1. How far along are you? EDD? 37+4. 13 days to go.
2. How big is baby? Either a honeydew melon or a striped skunk. I feel like last week's papaya was bigger than a melon, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
3. Team: pink.
4. Symptoms: I'm tired and sore. I have horrible heartburn and reflux basically all day, errryday. Cramping and occasional contractions that taper off if I time them.
5. What/when is your next appointment? I have an NST & OB appointment tomorrow afternoon. There are 4 NSTs and two OB appointments between now and delivery, unless I go into labor early (yes please!)
6. Questions / concerns / rants: She still doesn't have a name. We're circling back to Audrey, though, so maybe?
My oldest was diagnosed with strep throat yesterday and we're assuming the middle will be diagnosed today or tomorrow when her cultures come back.
7. GTKY: H got me an antique buffet a year or two ago that I'd been lusting after for a while for our dining room. I hadn't really thought about this year. H is eyeing family jewelry, though and asked for ideas of what I'd like.

1. How far along are you? EDD? 37w5d, 5/4 2. How big is baby? Tackle box 3. Team: Blue 4. Symptoms: In addition to the lovely new chest pain, I’ve started having some end of pregnancy/early labor signs: cramping, pelvic pain, losing weight, extreme fatigue, bowel issues. I’m sure this kid will hang in there at least for the next two weeks and then some, though. 5. What/when is your next appointment? 38w appt tomorrow 6. Questions / concerns / rants: Only 7 more days of work after today! As ready as I am to be done, I do hope I have a few days at home to relax and spend by myself between finishing work and the baby’s arrival. 7. GTKY: What is the best Mother’s Day gift you’re received? What are you hoping/asking for this Mother’s Day?? Getting to sleep in and spend some time by myself is preferred. This year I just want a healthy baby to have arrived before then and to be “relaxing” at home. 8. Show us that bump! He looks like he dropped a bit, but it might just be temporary. [\spoiler]

2. How big is baby? Foam finger; 3.5 lbs based on yesterday’s growth scan
3. Team: Blue
4. Symptoms: heartburn, swelling, carpal tunnel, back pain
5. What/when is your next appointment? Tomorrow morning for regular OB appt
6. Questions / concerns / rants: I had a growth scan yesterday and little guy is growing perfectly and measuring right on track.
7. GTKY: What is the best Mother’s Day gift you’re received? What are you hoping/asking for this Mother’s Day?? DS1 for sure who was born 3 days before Mother’s Day. This year I’m combining my Mother’s Day & Anniversary presents and asking for some sort of mother’s jewelry with their names and birthstones. Maybe a ring, maybe a necklace I’m undecided but open for suggestions 😉

GTKY: What is the best Mother’s Day gift you’re received? What are you hoping/asking for this Mother’s Day?? I've never gotten a gift before. Asked H if he had anything planned and nothing yet. 2. How big is baby? Squash
3. Team: Green
4. Symptoms: Heartburn, tingling at the top of my uterus/bottom of rib cage, peeing all the time, I noticed my ankles are starting to swell towards the end of the day-I think I need new shoes
5. What/when is your next appointment? 32 week appt Friday
6. Questions / concerns / rants: Non-pregnancy related but DD was dropped from insurance as of 4/1 so DH has been trying to figure out how to get her reinstated. First appeal was denied and second appeal can take up to 90 days.
7. GTKY: What is the best Mother’s Day gift you’re received? What are you hoping/asking for this Mother’s Day?? Every year DD and I do “mommy and me” photos with our photographer. I also have a Monthers Day notebook that DH started for my 1st Mother’s Day that he and DD write me notes in every year instead of getting a card. It’s also a divided notebook so we can start a separate section for this kid too!

GTKY: What is the best Mother’s Day gift you’re received? What are you hoping/asking for this Mother’s Day?? We don’t really do gifts for those ‘holidays’, I would get flowers and maybe a gift card for a massage or similar. 8. Show us that bump!

