Me!
Preschool spring break was last week but they are also off today. I’m so glad. I feel like going nowhere after all the shuffling yesterday.
Baby is napping and the boys are happily playing with their new workbooks and colored pencils. It’s confusing.

I am soooo unmotivated today. I have a ton of cleaning to do today but I’m sitting on the couch watching tv. G is on my iPad and baby is sleeping.

My parents just came and got the older three who are all off school yet again today. I seriously would lose my mind without my parents. Trying to get baby down for a nap and then I need to do a lot of picking up and laundry. I’d rather sit my butt on the couch though.

It’s my husband’s first day of paternity leave so we’re just hanging out before I go back to work Wednesday. Might go and order new glasses today as my prescription has changed again. Why just get new lenses when I can go for a new style!
H slept for almost 8 hours last night and went to sleep on his own. Hoping this keeps up! The longest he’s slept before is only 6 hours and that’s just been a few times.

FAITH SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT!!!!!! For real, she slept from about 11:00 last night to almost 7:30 this morning!!!! Yesterday she was overstimulated and overtired (church, home, pictures, lunch at my sister's, etc.). We couldn't get her to take a good nap or take a good meal so I was sure last night was going to be a disaster. We napped together when we got home for 2 hours and then she was fussy for a few hours and then ate again and slept all night! She ate good this morning and is now napping. She is getting a lot more personality these days. A lot of smiles and "talking" and sounds like she is trying to laugh at times. My parents were in town for the weekend and she even turned her head when my Dad was talking to her. When she isn't screaming she is a sweet baby. lol Pictures from yesterday...

My poor big (19 mo) woke up twice in the night with diarrhea. I kept her home today and she’s definitely got a bug or something.
Baby T and her have been sleeping for the last hour or so. I was able to get everything tidying up, laundry done and dinner in the crock pot. At least I have chicken and biscuits to look forward to for dinner.

Hope your kiddo is feeling better fast watermelonseed! sunfrogger solidarity sister, spring temps finally show up in our forecast next week for the first real stretch of above freezing all year. It looks wonderous and I can’t wait! Morning! We finally did our little Easter egg hunt this morning and the kids all got their new boots, just in time for aforementioned melting temps next week as there will be a lot of snow to melt through and make a huge mess lol! So I finally took some pics of my kids doing Eastery things. H is off this week for spring break so it doesn’t even really feel like Monday, yay today will just be unpacking and laundry and house organizing from being away all weekend.

Snowing here again too. Winter just won't let go! My baby thinks it's fun to stay up until 1 am now. Not cool kiddo.
Yesterday was fun but it threw us all off. My toddler slept until 930 this morning! They go back to daycare tomorrow and we can get back on our schedule.

We had about an inch of snow last night but it is mostly melted today. We have a lot of rain and cool/cold temps in the forecast for the next 10 days. Boo.

I found some motivation to get things done. I put away clean towels, washed dishes, drank 32oz of water, threw in a load of laundry and made lunch for G and myself. I did all of that while little man was in the sit me up. He actually started to doze off in it so I moved him to the rnp. G is in bed but I doubt she will nap. Little dude is asleep. I’m sitting on the couch working on my second 32oz cup of water.

I don’t know about having both. I had a bumbo that I was gifted when I had G. I returned it for the SMU. I like it because he has chunky thighs which would not fit comfortably in the bumbo for very long. I will probably get to use the SMU for at least another two months, maybe even three depending on the weight limit which I have to look up. ETA: weight limit is 25lbs so I will get a good amount of time out of it.

I have both and definitely prefer the sit me up (J just started using it a few days ago). For my DD and the bumbo, she had thick thighs and barely fit in it. I bought the sit me up for J based on a lot of recommendations

+1 to not liking the bumbo. DS1 didn't like it so I gave it away. I actually got ok sleep last night. Went to bed at 9. Baby woke up at 10, 2 and 5 and the toddler came in our room at 2. At least it was when the baby was stirring. DS1 was captivated by the garbage truck this morning st daycare.

DD2 is 1mo. When can I start using a SMU? I didn't get one for DD1..but she started sitting in tripod at 3.5mo and unsupported at 4mo. But I do sit on the floor a lot with DD1 so I'm not sure if it will benefit me or if I can just prop her in the Boppy. Talk to me, peeps.

It is supposed to be 69 on Tuesday but rain and storms so I don't really count that either...
A sit me up is on my wish list. It is the same price on amazon and BBB but with Amazon I can use credit card points (free) but I can use a 20% coupon for BBB. Free is usually better but I would be using "full price" points...

I have a SMU in the attic, DD is 5 weeks old, I’ve assumed she’s too young to use it yet, but maybe soon? With DS, I bought it pretty late and he didn’t get much use out of it.
Went and got DS a haircut today and then went out for a quick lunch just me and the two kiddos. DS is napping now and I’m nursing DD. I might try to squeeze a nap in before DS wakes up.

I put DS2 in the sit me up yesterday at 7 weeks. He did well on it but I wouldn’t be comfortable leaving him in it and not being like right next to him just yet.

We started briefly using the SMU at 6 weeks for a few minutes here and there. She’s doing really well in it for almost 15 min at a time now(7w)
Good practice for neck control and if you have to unload dishes or something hands free. Last time I think the bumpo was not used until at least 3 1/2 months or more.

We went to Target earlier today to check out the clearance Easter stuff. I was tempted to buy lots of candy...but I didn't. I really wanted to get an Easter Basket for J, but they didn't have ANY baskets left.

The baby is sleeping. This is not good. Bedtime is supposed to be in little more than an hour. I hope this doesn’t bite me in the butt.

I have a bumbo but don’t really like it. Just went ahead and ordered a sit me up. Hopefully it will buy me some more chore doing time! And I think the older sisters will just get a kick out of her sitting up. Her Easter basket had a couple of teethers and a toy in it and they are desperately trying to get her to ‘play’ with them. Lol.
