Yesterday i had the idea to make chocolate covered popcorn, I added marshmallows, m&ms, and pretzels. The kids love it. If made much more than I was expecting so I’m not sure who I’ll pass that off to.

My 4 year old has become a pouch monster. All he wants to do is consume applesauce/yogurt in pouch form. Anybody have any reusable pouches that aren’t a PITA to clean? I use the squooshi brand ones and put them in the top rack of the dishwasher and haven’t had any cleaning difficulties unless chia seeds have been involved. I upgraded the tops to the silicone softsip tops too, because otherwise my 2.5 year old bites them out of shape.

I'm going to have a hard time concentrating at church this morning because there is a pineapple upside down cake waiting for me at my mom's house. I looove pineapple upside down cake 🤤 She sent me a pic of it yesterday, and I drooled a little.

I try to rinse them with hot water asap so that I can just toss them in the top shelf of the dishwasher with no scrubbing involved.

Morning. Our usual Sunday breakfast plans fell through and DS requested pink donuts with sprinkles, so that's what we did this morning.

My kid put away scrambled eggs, bacon, pouch, berries and cereal for breakfast. I’m guessing a growth spurt is coming.

We're driving to my hometown this afternoon once MH gets out of work. I'm not a fan of the long drive, but my aunt is feeding us, so at least I don't have to cook.

I have guests coming for lunch and am not venturing out I the storm to get food so I'm trying to work with what we have. I offered to cancel, but they want to come. It's looking like brisket and green salad is on the menu. I have no dessert and no eggs to make anything though.

Last night around 2am I finally broke and turned the AC on. I think it said it was 84 degrees upstairs. We were dying. I’m just pissed because the heat will be back on tomorrow when it gets back down into the 40s. you're so extra about this. 84 is too much for inside a home. Even outside you can lay on ground and get cool and have fresh air.

We all slept till 8, even the dog. I made pancakes and bacon for breakfast. Cleaned that up and have the dishwasher running. Today is clean sheet day so I have to get working on that. Other than that I think I'm gonna chill on the couch and maybe go grocery shopping later.

Good morning y'all. STBX wants to get together for lunch this afternoon to talk about "future plans", & I'm crossing all the things that he has come around & is ready to move forward & sign papers, & its not another attempt to beg forgiveness & throw around more empty promises.
Kids are going to the inlaws, & I'm trying to decide where we should go.

Like as much as me 😳 ETA: she’s almost 4. its insane! mine will be 4 in July and is about 42 inches. I’m like, how much taller can you possibly get?

Also, our room is across the hall from the housekeeping closet and MH has a master key. He’s already grabbed an extra towel for me, more coffee pods and water bottles, etc. Living here for a month or so while we close on a house might not be so bad. How has Seattle treated you so far? Is it your first time here?

Sitting in bed with coffee and my iPad while H and DS1 play Fortnite together. DS2 is still sleeping but I expect him to call for me any minute.
We’re planning on going to the pool clubhouse for Sunday brunch later, and swim again if it is as warm as it was yesterday. XH will be by to pick DS1 up later and we’re trying to decide what we should do with DS2 in the afternoon. It’s the last day of Spring Break for the kids, back to school tomorrow.

DD just showed me a “buster” (blister) on her finger that she has from playing her “guitar” (ukelele). I’m slightly horrified but also impressed at her dedication. She’s 2.5 and has been strumming all morning, belting out her own personal mashup of nursery rhymes, Coco songs and Whitney Houston.

Is it your first time here? I’ve been to Seattle before, but it’s been years. My aunt lives up here and we’ve visited a few times. Yesterday it rained all day, which wasn’t my favorite, but today looks pretty clear so far. We are going to check out your hometown this morning and then that’s it for the house hunting. We figured out where we want to be yesterday, but still feel like we need to check the area out just a bit more. Hopefully when we’re done, we will make our way up to Seattle for a few hours. Hope you’re enjoying your weekend! And thanks for being a helpful resource for me.

DD is thrilled. The limited visitor policy ended at CHOP so she actually can have visitors. This is great news!

I'm at work until 1. Going straight to my parent's house after so we can all go out for lunch to celebrate my Dad's birthday. I brought a nicer shirt to change into although I almost forgot to grab it when I left.
We're going to Pappadeaux and I hope it's good.

Lol I don't think I'll be quite that adventurous. They opened one north months ago and it's still packed all the time so it's got to be good.

I didn’t sleep last night due to anxiety. I forgot to pick up my progesterone at the pharmacy and can’t get it until Monday, so I’m missing two doses. Luckily, I was able to speak with a doctor today who told me it should be fine.
We’re heading to brunch in a little while and I can’t wait to eat all the things.

I've decided to take B with me to my manicure. The salon opens at noon, so we're just chilling until then.
