Another fun note, our furnace broke last night so the kid and I stayed with my parents while MH tried to fix it. He thinks he was successful. I’m very tired of being an adult.

I started packing my hospital bag yesterday & by that, I mean I bought a two pack of slipper socks that were on clearance, a new train case & some toiletries and tossed them into the bag I plan on taking. I’ll be 33 weeks on Saturday & I’d like to be packed, aside from day to day things by 36/37 weeks. I need to get a move on, since I haven’t washed any of baby’s stuff.

My ultra sound went well. They didn’t find any gallstones or inflammation which is great, but brings me right back to wth is this sharp pain?? She thinks it might actually be baby bc his feet are firmly placed right in that spot. Thursday is our marathon day here so survival is the goal. Have a great day all!

I think that's part of the reason it took me so long to get mine checked/mention it. When I had the attacks while pregnant, I assumed they were baby getting into a weird position/putting pressure somewhere not fun or contractions/labor starting. Then I thought they were gas bubbles or something related to c-section recovery after. It wasn't until I called to get into my OB for some relief & his receptionist was like "that doesn't sound normal at all... have you checked your gallbladder?" that I face palmed & went to the ER.

nevertoomanyshoes I hope it works out where you can have the grandparents split the time up. My mil never tells DD no either and then comes up with crazy off the wall activities for them to do...like drawing on the windows with wet erase markers. ArielMermaid I think the universe needs to lay off you for a while. Sorry about your furnace...hope it's not too hard to get fixed.

ArielMermaid I’m sorry, FX it’s just dehydration or positioning. I know there is nothing that’ll stop you from worrying but if the MW was super worried they would be checking right away. I hope you’re feeling better soon ((Hugs)) Solidarity to all with toddles and preschoolers being a-holes. It’s a rough transition for sure. I feel like we are on the verge of another baby boom.

ArielMermaid all the hugs. I completely stopped growing at 35w-ish, which bewilders my OB. Absolutely nothing wrong with Iggy, they just get up to some shenanigans with positioning in there. I really hope you're able to get some reassurance sooner rather than later. <3

I am feeling so miserable today. I just want to sit in my bed and cry.
We were supposed to do our rescheduled only child outing today but Em woke up miserable. No fever but very, very clingy. I'm not sure we should go.
The midwife just made me make a 41w appointment.
I just feel adulted out already.
I'm sorry I'm such a Debbie downer lately.

cornpop I feel like scheduling a 41 week appointment guarantees you won’t actually end up using it. With DD I’m pretty sure I went into labor the day after scheduling an induction. The OB was kind of an ass and scheduled it early bc literally nothing was happening and it looked like I’d be pregnant forever

So. Two anecdotes make it fact! So there you go cornpop!

Thanks Leaf 🌱 and leatherpants, I like those anecdotes! I had to schedule one with my toddler so I'm not too surprised and I didn't end up needing it with her, but only by 2 days! The midwife also said to expect about the same gestation as I had with Em (40w5d) which would mean around 2 more works being pregnant which is... Not what I wanted to hear.

I’m so conflicted. I really, really want this baby out now. I’m so over being sick all the time, and now I’m adding in not being able to sleep because my back and ribs hurt so much. But I just found out that the school DD is going to next year is having a meeting for uprising Kindergarten parents the week before my scheduled eviction date. This means that I’m going to have this baby early and probably on the date of the meeting, right?

Good checkup with my OB this morning. She offered to do a check and I was tempted after how the last week has gone, but declined. I don't really want to know, since it means nothing and would just up my worrying. I'm going to make it through the next six days through sheer force of will, darn it. All the hugs, ArielMermaid and cornpop. I hope you both catch a little break soon. These last weeks of pregnancy + adulting are the worst.

I kept DD home so we could have some on one time before baby. We met my co-workers for lunch and then got our nails done. They have a kids pedicure chair and DD loved it. As anxious as I am for this baby to come I'm glad I'm getting this extra time with DD. I've been very emotional about the change that's coming lately and how she won't be my baby anymore.

Aaaaaaaand now I had pretty high BPs for my NST today. They're thinking about maybe moving up my induction. So...I'm nine kinds of terrified.
Because I have about nine more loads of laundry that need done and my coping mechanism is apparently freaking out about chores.

Dude, Rama I'm all kinds of anxious about cleaning right now. I need to vacuum and mop and cha ge the sheets and there's a sink full of dishes and my windows are streaky and, and, and. I really need this weekend to clean!

We did a ton of cleaning the past two weeks because I've been crazy about everything needs to be spotless if I go into labor. Mh thinks I'm crazy because I've been cleaning bathrooms almost daily and making sure everything is straightened up and put away before bed just in case.
Tomorrow I'm planning on washing our bedding and shampooing carpets and couches.

Dd has asked no less than 4 times if it's time to go the hospital tonight. Mostly because it means her grandpa gets to come stay with her.

My H has a man cold and won't have sex with me to try and get this baby out. I'm (possibly) irrationally annoyed by this.
I'm nauseated all the time, heartburn all the time, sinus and ear infection... But I'm sorry you have a cold.

Eek Rama! How soon would they induce you? I haven't been given a definitive on it yet, just that they might want to move it up. Currently, we're scheduled for the 29th. But depending on what my BP does, I'm fearing the "worst" and thinking it could be as early as this weekend or next week.

My ute is keeping me on my toes. Cramps and maybe-contractions basically every evening. I couldn't even sit at the dinner table tonight for more than a few minutes before I needed to move to the couch and get my feet up. I just genuinely have no idea when this will turn into the real deal. Hang in there, Rama! When do you go back for another BP check? And I'm sorry about the GBS+ bit. The antibiotics were NBD, but I'm completely with you on hating the IV.

I told my DH that my ute can't make up its mind on what it wants to do.
