Re. The DC issue klong11I agree w joelies about letting the director/teachers handle it. That’s me, personally. I would probably urge them to speak to the parents about Boy B’s actions. If I never heard about any further incidents then I would assume it was taken care of. Am I being too naive? Idk. But this whole thing had me reviewing the “my body is my body” talk w B last night.

We escaped the ENT with no incidences.
He sucked out his ear and nose. He clogged up the machine 4 times. The chunks that were stuck to the end of the suction device were so gross.
He said tubes typically last six months to 18 months and Hayden was just one of the lucky ones that lost his early. It’s just weird to me because this year has only been infected one time before. It’s always his other ear.
We have a follow up appointment in a month unless this infection doesn’t get any better. For now we keep an eye on it since summer is just around the corner.

I know that there have been some good books recommended around here, but I forgot to put them in my Amazon cart. Anyone have a list?

I'm guessing the hope is that with the spring/summer on the way, he'll be sick less and less likely to get EIs for awhile? I remember Chase's ENT acting fast specifically because we saw him in February, so there was still lots of cold and flu season to go.

Well that's kind of frustrating tgrimes. I just had my phone interview. I think it went well. I'm hoping they didn't like me, because it would be a tough decision. I'm a perfect fit for the job requirements, it's closer to my house, they have a personal trainer who comes in twice a week and a pilates instructor who comes in on Fridays, they're all about every employee is equal and giving back to their employees. But I think it would be a bit of a paycut. I really like my job, but again, have concerns over the future of the company. I've heard from a few people, that there are major concerns about our biggest customer leaving, with the quality issue we have had since the end of December.

tgrimes yikes. Is he on abx now for the EI or drops? And will the hole close up on its own? H sure has the mystery ears. Also not impressed that tubes can last for just 6 months, humph.

Just the drops. The hole will close up eventually. Not a bad thing for the time being because it’s like the tube is still in there to ventilate.

tgrimes IDK if this is a dumb questions but is he planning on reinsterting the tube, or no? Not dumb because I was wondering the same thing. He said since the weather is getting warmer there is less viruses that go around usually. So we’ll keep an eye on his ears and if he only has a couple EIs in the next several months, we wouldn’t do anything, but if it goes back to like it used to be we would consider replacing it.

Morning! I'm sitting in the pick up lane a little early. I ran some errands and it wore me out. Plus, everyone stops to talk to me now and ask about the baby because I am huuuuuuge.
I didn't tell you guys about this lady at a birthday party we went to last weekend. I was chatting with her while she was nursing her baby (she had 4 kids) and she asked me if we had planned for a 5th. I always thinks it's weird to ask people if their kids are planned, but I kinda just said No, my #4 was supposed to be the last one. Then she goes "Oh, that's one of my fears! Can I ask how it happened?" Um, wut. No, you cannot ask that, person I just met. And what do you want me to say...my husband and I had sex? I did not answer her and that was the end of that convo. I think it's so weird how so many people think pregnancy is an open invitation to ask/say whatever they want to a perfect stranger!

I've driven all over God's green earth today taking care of business while on the phone with insurance crap for the business. Apparently we've outgrown our policy and our company overnight. Dad and I are both super frustrated with our insurance lady because she's acting like we're working her to death for her to do her job. Driving me bonkers.

Hello! MH stayed at the hospital and I went home. I brought C back with me this morning and he had so much fun here! It was nice to give him time with A without L screaming, "I do it! My turn! I hold it! NOOO!" My in-laws just picked him up and I'm back to snuggling A.

Colin asks about him all the time, "the baby that came out of his Mom's belly at 7 months instead of 9".

Power is out at work. Sounded like the construction crew down the street hit something, but they are insisting they didn't. They are estimating it will be out for an hour or so more. I want to go home.

They did a kidney ultrasound last night so we are just waiting on results of that to see if further testing is needed to make sure everything is working right. He's only just over 5lb now, but he looks bigger to me. He's getting some meat on his bones!

This morning our nurse "accidentally dropped" two tubes of diaper cream into my bag. Made me think of my NICU klepto friend, lfig!

Morning ladies, long busy day. Moving the office tomorrow, so lots of last minute things and packing. Student meetings at the other job. Hopefully a quiet evening tonight.

Trucking through another day, trying to decide if I want to get anything from the Hunter for Target collaboration. Some of the boots and coats are really cute but I also try to not be outside when it’s wet so not sure if it’s something I need. 😏 Posts like this have me wishing for FB-style reactions instead of just likes. This made me crack up.

One of S’s tubes fell out before 6 months too. Since it fell out (we saw the ent in aug and the hole was already healed closed) she’s had 2 EIs, but they’ve been better than they were before. The thing that sucks about 1 in, 1 out is that they can get both kinds of EIs.

I’m currently sitting waiting on one of my work vehicles to get an oil change. I have 7 vehicles in my fleet that I manage. 6 of them need oil changes and 4 of them have recall notices on them. I will be spending a lot of time getting all this done the next few weeks so it’s all ready for my staff to start.

I just emailed you this morning because I noticed you weren't on FB anymore and I wanted to be sure everything is ok. I saw your post in the group - got the gist but not the details. I hope you are feeling well, even if you are "huuuuuuge." <3 Also, yeah, I think it's totally weird to ask people (strangers, obviously, or acquaintances) if they're trying to get pregnant or how they got pregnant. Like, I do not need you imagining me having sex.
