Just plan on giving my kids their Easter baskets. We have no other plans otherwise.

Baby is the size of a: a skunk/honeydew melon

Appointments: last appointment is 4/3

Symptoms: Acid reflux, vomiting (but only twice last week!), backaches

Milestones: I think I'm ready for this baby...his room has furniture, and his clothes are all washed.

Rants/Raves/Vents: Mil is supposed to be here Friday night but she's leaving super early Monday morning.

GTKY: any plans for Easter this weekend? Friday we're going to a farm to do a Easter egg hunt and Sunday we're going to DH's cousins house.

Appointments: had one yesterday - everything is fine - waiting on gbs results

Symptoms: I want to cut off my back, hips, and legs.

Weeks pregnant or How old is your LO: 9 days old

Baby is the size of a: 6 lbs even at Monday's appt

Appointments: weight check Friday and two week appt next week

Symptoms:

Milestones: today is my due date but instead I'm snuggling a 9 day old baby

Rants/Raves/Vents: things are going really well actually. She's waking to eat on her own so we no longer have to wake her. She's eating about every hour during the day but nursing is going so much better than with DD1 at this point so I don't mind it. I just wish it was a longer stretch so I could nap in between.

GTKY: any plans for Easter this weekend? On Saturday we are getting together with my mom's family to celebrate an anniversary for her mom who passed away 30 years ago and we will do an egg hunt for all the kids as well. Sunday we go OOT to get together with my dad's family in the afternoon and Mh's family in the evening. We will do baskets with the girls in the morning before we go. I'm debating putting some eggs in our backyard for DD1 to find too.

Symptoms: rib pain, hip pain at night, some SPD making a comeback

Milestones: I'm full term and waiting for baby to come!

Rants/Raves/Vents: I was hoping my membrane sweep yesterday would have resulted in something by now but no such luck! I do still have some pink spotting and the odd crampy feeling but it isn't amounting to anything 😒

GTKY: any plans for Easter this weekend?

We're having Easter dinner with my parents. I have an Easter basket for DS and some chocolates for my husband. I'm also going to make a chocolate tart for dessert, unless baby decides to make an appearance this weekend!

Weeks pregnant or How old is your LO: 37w5d ... I accidentally wrote “47w5d” and it honestly felt more accurate.

Baby is the size of a: very large vegetable or fruit.

Appointments: weekly. They are boring and I’m regretting declining cervical checks.

Symptoms: same as the rest of the pregnant people. Also, I feel like this baby is just playing with my cervix at this point.

Milestones: basically full term?

Rants/Raves/Vents: The baby flipped some time between being checked at the beginning of my version appointment and when they did the official check before giving me drugs so that was a really nice surprise! What a little troll though...

GTKY: any plans for Easter this weekend? Egg hunt for DD with a basket full of toys that will hopefully help us survive the last few weeks 😂 I put like one jelly bean or sweet tart in each of her 12 eggs so I don’t have to worry about her begging for candy afterwards. It’s all gone that morning and she doesn’t really know that’s not normal!

Weeks pregnant or How old is your LO:
4 DAY OLD BABY. HOW?!

Baby is the size of a: she was 8lbs 9oz yesterday- well on her way back to her birrh weight.

Appointments: Midwife will be back again tomorrow. We have an appointment at the breastfeeding clinic to have her tongue tie clipped on Tuesday.

Symptoms: God awful hemorrhoids.

Milestones: Her cord stump fell off yesterday- it seems really early but it looks fine so whatevs. First cloth diapers today.

Rants/Raves/Vents: I'm honestly so happy to have a daughter. I would have loved for B to have a brother, but I would have been a little disappointed too.

Breastfeeding is going a bit better and she's gaining and everything but I'm still kind of pissy about how long it takes to get an appintment with the LC.

GTKY: any plans for Easter this weekend?

I'm already starting to get a little stir crazy so we might go to the Easter Egg hunt downtown on Saturday. My mom is doing dinner on Sunday and I think my Grandma will be coming.

How old is your LO: 3 weeks

Baby is the size of a: he was 8 lbs 3 oz on Monday so above birth weight!

