morning on the drive in than listen to the radio. This is really sweet. I hope my kids call me on their commutes in 20+ years!

I love NPR in the morning. Does that count as a morning talk show? Morning Becomes Eclectic/KCRW was my fave for a long time.

I used to listen to Bob & Tom in high school/ early college. It was terrible. But I went into the world as a super innocent, and it taught me some things that I should've already known.
I was very grateful to discover the world of NPR, though.

Someone once told me "I bet you've never once met someone with such an outrageous, over the top story. So you think the percentage of people who really have these stories are ALL calling the radio station daily?" I was like aw shit. I will say that there are people who are fanatic radio fans. They call in all the time and show up to every event. They are like the same 10 people. I would not put it past some of the to call in to air their shit (real or made up) in order to make contact with the jocks. Before the morning show I listen to now took over we had a local show with local hosts that I loved. There were regular callers that called in every day.

The morning show I listen to puts a lot of their segments online so I can listen to the stuff I miss later.

My old station would do a ladies panel where they would have 3 women call in and they would ask questions to get a woman's perspective (they did a men panel too) and I knew the one who called in and was talking about her divorce through work. I listened to the whole thing and then everyone was talking about it when I got into the office

I love sandboxes and can't wait for sandbox weather.
(UO with DH, who doesn't like the mess. I'm breezy with messes if they occupy my children for at least 20 minutes.)

I called in once to the Canadian equivalent of NPR (CBC) for a discussion show to opine on the salaries of ECE's being too low to and the cause of high turnover etc. You are all shocked.

Well then, it sounds like she can give you her own lunch today. Wtf to cleaning out the fridge and throwing away someone’s lunch.

My UO for the day is that I really dislike longer fingernails. Like, these are both way too long for me and make me cringe a bit:
