Omg I may need a drink after all. I thought DDs games were 60 minutes. Turns out it’s 90 minutes/till the end of that inning. It’s cold. The rain started before the game. And they still played the whole thing. It started at 5:45. She’s usually asleep by 7:30. We haven’t even had dinner yet. Insanity We have 3 year olds on our team. Our Saturday 1pm games are right during their nap time. Not looking forward to next week's 5pm game.

Most fried food turns my stomach.
I can handle fries or onion rings a couple times a year, but other deep fried things are a sure fire way of pooping my pants unexpectedly.
There are plenty of calorie rich foods that I can tolerate, and enjoy more often than I should, but traveling to visit SO’s family in the Midwest can sometimes be problematic. His family is fine, but trying to eat out and find a fresh veg is nearly impossible.

I have realized that because neither of my kids has ever been a good sleeper, that I’m super breezy on sleep/naps.
DD never napped more than 45 minutes at a time and dropped naps before 2 and still wakes up at 4:45-5:30 every single day of her life no matter if she falls asleep at 6:45 or 8:45.
DS has been a better napper, but mostly on the go to wherever DD was going...and now that he’s 2.5, he’ll sometimes nap at 9:30am and sometimes at 3:30pm...with no predictability. He is asleep by 8:30 most nights and will sleep until 6 or 7 if DD doesn’t wake him up.
Because they’ve never been predictable, and our schedule is never predictable, we just have let it roll. This has been a benefit and a detriment, but I really wish I had kids that liked sleep.
DD goes to preschool two mornings a week right now that starts at 9 (Four hours after she wakes up). Half the time we are in the parking lot 30 minutes before class, because she’s been dressed and ready and asking every two minutes when school starts for two hours before that and would rather wait in the car than at home. 🙄

I will sue all of you for not focusing on the point of my story. This place. Was the point that Boston sucks? My friend from Boston calls her brothers “Massholes”.

I will sue all of you for not focusing on the point of my story. This place. You know that when food is mentioned, we all immediately lose the plot.

We are cutting short our trip and heading home tomorrow because my one kid has allergy induced asthma and my sister’s house just completely sets it off. I am at max dose of every single medication and we are barely holding steady. Poor kid. I'm sorry. That sounds awful for everyone. Does she have lots of pets or something? What is setting off the allergies? Do you know? She has a cat, and my kid has an extreme allergic reaction to cats. Sorry so slow- I was traveling. We are home, and kiddo is healthy and in good spirits.
