My kid let me sleep in until 8:30. Now coffee.
It’s so nice out so I think we will go to the zoo.

Our neighborhood is great. Our street is great. But one of my next door neighbors is a total recluse. We’ve lived here 5 years and we have seen her maybe 3 times. We’ve done the friendly neighbor wave to her on those occasions and she doesn’t reciprocate. She’s in her 60s (I think) and lives alone (I think.) She parks in her garage, pulls straight in and closes the garage door. H is a SAHD and he never sees her either, and he comes and gos all day.
Anyway, we have a fence issue, and it’s on her side. H is fine fixing it but we have to get access to her backyard to do so. And unless H just hops the fence (which he could easily do) we face the prospect of having to attempt contact with her. My stomach hurts thinking about this. I’m not one to avoid confrontation or conversation at all, but this situation totally has me paralyzed.
So yeah, you are in my head now.

Last night, dh said he would take the kids to breakfast this morning so I could sleep in for once. He is still snoring, and I'm getting ready to fix breakfast. Sigh. At least my plan to wear them out yesterday so they would sleep in this morning worked. 7:05! Woot! I mean, go in and wake him up? I don’t get this “I’ll just overlook it and pick up the slack ::sigh::” stuff I see on here so often. You should have the morning he promised! With STBX, I could have tried for hours to wake him up, & he'd promise he was getting up, & yet fall right back to sleep. Rinse/repeat with me getting more & more angry everytime. When I would eventually throw down & he actually got up, he would be pissy & not fun to be around, & it'd take him forever to get moving & do anything. Not saying that CeeBug husband is as bad as mine was. Stuff like that is something I just put up with for way to long. But I get that kids still have to be tended to & eventually fed during this process.

Morning! My family has been watching Nailed It! on Netflix and we decided it would be entertaining to do a family cupcake competition (especially since none of us know how to bake or have ever used fondant before). We picked some elaborate cupcakes off Pinterest and I fully expect this to be an entertaining disaster.

Unlikely, but I appreciate the thought. I’m only capable of napping when 1st tri pregnant. My body doesn’t do naps very well. Sad. I am exactly the same way & its stupid. Why?!

The baby is NONSTOP. I can’t keep up. So far this morning she’s made mad dashes up the stairs and into the kitchen when DS didn’t fully close the gate and has figured out how to climb on her walker to pull all the things down from the table. On DH’s watch, she apparently climbed up her Anywhere chair and pulled down the Switch from tv stand. She does it all with a smile - girl knows how to work her cuteness. Poof

I spent yesterday at the hair salon and am happy with it. Yay! The place is not very convenient location wise though. PIP? Sorry I'm computer dumb and deleted tapa to make more space on my phone. Better for privacy anyway.

I have bananas to use up so I think this dreary day calls for hot banana bread!
Did I mention how much I love my stove? I love cooking with gas and am so happy I got that great deal or wouldn't have made the decision to get it.

Hi! Drinking coffee. I’ve had a dull headache for about a day. I’m going to drink a lot of water and hope it goes away. I think it’s stress.
I’m going to workout, then baseball for DS, and a dog adoption event at a bar. It’s gorgeous out today so that’s good.

I’ve been awake since 4am when MH got up to work out. Kids got up at 6:00 sharp. 😩☕️☕️ Baseball today & that’s it on the official agenda. Sun is out, birds are chirping & windows open. Tomorrow it will drop 30-40 degrees and be a high of 35 again. WTF even is happening this “Spring?” Yes. It's 80* here and I want to go plant flowers and mulch but it's going to be 40 and rainy the next two days

It's windy AF here and a bit chilly. I ran to HEB for a few things and my car was struggling to not be blown around.
Nothing fun on the agenda for my day off. More chores, a workout, and watching tv. I just want to be done with cleaning stuff but it never ends. 😡

It's going to be in the 40s today which is warm for here and I might start some indoor seeds. We generally don't plant outside until after mother's day for fear of frost but this timing should work out well for seeds. Spring is coming! It really is! Nevermind that it snowed yesterday!

And it'll be consistently in the 50s in the next 2 weeks! Someone at work was saying if it stayed below freezing another 9 days, we would have officially had 6 months of winter weather. So that's enough of that.

I was gifted an Apple Watch for our anniversary since my Fitbit band busted. I had to shell out $2.99 in the app store to get it to read my Fitbit scale, but I love it so far.
