I gave up on straight-up stir fries years ago because they were always so boring. What does straight-up stir fry mean?? Veggies and meat with little to no sauce or strong flavors.

I’m going to check with the office tomorrow to see if there’s room in the 2yo/2 day/week class. If there is, I’m enrolling him. This is v v exciting.

Both of my older kids will be in preschool next year. DD in the 4/5 class and DS in the 3/4. But of course they don’t offer them at the same time. So DD is MWF and DS is TTH. Which is going to really cramp my style. My kids are one year apart and I made sure to find a preschool that would take them both on the same days. Because fuck that schedule.

I don’t know, man.

H’s new schedule is working out fantastic for me. He took DS to karate and we’re letting him do both classes so I have 1.5 hours of free time. I need to make a blue apron for H and me but I can do it leisurely with some wine.
I’m the laziest human this week. I can’t figure it out but I’m just letting it be so.

Apparently H has misheard the line “it’s a free ride when you’ve already paid” as “it’s a green light when you are already late”
Turns out I know my Canadian pop star lyrics more than my Hz

I'm going to enroll DD2 in a 2 year old class when she's 2/almost 3. Then I'll decide if she'll do one or two more years of preschool since she's only 2 weeks past the age cutoff for K. I'm counting down the days, even though it's over a year away.

I never thought much about the logistics of multiple kid preschool since I only have one and I’ve always needed full day care. Yikes. It makes my head hurt. Tip of the cap to all y’all who juggle that.

Me too. The only reason I’m leaning towards the cheese is it goes in the oven vs the dumplings I have to cook. Steam those suckers. Or does that count as cooking too? Lol. I would pan fry then add water and steam. That’s def cooking to me.

Walter has inspired my dog to chew on raw hide bones. The ones she rarely paid attention to but now has to have because he does.
So I get to listen to dog chewing * 2 constantly now. 😡

Everytime people here talk about preK and all that's involved I feel completely lost on where to start or what to do.

Mine transitioned to a more structured curriculum at 3ish. But no, you don’t do both.

Veggies and meat with little to no sauce or strong flavors. Whyyyy?? Why don't I like it or why does it exist? I had a lot of bland AF white people "stir fry" growing up (think frozen Costco vegetable mix) and anything that reminds me of that is a real turn off.

But keeps other things from getting destroyed, so a necessary evil.

Ours is a daycare that has pre-K (and now at his age K) curriculum and schedule in the middle of the day. So, it’s basicaly extended care preschool.

I'd prefer to keep her where she is since it's reasonable and she knows the teachers.

He got returned so he’s back with us as a foster. ☹️ I love having him, so it’s ok, but I’m sad for him that he’s still in limbo. He’s a happy camper though. He’s got a whole house of items to chew on.

The puppy’s “birthday” is this weekend. I will probably still call her the puppy for several more years.

I want Walter.
I took Pancho to the vet and he has zero regrowth if his tumor. He’s in amazing health for being 14.5. He’s going to live forever just to annoy me 😂