Appointments: other than trying to get into the ENT for his lip tie, we don’t have anything until 2 months

Milestones: his getting pretty good at holding his head up!

Rants/Raves/Vents: sleep is so hit or miss. He wants to sleep all day which means inevitably he spends half the night up. We are trying to fix it but he’s stubborn (and really hard to keep awake). He also spits up so much more than DS1 - I’m not used to this at all. So. Much. Wash. Otherwise this kid is so easy going I can’t even believe it.

Also...I’m a mess. I did two things last week that tweaked my incisions and set me back several days pain wise. I’m frustrated because I’ve been so careful to avoid this and two fluke things completely messed things up. It’s so hard to feel worse now than I did a week ago.

And then...I’ve got another ulcer. I had one after DS1’s birth that I attributed to suddenly drinking coffee nonstop when I had never touched the stuff before. This time I can attribute it to the pain meds (I even stopped them before I was ready to avoid this - didn’t work) and stopping Zantac cold turkey - apparently that’s not good. So yeah. I’m not the happiest person right now.

GTKY: any plans for Easter this weekend?
We will take DS1 to an Easter egg hunt here in town and then do a basket for him on Easter morning. But no other plans.

Weeks pregnant or How old is your LO: 3 week’s old yesterday. No idea how that happened.

Baby is the size of a: I’m not sure. He’s definetly grown into the newborn clothes though so I’m guessing about 7 lbs?

Appointments: we have our follow up genetics appt on Tuesday. And I had my surgery consult for my gallbladder yesterday. I’m going to hold off on surgery and see how things go.

Symptoms: I think my stitches are healed but it’s still pretty sore down there.

Milestones: I took both kids out to L’s music class by myself last night and everyone survived. I’m going to attempt to bake a cake for L today...

Rants/Raves/Vents: the fucking snow is really putting a damper on my plans of trying to get out of the house.

GTKY: any plans for Easter this weekend? My sister has organized an Easter egg hunt for L and her and my mom did up Easter baskets for the kids.

Weeks pregnant or How old is your LO: 37+2

Baby is the size of a: baby

Appointments: OB and NST Monday...everything looked good and I'm 3cm dilated which was a relief to hear since I have an induction scheduled.

Symptoms: Terrible acid reflux that woke me up at night twice last week in a coughing/choking fit. Some cramping, but nothing that has amounted to much yet. I am pretty sure I've started to lose parts of my mucous plug.

Milestones: Early term

Rants/Raves/Vents: Nothing much. I waffle between being really ready to have this baby and feeling freaked out about labor and delivery and having a newborn again.

GTKY: any plans for Easter this weekend? On Saturday we are going to my mom's for Easter with her side of the family. Sunday we'll just hang out at home and do an egg hunt for DS and give him his basket. I'm planning on doing some good brunch foods that day.

I'm so happy to have a baby this HDBD. I do feel like I'm kind of fighting the ppa I had with Em. I feel blissfully happy 90% of the time but the other 10% is hard.

GTKY: any plans for Easter this weekend?
We are doing a few egg hunts with Em. Easter morning we'll do one at home and give her a basket. We'll stop by our parents but aren't doing anything crazy.

Although, my ILs are going to the brunch that I really love. But I'm sure going with a toddler and 1w old would be insane, right?

Em actually is super in love with her sister, more so than this picture suggests. She was distracted by Curious George at the time.

Baby is the size of a: He was 9lbs last Thursday. He is probably closer to 9.5 lbs now.

Appointments: None for awhile. My pp appointment is 4/16

Symptoms: nights are still rough so I am tired. Also, I am having some stinging near where my c section scar is. L has lovely case of baby acne.

Milestones: nothing this week

Rants/Raves/Vents: We are going to my parents this weekend. My brother’s family is going to be there too. I am looking forward to DS1 having entertainment but not looking forward to what sleep might look like.

GTKY: any plans for Easter this weekend? We are going to my parents house. We might go to an Easter egg hunt. Also, we are going out for Easter dinner.

