Does this district go back up for a new election in November? Yes. The district lines will be re-drawn and Conor Lamb will likely run again in a primary contest in May; that's something a friend of mine (local to the area) said is the only downside in her opinion: that this will give him momentum for that primary to defeat other, more progressive candidates. That’s what I thought. I’m happy, but my god a lot of money was spent on this race...and then to do it all again in a few months. I’ll focus on the momentum part!

But as we've talked about, I'm not sure a progressive Democrat could win there. I really don’t think one would win.

If it makes you feel better, the GOP side spent a lot more. They were even paying door-knockers because they didn't have many volunteers on the ground.
