All schools around here are cancelled. Winter can kindly see itself out now. I heard anywhere between 1-8 inches today. Thanks for nailing it down for us..
I had more lab work done this morning. I've been having some partial seizures and although more just of an annoyance to me DH is noticing mood changes so time to get it looked at. He doesn't get that but mood changes are just me finally communicating what I need from him more assertively than normal.

maddisonrose champagne in bed sounds heavenly I always swaddle long but I can’t imagine not swaddling at this point. I’d get a bigger swaddle me but I throw money at sleep problems. We’ve had success using the Merlin to get out of the swaddle but this was always like 5.5 months. ^ me too! same...I bought every special blanket/swaddle for DS

so for sleep I use the love to sleep swaddle up. They have a transition one that's perfect for moving them to non-swaddle. We've outgrown the small already, currently in the medium size. L seems to be falling asleep for the night at 8. I need to make a routine out of it. -edit that obv I am not thinking. L is for Liv. Olivia. Duhhhh. pinkcat echo that if it's working, keep on keeping on. Because before you know it you will think you're in a good rhythm and you'll hit a sleep regression. 🤷♀️ babies are babies are babies. I'm not rushing anything, but I'll be excited for a couple more months down the road where they're not total lugs, have a little more personality, we have some semblance of a schedule, and yet I don't have to chase them.

Also, I am a sleep protector at all costs. We don't go anywhere if it will severely interrupt naps unless it's long enough to drive that a nap will organically happen. Our long drives are engineered to ensure maximum sleep. Etc. So... It kinda sucks. But it's just a couple years like this.

I decided to go grab lunch BY MYSELF while my aunt is watching J. I just ordered a burger and fries. Yum. After this, time to run solo errands.

Also, hi.
I'm not feeling myself. Yesterday mh had his buddy and his kids over from like 1230-8.... So you know. There was a lack of communication about plans and food and that kind of stuff stresses me out. So I'm a child, and declined dinner (he went out to get burgers when it became clear he neglected to ask me to plan dinner for 4+3 kids, not just us). I was also the assumed babysitter so. That was a joy. (Not). Our whole schedule was thrown off so again, not cool.
So we're fighting, I guess, and that just has me in a funk. Ugh. I need warm weather bc... That keeps this shit at bay!

sunfrogger I want no one at my house for 7.5 hours. That’s way too long. Right. I don't care if you're my best friend.. Go home. I used to be quite the extrovert and... Not so much anymore. His best friend is also an asshole so that rubs off on him a bit when he's around. Thank God he lives 9 hours away.

We are still swaddling using either the halo or swaddleme swaddles. She fights it pretty hard so I let her have one arm out. She’s almost outgrowing them and I’m not sure what we will use next, I have a lot of sleep sacks from DS but don’t think she’s ready for those yet. So I guess we’ll be spending more money...
She slept probably her best night yet. Went to sleep at 8:30, slept until 12:30, then up at 4:15 and then 7:00 for the day. Took DS to school and then went to a mommy and me group. There were six other moms with babies 8 weeks or younger, so it was really nice. Plan on going back next week.