1. How far along are you? EDD? 35 weeks, 5 days. EDD is May 18th. 2. How big is baby? Measuring 35 weeks at today's appointment. Also a coconut and a mini-lop rabbit. 3. Team: Blue 4. Symptoms: Sciatica, SPD, headaches/migraines, swollen feet, waddling, annoyance with the general population, etc. 5. What/when is your next appointment? I had one this morning. I go back next Wednesday. 6. Questions / concerns / rants: The good news from today's appointment: baby is head down! But the ultrasound also showed that my placenta is showing signs of calcification/aging. She mentioned the calcification can be an early sign of pre-eclampsia creeping in, given my history. So far my blood pressure is ok. It was 117/78 this time and stayed right around there the two more times they checked it. Although that is higher than it has been this whole pregnancy (it's been consistently around 110/70). So it has trended upwards since 2 weeks ago. Next week at my 37wk appointment, if it's higher we will apparently have to have a "talk" about a plan because last time my BP went from the high end of my normal to officially pre-eclampsia basically overnight. She also pointed out that my fluid is on the low end of normal so I got a lecture about drinking water. But I drink water and eat ice all day long. I stopped and bought a new water cup that's 64oz instead of the 20oz cup I've been using. I'm going to try to drink at least 2 of these a day, I guess. Does anyone have an experience with either of these things? I don't really want Dr Google to scare me but I also want to feel informed. 7. GTKY: What is the best Mother’s Day gift you’re received? What are you hoping/asking for this Mother’s Day?? I've only had two mother's days. The first wasn't so great because we were 4 hours north at a cousins wedding and had to travel back on Mother's Day. We did stop for a nice lunch, and had plans to take Ella to the park and to get ice cream. But then on the drive home my H started passing a kidney stone so...we spent the rest of the day in the ER instead. Last mother's day, we had a nice morning with Ella and my H cooked breakfast. Then we got a couple's massage. So that was really nice. I'm not sure what to expect this year because it's just a few days before my due date. Maybe we'll figure out some good traditions next year? haha 8. Show us that bump!

lovealwaysalison, I had some fluid issues with DD. It was on the extreme low end of normal at my anatomy scan. Basically I just chugged water continuously the whole rest of my pregnancy (I can't remember the number they told me to aim for) and had some appointments with MFM. It never measured critically low and she was totally fine.

robot Thanks for sharing your experience. My OB this morning said to aim for 2 liters at least, more if I feel like it. Which I thought I was getting at least 2 liters a day with how many times I was refilling my cup...I'll likely try to get more than that most days now. She didn't say, but I'm hoping she'll do a recheck next week of both my placenta and the fluid. I am an anxious person and a week seems so far away. Ugh.

@lovealwaysallison, I am under close supervision for my blood pressure, since I had severe pre-e at 36w last time. I am just under the 140/90 threshold right now, but some Drs work with 120/80 when pregnant so they might monitor you against that number. If you go above, they can prescribe medication that are safe to take with pregnancy, you can go up to 4 doses (every 6hours), and they will watch the proteins in your urine. If they can’t get your blood pressure to go down and/or the proteins get too high, they will induce you. My only advice is to not wait too long when things start to go south, I pushed things because I wanted to go to 37w but 1. Could not so it was all for nothing, and 2. Had pre-e so severe that they put me on magnesium-sulfate to prevent me from having seizure at 1h post partum. It was the worse, period. FX your blood pressure stays steady or below the threshold and all is good for you and baby.

1. How far along are you? EDD? June 23, 30 weeks. 2. How big is baby? A cantaloupe. 3. Team: pink 4. Symptoms: head, pelvis, back, and pretty much everything else hurts. The only time I'm comfortable is when I'm in the bath. So. Damn. Tired. 5. What/when is your next appointment? Checkup with my OB next Tuesday. 6. Questions / concerns / rants: 7. GTKY: What is the best Mother’s Day gift you’re received? What are you hoping/asking for this Mother’s Day?? We're not huge on gifts in my family but last year my mom and I went to the spa for a day and it was divine. I would love to do that again but I would probably prefer to wait until after the baby arrives. 8. Show us that bump!

Madymoiselle Thank you for that insight. My pre-eclampsia diagnosis came on so fast last time it all seems like a blur now and I don't remember everything. I know I called in because my swelling turned into Shrek level swelling overnight at 36 weeks, 3 days. They had me come in for an NST and to pick up a 24hr urine test jug. Since my BP was only slightly higher than it had been but still ok, they didn't expect much. They had me turn the jug into L&D since the next day was a Saturday. They had us hang out while they checked the protein level. The protein level was wayyyy over the 300 limit for diagnosing pre-e, and my BP was over the threshold too but I can't remember what it was. So they kept me and induced me. Induction took 2.5 days but delivery was smooth and baby ended up coming at 37 weeks on the dot. And my BP never got worse than induction day #1 until after I actually delivered and was sent home. The swelling got worse after delivery, too. I went back to the ER like 4 days after delivery and I was put on BP meds and stayed on them for about a month. So I think it was a pretty mild, uneventful pre-eclampsia induction compared to other stories I have heard.

