I keep a bowl of ready to eat fruit in the fridge for the boys. Today I picked up a cantaloupe and cut it up. BH left the dinner table, got himself a bowl, and filled it with melon instead of eating his dinner.

I think the only time my DS ever slept until 7:40 was sometime last year when he was sick with HFM disease. That just doesn't happen in our household. Doesn't help that he's been fighting sleep this last month too. At DST we didn't change anything so they were going to bed at 8 and waking closer to 7:15. We transitioned to one nap a few weeks ago and they've been sleeping in. Going to enjoy it while it lasts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My dd use to be such a great little water but the past 3 months she lives off carbs. She doesn't eat cheese unless in quesadilla form. Last night, anything I put in front of her was offensive so she ate croutons for dinner! Not my proudest moment but I was done for the day and couldn't deal with the fight. we don't get pictures or updates during the day. Unless there's an emergency, they just tell us about his day when we pick him up. I'm glad my DC doesn't. I think it would be much harder if I was getting constant reminders of how my kid is being super cute and I'm stuck in meetings. Is this where I confess that I called DC everyday on my lunch break for an update on DD? I just stopped this week and she has been going there since she was like 11 months... it was time to cut the chord I guess. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They go from being great eaters, to weird eaters, and back ad nauseum.

DD used to be a great eater when she started baby food then solids. Now she refuses to eat any meat whatsoever. She is a carb junkie eating basically only Mac n cheese. She does eat her weight in fruit though maybe a few veggies here and there. I'm anxiously awaiting her food habits to change but it doesn't look like it anytime soon 😩 At least she is eating something I guess. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

gangy, I'm in the same boat with DS1. He used to eat EVERYTHING. Not so much now. Fruit, chocolate milk, and carrots make up the bulk of his food. He does love steak, though. I need to make it more often.

I gave her a piece of my filet recently and she threw it on the floor saying "that's dis-gust-in" thanks Peppa Pig for that phrase! 😩 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I still heavily rely on pouches for nutrition. She gets at least one a day. That way if she lives on air that day, I can say she got something healthy in her. She loves them so I dont see us stopping anytime soon. Probably going to be sending pouches with her to college.

I send pouches to daycare because I am horrible at food prep so that pretty much the only veggies he gets.
