Posting again because I'm miserable and need advice/hairpats
M is a serious catnapper during the day like max 40 mins. Also needs to be sleeping on me AND rocked to sleep. He wakes up happy but cries later because he's over tired. How do I break this cycle?! I can't spend all day on the couch napping with him while looking after D

amesie you are 1 of 9 kids? 😳 I can’t believe I missed that! How many boys/girls and what # are you? yup! Oldest is 39, youngest is almost 15. There’s 2 boys, 7 girls... and I’m the exact middle. Now that I have kids myself, I fully realize how insane my parents were.

Happy Birthday rebeccabunch!! That’s crazy amesie! My dad is the oldest of 8. My grandma had 8 kids in 10 years! No twins either.

There’s 1 set of twins in my family, and we’re all decently spread apart. The shortest age gap is between me and the sister older than me, we’re 2y4m apart.

maddisonrose we are in a similar boat, only catnaps and usually needs to be moving during them (though not necessarily on me, a bouncing chair or the car will work. Thank goodness he sleeps well at night. No advice, just solidarity. Someone on my prior bmb had a DD who did 30 min naps until she went down to one nap. I won't be able to handle that.

I remember now! I'm thinking about getting a new large-ish cross body bag. Something I can use while wearing DD2 when I'm running errands with both girls /etc. Diaper bag would stay in the car unless we are going into something like a house, zoo, etc but I would keep my purse on me with a diaper and a couple wipes for emergencies. Anyone have anything they LOVE? I want it to be something I can keep using after diapers. I have a VB but I'm not a HUGE fan of their patterns. If you are looking for something that's a little sportier, Kipling has great options!! They have lots of pockets and organization and are easy to clean. And Kate Spade is my go to and there are always lots of good sales!

V definitely just got through leap 1. Major nursing for two days straight then this evening after her nap, she woke up a completely different baby in terms of development. So cool, even DH noticed it. I don't follow the Wonder Weeks but I do reference it when my babies are "off" and they are almost always in a leap!

GUISE.
We had two wake ups tonight! I think. She fell asleep 9 something. I'm pretty sure this is only wake up 2. 😍😍😍 How bad is that.. I can't remember how many times I've been up.

I feel so guilty using the swing. But Liv has been fussing and won't take a nap. She's dry and not interested in nursing. And I have schoolwork to do :/ Try to release the guilt. The swing was literally the only way I finished school in January.
