I have had to sleep in my rocking chair the past two nights with L, bc her poor little nose is so congested. And she keeps coughing and waking herself. Little sleep while hosting my in laws is no fun.
L has been eating stage 2 purées, MumMums and just started the puffs too. Haven’t done meat yet. I spent so much time focusing on what to feed DS at this age and with her, I don’t have the energy. I just picked one of every flavor on the grocery store shelf.
Happy Passover and/or Easter to those celebrating this weekend!

I am so touched out this morning. J did not want to sleep alone. He only wanted to be held with his face on mine and me singing. Everytime I stoped singing or tried shifting him to my shoulder he cried. So we spent 3 or 4 hours in the chair like that. Then I put him in crib and he slept fine. Dh tried snuggling with me and I was like please don't touch me. I need some space.

Omg. N has been waking up only once these last few nights but he has a death grip on me as soon as I pick him up! It’s like a battle to put him back down in his crib! “Glad” to hear Im not alone! ESP bc once he’s asleep in his crib he’s knocked out. Woof.

How is everyone introducing meat? For come reason, the jarred chicken weirds me out. Should I just give it to him in tiny chunks? Or purée it myself? I haven’t given him any that he needs to chew up yet. I am shredding it into very small strips. Or you could cook it until super soft and cube it super tiny.

I gave j a mum mum tonight and he totally choked on it. So badly that he threw up his entire dinner. Dh freaked out because he didnt want me to give it to him and i felt horroble . J cant handle anything not pureed. He totally just syarted gagging on it then puked. I’m sorry, that’s scary. My toddler was eating red pepper strips so I figured M could gnaw on one and not bite it but she managed to get a piece in her mouth and I had to dig it out. I was freaked about choking. She does do ok with mum mums and Cheerios though. He will get there. I’ve been giving A a long cucumber spear to gnaw on. He usually just scrapes the seeds off while he’s “chewing”. Last night he took a chunk off and I’m glad I noticed before he choked. I had to scoop it out of his mouth too. What’s a mum mum?

I was just telling MH ever needed to do just that, but I want him to be with me too, just in case. Lol

Noah hates them 🤷🏻♀️ My bffs daughter would eat like 50 of them in a sitting if she could.

Is it possible for the first tooth not to be one of the bottom middle teeth? It looks like something is happening at the spot next to the bottom middle spot but I don't know if it's a sore him or a tooth

The bottom middle are the most common but not always the case.

Happy Easter all! 🐥🐥🐥 I hope some of you will share your easter baskets here or in the pic post in the private board! It is not a tradition here but I think it is so fun and may introduce it to my family next year! They are just for the kids right, or do you get some sweets or such as adults as well? 🙂

I can't post pics mobile but I found an Easter basket with bunnies in spaceships foe j! His whole room is space themed.
He got 3 books, some pouches, new pacifiers, 2 new outfits, bath toys, and a sleep sack. Nothing too exciting but it was fun.
Happy Easter!

A has been awful today. He was not in a good mood at all and cried for 80 mins out of the 90 mins it took to drive to my MILs. And it was just me, MH had to work. He also cried on the way back and was grump the whole time we were there.
I have a clogged duct and it really hurts. I can’t seem to get it out. So, I’m not feeling well either. My FIL was trying to get me to come see him last minute before I left, but I told him both weren’t doing well, so he he sends me a pic of the Easter basket he got A. Ok? Lol like, you gave me zero notice. I can only do so much.
Sorry for the rant.

3.15 and i am still awake. D. went to bed at 9, woke up at 11 and again just after midnight and didnt want to go back to sleep.... I ended up with her falling asleep on my chest finally about an hour ago. Dont dare to put her back in bed but also dont date to sleep like this out of fear she will roll of my chest and out of bed or such. So so tired. Brings back memories of when she was little (r!)!

Hi everyone! Hope everyone is doing good! I’m playing catch up!
It’s been a long week here! We have been at my parents for the past few days due to the holiday. So you can imagine things are hectic with 4 dogs in one house, plus 3 kids under 4!! 😬

I'm sorry you had a hard day. Hugs.

I managed to sleep from 4 till 7.30 - I am dead lol. It has been MONTHS since we she slept on me at night like this as well. So sorry you are dealing with similar sleep crap (and so many of us seem to be too) but in a way I am glad to hear tis not just D. Makes me feel a little less worried that we somehow fucked aomething up real bad and think more like "it is a phase" since all our kids are off right now. Development, leaps, teething, DST, change of season.. who knows!
