Yes, it's so stressful! I was so worried taking care of the circumcision too. I think there will be a lot of penis worry in my future, ha ha. I always worried during DS’s during circ healing too. Eventually the fear does go away! And then they start playing with it! 🤪

My sister is still living in a hotel because she has no heat or running water. Her hotel has a pool and a jacuzzi. She asked me to come hang out for a bit so I’m going swimming tonight. I am waiting for G to go to bed. MH is just about done bathing her and bedtime is right afterwards. When that happens, I’m out the door.

Hey everyone. It's been a stressful day here. Transition to bottles has not been good here. DS hates the bottle. After trying a million things, we finally have gotten LO to take a few ounces from H but he screamed through it. We had our 2 month appt and LO is doing great. 12 lbs 10oz. But after the shots he has been so cranky tonight. I may give him Tylenol before bed. Anyways he's cute as can be!

I just started my first pp period. This explains my grumpiness the past few days. And I could have sworn that I had some regular tampons but all I could find were some super plus (not sure when I got those because my periods aren’t that heavy) and about 5 boxes of different pads. So DH is on his way to Walgreens now.

Maternity leave has not been good on my wallet - I have purchased way too much stuff online. I just had a Carters order delivered today and I didn't even remember placing an order there. Once I opened the package, I remembered! This is me & Carters too except I’m cheap & have it delivered to our store here for free and then it takes me a month to go pick it up so I can never remember what I’d ordered 😂 one time I shopped a little before getting my order & almost picked out an outfit for DD but decided not to. Go to the counter to get my online order & learned id already ordered that one outfit 😂😂

mrsp84 no pacifier advice since we have the same issue. I’m hoping it gets better? When that will be, I’m not sure. 🤷🏼♀️ Maybe when they can start holding it themselves which seems like years away. DS is 2mo today and the last two days really found his thumb. It only works right now if he is otherwise happy bc if he is cranky he NEEDS the paci. Have you tried other kinds? I like the Nuk ones better than those round ones bc they seem to stay in his mouth/on his face better.

Who is pumping and just chugged a glass of wine? This mama. Sick babies are needy. That's all.

sweetsurprise our little guys were the same weight at the two month appointments. It means nothing but I think it’s cute. 😊

I’ll keep trying with them though because yeah, we’re using the round ones. Good suggestion! I didn’t even think that the other brands may help stay in her mouth longer. 👍🏻

We tried the round ones with my daughter & she took them but they didn’t stay in and then I didn’t push it so she didn’t become a paci baby.

This is interesting because DD2 also has a tongue tie. I never thought that might be the issue. I’m going to start using the Nuk brand and see if that makes any difference.

I wish dd would use a paci. I’ve literally tried everything. Jollypop, soothies, nuk, mam, tommy tippee, dr.browns, and even the Walmart parents choice brand because they looked super small... and I’ve tried smaller sizes of all these as well. I have a drawer full of binkies she won’t take. She gags on all of them!! I had high hopes for the dr.browns since it’s the same nipple as her bottles and she takes a bottle fine. 🙄 weirdo. The only positive is that it’s one less habit I have to worry about breaking later down the road. And luckily she’s not a super fussy baby. But sometimes it would be really convenient to be able to give her one

I was shocked. I doubt it will be that easy with LO