1. How far along are you? EDD? 36 weeks, RCS 5/8 2. How big is baby? ? 3. Team: pink 4. Symptoms: hello heartburn. I didn’t miss you. 5. What/when is your next appointment? Monday. It’s been 3 weeks (due to scheduling problems) so I’m pretty keen to get her checked out. 6. Questions / concerns / rants: I’ll have 3 days of DD in daycare between finishing work and my RCS. I have to get everything done then. My H seems to think it’s some huge luxury and imagines I’m just going to be swanning about. Annoying. 7. GTKY: What is the best Mother’s Day gift you’re received? What are you hoping/asking for this Mother’s Day?? My first Mother’s Day I became god mother to my niece at her baptism which was special. 8. Show us that bump! 1. How far along are you? EDD? 35+3, RCS May 16 2. How big is baby? Toddler backpack 3. Team: pink 4. Symptoms: sore, uncomfortable, swelling, tired 5. What/when is your next appointment? Next Friday 6. Questions / concerns / rants: OB said if we get to the RCS and baby is head down and I'm dilated that we'll talk about possible options for a VBAC. I'm not sure what they'd do since they won't induce with pitocin bc of my previous c/s. OB also said she'd prefer me to work until I deliver. That's nice, birch, you aren't pregnant, on your feet all day, then wrangling a toddler at night. So good news and bad news. And I'm pretty sure baby is head down now based on my level of discomfort and sudden inability to breathe due to a butt being in my lungs. 7. GTKY: What is the best Mother’s Day gift you’re received? What are you hoping/asking for this Mother’s Day?? My first mother's day, H dropped the ball and did nothing. I was not amused then threw my back out feeding the dog. I ended up getting a massage later in the week to help my back and decided that's what I want for mother's day every year. Last year we spent the day in a downtown area as a family and it was great. I loved the day and enjoyed my massage later in the week. Not sure if I'll be up for a massage this year or not. I do expect H to wake up with O and make me breakfast. 8. Show us that bump!

1. How far along are you? EDD? 34w 5/31
2. How big is baby? Basketball hoop
3. Team: pink
4. Symptoms: out of breath, pelvic pain, hip pain, heartburn, morning nausea again
5. What/when is your next appointment? I had a normal MW visit yesterday morning. Next one is a couple weeks away.
6. Questions / concerns / rants: I went through all my papers from the baby classes I took before DD and I have one million sheets that tell me the same things about BFing, and not a single chart about amounts of formula to feed. I figured it’d be easy to find online and nope. Everything is just babies up to a month might eat this much. Yes, I’m sure my 2 day old will need as much formula as a 1 month old. I nearly lost my shit about it last night. I’d love it if BFing worked out this time but that’s really damn unlikely so.
7. GTKY: What is the best Mother’s Day gift you’re received? What are you hoping/asking for this Mother’s Day?? MH has never done a lot. I’m generally happy with some kid free time. This year I’m getting a birthstone ring for the girls, after this baby is born. It’ll be a joint birthday/mother’s day gift since they happen to be the same day this year.

1. How far along are you? EDD? 17 more days! 37 weeks, May 6th 2. How big is baby? Just looking at the size of my stomach, I'd guess watermelon 3. Team: Blue 4. Symptoms: Lots of nausea, heartburn, BH, fatigue, and backache. And peeing every 30 minutes around the clock. 5. What/when is your next appointment? Next Friday, end of 38 weeks, hopefully I get to go straight to L&D. 6. Questions/concerns/rants: I feel super nervous with my OB being out of town. She gets back Sunday. My rant: I'm having to go back and forth with insurance over getting reimbursed for this pump. They applied the amount to my deductible which was already met. 7. GTKY: I love getting charms that DS picks out for my Persona bracelet. This year I'm getting a spa day even if it's a gift from myself. 8. Show us that bump! My lopsided bump

How far along are you? EDD? 38 weeks today, C-section scheduled for next Friday.
2. How big is baby? Big. She was about 7 pounds at my 36 week scan, give or take
3. Team: pink
4. Symptoms: SI joint pain, annoying as hell contractions that just enough to be annoying but not enough to do anything about, pelvic pressure.....oh, and I threw up randomly yesterday. And have been queasy. I also appear to have a burst of nesting energy. I'm hoping I make it to my scheduled section next week!
5. What/when is your next appointment? Monday, 38 week check up and NST
6. Questions / concerns / rants: I am so paranoid of my water breaking. My dr said its possible because of the polyhydraminos that they found on my 36 week scan. It's also causing me to measure huge, and I'm so sick of people commenting on it. Yes, I'm huge and done and miserable. Thanks for asking.
7. GTKY: What is the best Mother’s Day gift you’re received? What are you hoping/asking for this Mother’s Day??
A pandora necklace with my son's birthstone. This year I might just ask for sleep, since I will have a newborn.
