Oh no, slenle . Ugh to snow... I hope y'all don't get as much as forecast. Upside: maybe now your friends will cancel on dinner? Fingers crossed! And daycare just called and H is being sent home for pink eye. Ugh. So maybe dinner is off now? He had the same thing last weekend in his other eye and it lasted less than 2 days. Hopefully it’s not too bad again. Poor H! I would say you have the perfect excuse to cancel, or "offer a raincheck" if it makes you feel better

Morning (for a few more minutes anyway). I was awoken to rain and hail today. It’s been raining/storming off and on all morning. At some point it’s supposed to turn to snow. My niece (10) is here while my sister is at a doctor appt (and running errands apparently). She’s been doing a great job of playing with the girls so I’ve been able to do a lot of chores. I got the sheets changed on both beds, folded and put away laundry, and picked up the kitchen.

Morning!
At work. Pretty slow day in comparison to the crazy of yesterday. No teeball tonight and I am thankful I don't have to rush anywhere once I get off. M2 has picture day at daycare today and I completely forgot so he's just in his regular onesie top and soft pants. Whoops! I'm not too mad because the fall pics came out horrible. The photographer seemed to have no clue how to pose a baby. I also just did Easter/spring pics of the boys a few weeks ago myself and they came out so good.
Happy Friday everyone!

And they don’t even make their wireless bras (which i like) in a 36a. Maybe I should get the hint that I need a little more support? Or a boob job ETA- never mind, I found wireless! My friend loves their wireless bras. She has to go down a cup size when she wears them. You should really go to a store and try on some different types of bras. Going by measurements alone, I should be a 32 B. But the 32B & 32C don't cover me all the way on the sides, if that makes sense. That's why I had to go to the D. My sister wears the same size bra as I do now and she has fake boobs. I told her maybe she was wearing the wrong size so she sent me a pic of her boobs in her bra. Lol. She has way more cleavage and it so much fuller than I am, but her bra fits her. Just sharing that info that you can have different size boobies in the same bra. I have to tighten my straps all the way and hers are much looser. The cup almost covers my entire boob and hers doesn't, in the same style of bra. Anyway, I learned way too much about bra sizes in the last couple of weeks.

Oh, I like that better! 34b. I’ve always wore a 36. I have an oddly large rib cage. I should probably get properly fitted and try on some options.

Happy Friday ladies. Cass' class pictures came in yesterday and they are so cute! I need to scan them in so I can share her individual photo. I'm going to Maddie's school for lunch for a military day. She's excited. I got her a donut this morning for dessert. We might check out some sort of family night event at the Y tonight or just be lazy around the house.

Hi ladies! Had a bizarre day at work. Then some inlaw stuff... Currently vegging out on the couch waiting for our Indian food. Hope the kids fall asleep really soon.

I don't have a clue what my bra size is. I have only worn my Groupon nursing bras since C was born. They are xl but I tried buying xl sports bras and they were massive. These bras probably aren't going to work with tank tops so I will need to figure out something.

That sucks, lfig. How long does it typically take for a full recovery? I’m not really sure. I’ve read that some are real quick, a few weeks, and others a few months.

We have a parkwide clean up today at work. Basically cleaning up debris from floods along the river and picking up trash. Since I still have limitations with what I can do, I became the food preparer, water girl, and photographer of the event. We have probably 50- 60 employees at this. The coolest thing I’ve seen today is MH driving a boat with a dumpster hooked to it and floating it in to shore with a few of our other LE and maintenance guys trying to keep it in balance. Lol. The had to dig lots of sand and mud out of it from where it was lodged in the river from last years flood.

I've been reading along, but haven't checked in...So, happy Friday.
I got mad this morning at the scale so my revenge is to eat all the delicious things today. Except it's only 1pm and I already feel overstuffed, yuck. So now I'm gonna chug some water to try and feel better.
Clearly my revenge plan backfired on me, whomp whomp.

I'm not a backpack person, but man I'm loving my new diaper bag backpack. Why didn't I get one of these earlier!?

Has anyone had both a vertical and horizontal c-section incision? Any difference is recovery/restrictions after? My first two were horizontal and this last one was vertical. I feel great, just wonder if I'll get the clear to workout at my appointment next week. I'm itching to get back to the gym! I feel like I'm good to start now, but am trying to be cautious.

Vertical is the fastest way to get the baby out!

Whew! We just got in from working in the yard...cleared out the beds along the front of the house (it was the motliest assortment of stuff ever) and then planted boxwoods and azaleas. I also got 3 Boston ferns to hang from the front porch. We still need to do a bit of mulching and I want to re-do the planter by the front door, but we made a ton of progress today. It felt so good to be outside.
DH just ran to get a haircut and is picking up take-out; the kids have been outside all afternoon so I'm hoping they're nice and tired and will sleep well tonight (or maybe even a bit late tomorrow morning? One can dream...)

I accomplished nothing today. I was so so tired and still am so I didn’t push myself and took a four hour nap. Hopefully I’ll wake up more energized tomorrow. I feel like I haven’t been very present for my family lately so I need to step it up.

We're trying Charlie out in the toddler bed tonight. No crying whatsoever, but he has been up-and-down for the last hour. I'm going to have to go in and call time at some pt.

Oh my gosh, I fear for L being in a toddler bed. I even got a 2nd crib for her new room just because I love cages...I mean cribs.

He screams bloody murder for the first 5 to 10 minutes of putting him in the crib, and that just happened in the last month maybe. I wasn't planning on doing this tonight, but he is super calm in there. Just not sleeping.

C would have roamed the streets if not locked in!

If it makes you feel any better, this is the first weekend we've had decent-enough weather to get out and do this kind of thing--apparently everyone else had the same idea b/c Home Depot was insane. I hope things will warm up for y'all soon!

It is 8:40, I am going to bed because I have to wake up at 4:30 so I can get ready and drive to work through a blizzard to be there at 5:30. I am not a morning person. The snow hasn’t actually started yet, they were predicting around 8, but right now it’s just raining. I took melatonin, I hope I can fall asleep fairly soon.

What a day! I got to Colin's tee-ball game right on time, straight from the airport. He had a blast and we chatted with a couple other parents. Unfortunately Chase threw up after dinner - A LOT. It was the first time since Wednesday, when he did twice about 4 hours apart. He seemed fine both before and after, but ewww.
I'm somewhat unpacked and I am gradually putting the house back together. I think we're rescheduling our visit with my Dad since Chase is sick and I assume his immune system may be compromised immediately after surgery. No need to spread the grossness.
