I’m trying really hard not to freak out about Syria and the Myeller investigation. It’s all a bit overwhelming. On a different note, look at what former Speaker Boehner is up to these days: I love all of the comments calling out his hypocrisy. Dude just wants to make some green on grass. It will be interesting to see how modern Republicans behave in retirement once Trump and McConnell can't control them anymore |

And the more this shit comes to a head, the more I long for midterms.

Perhaps though, if Paul possessed a spine, it wouldn't be winning.

Not directly relevant to today's happenings, but the Proud Boys have secured a permit for a free speech rally in our (super liberal) neighboring small town's Patriots Day parade and celebrations. The fact that this group exists (let alone around here) scares me enough but that they are bold enough to rally at a non-partisan historical event just to be seen is annoying. And makes me slightly nervous about bringing my kids there.

Ugh. All the headlines I'm seeing today are things like Meuller investigation doomed and that DT's approval rating holds at 40%. Basically we are fucked.