Baby is the size of a: 9.5lb baby according to my latest growth scan. My other two were no where near that large so there’s a pretty good chance that’s wrong, though I do like to use the very large baby excuse to whine more.

Appointments: NST, Biophysical and 39w OB tomorrow.

Symptoms:

Milestones: RCS on Tuesday!! MH starts his paternity leave tomorrow. I’m a SAHM with a 2yo and a 4yo so I’m SO ready for that to happen.

Rants/Raves/Vents: My dogs won’t leave me alone. They are obsessed with me when I’m pregnant. I love them but I do not love tiny wet dog noses pressed up against the shower where I go to escape them.

GTKY: any plans for Easter this weekend? Probably should think about Easter baskets. 😬

Weeks pregnant or How old is your LO: 3 weeks yesterday

Baby is the size of a: she was 9lbs last week. Need to go in and check if she’s up to birth weight.

Appointments: 1 month appt next week? (I should really book that).

Symptoms:

Milestones: today is my first full day home alone with both kids. Wish me luck!

Rants/Raves/Vents: G has been waking up early the last week or so, so H has been getting up with him while I sleep/feed A. Today he slept in till his normal time , I was so happy.

GTKY: any plans for Easter this weekend? H is working on Sunday so I think we’ll have Easter (egg hunt and baskets etc) on Monday when he’s off.

Weeks pregnant: 34+4. 20-34 days, tops, to go.

Baby is the size of a: butternut squash. Although, last week at the MFM, they estimated her to be 5.5lbs already, but the OB LOLNOPE'd that. I grow small babies.

Appointments: NST on Monday and she tried pulling the same stuff as last week, but eventually gave just enough variability to make the OB happy. I have an OB and NST tomorrow afternoon.

Symptoms:

In all seriousness, I’m really sore/stiff around my lower stomach/previous c-section scars. I feel more like I’m 2-3 weeks post section than I do 3-5 weeks pre.

Milestones: I started packing my hospital bags on Monday. Mostly it’s toiletries I bought specifically for the hospital, extra long phone cords, yoga pants I won’t miss these next few weeks, and nursing bras. Still need to toss tops in there. And I have to start keeping up on laundry so I don’t hand my mom & sister a hamper of clothes for the older two.

Rants/Raves/Vents: nothing I can think of.

GTKY: I just put Easter baskets for our two kids and our nephew a few minutes ago. Otherwise, we'll probably do our normal Sunday morning grocery shopping after they open baskets (that I went super simple on) & maybe breakfast at a coney island/diner, then we're doing dinner/lunch around 2 with my side at my gram's. It's just us with my mom, sister and grandma, nothing too crazy. Celebrating with H's side is still up in the air.

Baby is the size of a: body of a 4/4 violin, pumpkin

Appointments: Check-up tomorrow, I guess we’ll talk about induction?

Symptoms: all the usual suspects for being basically at my EDD. Everything hurts and I’m dying. And cranky.

Milestones: since I had DS1 at 39+1, every day I go is the most pregnant I’ve ever been.

Rants/Raves/Vents: Obviously I’ve been complaining all over the board, but I’m just so ready for this baby to be here. I guess my OB will talk about induction tomorrow, and I’m feeling very torn about that. I want my mom to get some time with the baby (and me to have some PP in-home help) before she flies back, but I don’t want to make a major medical decision like induction based on convenience. I’ll see what her thoughts are and where my body is at with progression.

GTKY: any plans for Easter this weekend? Assuming I’m not in labor or have a baby, we’ll probably just make a small meal and go to church as a family.

Appointments: 1 mo next friday

Symptoms: tailbone still hurts and i feel like either my stitches are dissolving or i did something to them

Rants/Raves/Vents: sleep is pretty good but the toddler is killing me. i am still feeling overwhelmed some days with day to day stuff, running errands...i think it’s worse just thinking about things than actually doing things

GTKY: any plans for Easter this weekend? ils on saturday and brunch at my moms and lunch at aunts on sunday...im sure dd1 will be an overtired, sugared up mess. and h is on call😑
