Monday Monday

The baby started fussing at 7:20, but fell asleep in my shoulder when I got him up. I thought he’d wake up in 20 minutes tops. But here we are at almost 9:20 and he’s still sleeping on me... I think I made a mistake not putting him down again.... I may be spending the rest of the morning in bed lol

Only plan for the day is my first yoga class tonight and maybe we’ll go for a walk this afternoon.

Good morning! We had a great night sleep last night with only 1 wakeup at 530 🙌🏻🙌🏻 we have H’s 2month checkup today so I hope her sleep doesn’t go to complete shit after getting her shots today. I can’t wait to see how much she weighs. She looks so huge lately! DD1 has had a runny nose the past couple days but seems to be doing better today, so I sent her to MIL’s who will take her to her swim lesson while I’m at the dr with LO.

Good morning! We have our 2 month checkup today too. I am always nervous about weight since my boobies failed me with my last two kids around this time so FX she is gaining. I am just enjoying the snuggles before our appointment.

Joel is 2 months today! He celebrated by sleeping 10-5:30a but the wouldn't go back to sleep until 8:30.hes been napping in my lap most of the morning since then with breaks to eat. I should really go get dressed but I'm enjoying baby snuggles for now.

We actually had a great sleep here too! We took N to the doctor yesterday as she started fevering after a few days of a cold (like the rest of us did, and it meant ear infection for everyone else), luckily she came back all clear so far and the dr said we could use Tylenol to lower her temperature and keep her comfortable through this. Definitely helped and we got the sleep we’ve been lacking!

Just counting down the days now..H has Good Friday off followed by all of next week for Easter break!

Hii guys!

Just realized last night I have a week off school for Easter. Yay! This will give me a chance to get ahead on my school work. I missed an assignment last night bc cluster feeding hell and MH tried to take her to bed which didn't work out well and the teacher doesn't accept late work.

We just managed a grocery run. I'm very pleased. Now to put the groceries away and get the girls down for naps! (We got CFA since my DD1 was so good in the grocery store.

Yay for all the good sleeps! We did good too with an 8-5 stretch IN the bassinet!!!

I’m really hoping to put the swing away for good when it comes to night time sleep.

I also want to redo the nursery for M and try to get him napping in there soon. He’s only 3 months but MH is a procrastinator and will probably take longer than that to get it fully done

rebeccabunch did you get the tea yet?? I need an update

Unfortunately I can not join the good sleep club! DD had her worst night yet last night. It took almost two hours to get her down, and then she just wouldn’t stay asleep. She spent most of the night in our bed and I can’t sleep deeply when she’s there. I’m very tired today!

I took both kids to get their picture with the Easter bunny today. We walked around the mall a little and then went to lunch. It was a lot to do with both kids by myself, but we made it. Now both kids are sleeping and I’m watching Netflix. Hopefully we have a better night, tomorrow we have another busy day with the baby’s one month check up.

J has been sleeping all day. He does this sometimes, sleeps all day one day then no naps for a week. Right now I'm soaking in all the snuggles while DD plays super well independently.

I do fear I've reached the end of the internet though.

DS slept 9-3 and then to 7:30. But did all his pooping at 3 so idk if he was actually hungry or could have kept sleeping lol. Anyway naps have been really good today too. We’re getting into a good routine & he takes 4 pretty regular naps (if you count the first one which is basically right after his first feeding of the day— like 7:30 and he’s up for about 30-45min and goes back to sleep). I love a predictable routine so it’s AWESOME. H has a night flight so I get to do bedtime by myself 😭

Happy Monday everyone! We had a pretty good night of sleep here too. I fed him at 11, and then he slept until 4! Then I fed him again at 7 and he went back to sleep until 9:30.

I went back to my doctor today because I have a tear that opened 2 weeks ago and I was worried about it, but she checked it again and no infection, phew. She said to give it 2 more weeks to heal- I am hoping it does heal by then because I am feeling sad about it being so long for DH and I!

t-minus 2 hours until my dinner out with a friend.... i am beyond excited and need a night out without children!

maddisonrose I can’t say for sure it’s the tea BUT she slept 10-5/6 both nights after I drank it. 🍾🍾

I kinda want to give it to her directly but I’m nervous to. Did your DS have trouble drinking it? How much did you give him?

I’ve drank two cups each night. One at 5 and one at 7. I will do this everyday until the end of time if she keeps sleeping whether it’s related or not.

My DH is home sick and I'm sitting at an auto shop with my breast milk in the fridge they have full of water in the waiting room. Soxthst is how my Monday is going.

Thank you for asking! It was sooo nice. I had my favorite prosecco and beers, great apps and dinner, and our favorite band played at the brewery. It felt really good to connect with DH too!

My sister and her husband are in Cabo with my parents this week. We’ve been joking about how I’m jealous and mad at them since they’ve been planning it, but now they are posting pictures and I AM jealous! With a small side of “you guys suck” while I wrangle my kids and look out at my snow covered yard 😭

Faith slept in the nursery all night (midnight to 8:30) with one wake up from 4:30-5:30 where she woke up hungry and her typical trick of falling asleep while eating and won't wake up until I get back into bed and then wakes up and decides to she wasn't finished. She had a good morning nap in bed with me but then had a series of cat naps (seriously, like 5 minutes at a time) all day until I laid down with her on the couch and we both napped for about 2 hours or so.

I go back to work tomorrow and this should be a pretty quiet week since I didn't have a lot going on this spring anyway and it will be slowly transitioned back to me. And for the millionth time I'm happy I work at home where I don't have to pretend to be busy if there is nothing to do. DH will be on baby duty until 4:30 when he has a meeting with a recruiter and the short time when he has a phone interview tomorrow. If it wasn't for my boss I really wouldn't mind going back a little early, but there is some bad blood there and almost every little thing she does sends me to a level 10, including a lot of things that shouldn't be anywhere near a level 10.

Tomorrow I think we're going to dye eggs with my mom. Wed or Thurs we will go visit MH at work. Fri I am hoping it stays nice because I want to do an Easter egg hunt with DD1.

How is it possible O is already one month old Wednesday???? It's not possible. And I still get so worked up when I see pics from the night she was born because I have real mom feels over missing those first few hours with her.

I'm hoping next week my mom feels up to taking a trip to KOP. I want to get See Kai Run sandals for DD1 but I want her to try them on. She's been a 7 since Nov so I'm anxious about what size to get her.

That's great news!! 

I gave it to him directly like maybe max an ounce a few bottles a day and he had no problem. I was worried about the taste but he seems to be doing fine

Our birth announcements arrived today from Shutterfly. I got 10 free cards via the app so I only had to pay shipping and saved $30, we are only sending out these 10 (1 for her baby book, grandparents and a few super close family friends) everyone else doesn't really care about an official announcement and I don't want to pay a bunch of money for the cards and postage. #cheap

Now that I see them in person I wish I had changed the font color, it is a little hard to read, but otherwise I'm really happy with how they turned out.
