Hi!
I managed to get up, shower get the baby fed, have breakfast and get G out the door 20 minutes earlier than she used to be picked up. She is off to school. I already cleaned up and now I’m relaxing with some coffee. Little dude was napping and now he is stirring.

I am jealous of all of you that have a LO napping somewhere other than someone's arms. I still try everyday to get him to nap in the swing or the RNP or his crib..but have little success. He also fights sleeps soooo bad. Doesn't he realize how amazing sleep is?  I am worried how things will go at daycare when he starts next week. I know he can't sleep in someone's arms there all the time - I am hoping they can work their "daycare magic" and help get him to sleep better during the day somewhere other than someone's arms. He sleeps at night in his crib, so I know he CAN do it (he isn't sleeping through the night yet) |

DH fed Faith around midnight so I could get a little more sleep, but it kinda backfired as I woke up with leaky boobs at 5:00 when she started crying. I don't usually leak...
Last night was a long wake up that resulted in me bringing her to bed with us at 6:00 and letting her pacify herself on my boob so we could sleep. Not ideal but now that I'm back to work I need to be somewhat coherent in the mornings.
Tonight we are going to a playoff hockey game! We are leading the series 2-0 after two away games that went to overtime so our arena should be loud and fun tonight! My sister is watching the baby so we will have to drop her off before we head down. It would be nice for her to come to our house, but she has three kids to get in bed and ready for school so driving a little out of the way is the right thing to do.

Good morning! DD is off to school and I'm chilling with DS on his mat. We got the dog back from MILs on Sunday and DS loves him. Look at that smile!

DS had his first fever overnight because he had his shots yesterday, but he still only had 1 wakeup so I got a little bit of sleep. I'm hoping his fever stays away today and that he's back to his normal self!

I’m itching to start doing a ton around the house again but I’m scared to because I don’t want to get re-sick. The news actually said this morning that because of our shitty weather everyone is sick like it’s the middle of the winter instead of a month into spring.
Ds2 is also grumpy I’m assuming from his shots yesterday. I’m trying to be really cautious too since he got the rotavirus vaccine that we don’t spread the virus.

I joined late and curious how everyone got here There was a mass exodus from another forum (Then Comes Family) when there was some drama involving the woman who was running it. Maybe something about how she was using money that had been donated? And how she was treating people? I forget. And TCF was started after a mass exodus from the bump. |

My ped also told us that this past winter/sick/flu season was a "every 10 years" sort of bad. He notices there is a really bad one more or less that frequently I guess and this one was it. I decided to join HIH since my DD’s BMB is awesome and I wanted more awesomeness with this baby.  |

I joined late and curious how everyone got here I was on the bump the first time I was pregnant in early 2013 which ended in a miscarriage so when I got pregnant with DD1 I joined that BMB. Some stuff went down and a bunch of us moved to Then Comes Family and last year everyone from my first BMB left for here and here we are. |

I had been lurking TD (the Bump, more affectionately known as the dump) while TTC my DD1. one day I logged in and noticed a lot of threads about a new forum where most people had gone. So I went. Same with TCF. When it imploded from drama, I left with everyone else.
My DD1s BMB moved to FB when the babies were little so we felt a little safer sharing pictures. We thankfully were not a crazy or drama board and all but one active poster moved with us.
I like what we have here! If this imploded I'd find whatever way I can to stay in touch with you ladies but since we likely won't have any more kids.. You guys and my N15 moms are enough for me!

Happy Tuesday!
I'm so excited DD1 is going to work with MH tomorrow. I need some quiet time. Plus I'm having lunch with a friend of mine from work whose DD is two weeks older than O.
O slept better than the previous night but.. Still rough. She slept from 8ish to 1130, then up again at 130, and after that up every 45 minutes until we got to 5 something. DD1 HD been pretty bad at night lately too, and around 5 she stumbled in as I was taking O downstairs. O slept from 530-745 on my chest in the living room.
I think I need to start noting when she eats, sleeps, etc so I can see a pattern bc I'm not remembering it well. Any apps you guys are using? I just want something simple.
We are also in leap 2 so I've noticed some leap behaviors like nursing but not eating, etc. She's totally happy in her swing right now so 🤷♀️

I actually have an IRL friend on HIH. I coached colorguard with her and had mentioned TCF when I was pg with DD1. When she was TTC her DD she joined and then moved with everyone to HIH. Now that we both no longer coach due to life, it's nice to have that extra connection. She's such a great friend of mine.

I didn't hear about the possible misuse of funds, but a lot of people were upset that the forum wasn't growing and "promises weren't being kept" and typical of most members of this site they can and do debate everything to death (and beyond) and a simple forum management question devolved into mass chaos. |

I'm 3 pills from the end of my first mini pill pack and I've never been on this before. I had some spotting in the second week of pills and a little spotting earlier in the last pack but nothing I would call a period. Is that typical? I'm still nursing but my PCOS has always caused a lot of breakthrough bleeding before when I wasn't on a "full strength" BCP. Should I expect a regular period?

Morning! I got my start on TK when I was engaged! Still friends with some of those girls and we have had a couple GTGs. Didn’t join a forum when pregnant with DS, but gave TB a try when pregnant with my second. Insert exodus stories, and here I am with 3 kids now lol. H and I have been looking at rings with my kids birthstones on them. I finally got it down to deciding on this one  (Aren’t my kids colours very coordinated and Canadian? Lol!) And then I got super smart last night and started following the jewelers FB page to watch for deals and scrolled back to Mother’s Day 2017 to find out they did a huge storewide sale the week of, so I’ll likely just hold off ordering until I see some deals. Plus they are on ebates! More snow here too, but the forecast is looking hopeful for the official big spring melt. All fingers crossed! |

Morning! I’m at work today. It took me 1.5 hours to get here. Roads were a sheet of ice and it was snowing. This weather is just so depressing now. I’m getting really annoyed by this bleeding I’ve had since I got my IUD. Anyone else experience bleeding after getting the IUD? It’s been 2 weeks now since I got the IUD and I’ve been bleeding for 4 weeks (period and then IUD). This is normal, right? I might call my GYN if it doesn’t stop by Friday. Ugh! My mom is home with the girls today and sent me a photo of them. 😍  |

H turns 3 months tomorrow and has been eating significantly less food then he did a month ago. For the past week or two, he's been having 650-750ml (22-26 oz) when at 2 months he was having 800-1000ml (27-34 oz) every day. Has anyone else experienced this?
He still seems happy and lots of wet diapers so really just wondering. He has his 3 month appointment on Monday so I'll mention it then.

As for how I got to HIH—
I was on TD in 2013 (December BMB) while I was pregnant with DD1. A bunch of us became close so after we all finished having babies, we moved to FB because TD was becoming, well, a dump.
Then, when I was thinking about TTC again, I went to TD and remembered everyone moved to TCF. Participated a little on Getting Pregnant and then life happened so TTC was put on hold. Went back to TCF and saw no one was there and got a link to here!
