Good morning. I'm reading to T's class in a few minutes then I have a dentist appointment. I just got a letter last week that my dentist retired as of 3/1 but will be there with his replacement this month. I just have a cleaning and the same hygenist is staying. He was my dentist since I was a kid. Hopefully the baby cooperates because I have no sitter today.

Morning ladies, good title today! I stayed up until almost 11 binging on Seven Seconds, I think I'm close to finishing it. guster Evie has been asking to paint her room pink too! I think this spring/summer will be time to start working on interior updates/paint for us, since we have done everything outside since we moved in. I want to have her give input on what shade of pink, but I think I'll have to narrow it down to choices for her, otherwise we will end up with a room with 4 odd shades of pink! nam2013 I'm glad everyone is finally starting to feel better at your house! Oh, yes. I'm going to give her three choices all in the very same pink family. Last week she was telling me she wanted a sort of a calypso looking pink and a bright lemonade-y yellow. Her idea was to do it in the stripes on the ceiling, and like a crazy person I was actually considering it. Lol, Evie has mentioned pink and purple. I might do one wall a different color. Even though I know paint is pretty cheap and easy, I don't get very exciting with it. We still have popcorn ceilings, I would love to scrape them, but I'd pay someone to do that for me! Probably at the bottom of the remodel list at this point.

I've seen the same dentist since I got my braces off in 8th grade (other than a couple stints when we lived elsewhere). I will be so sad when he retires. My mom started seeing him as a teenager when he was just opening his practice. I hope the new dentist is good and that baby C acts right

I'm good! Got some sleep, no changes! guster, not yet hoping the kids can visit today but Lue has been under the weather. The nurse is seeing if it's ok if she comes and wears a mask (unsure how that'd work haha) ladystrat, my water broke Sunday right at 31 weeks.

Glad you are feeling a bit better nam2013. That’s so exciting guster! Sounds like things are moving quickly! dapostrophe, we had a similar issue w wolves. I kept insisting w B that she was safe in the house, wolves lived in the cold etc, but she was still scared. flamingo, yes to a quick jaunt to Charleston. This weather here is miserable.

When we did C's room we did light blue walls, navy and white bedding. We did fun tractor sheets and prints. I think we'll switch out the sheets and prints soon. Maybe spiderman or dinosaurs.

Last thing- I left my flat iron in my SIL’s car (she drove us to the airport in MIA). She said she’d ship it back to me and still hasn’t. I’m dying here. I think I’m just going to buy a shitty cheap one at Walmart tonight. My hair is a wreck.

I'm at work and annoyed. Everything this morning was pissing me off. My clothes don't fit right, my bra doesn't fit right, H kept wiping his snot on said clothes that don't fit right, the splint I've been trying to wear more for my DR keeps folding over, M won't fucking listen to any damn thing I say and MH seems to have come to the conclusion over the last couple months he can sleep until 6:30 which allows me to get both the kids ready and out the door.

And yes, I realize I probably didn't use correct grammar. ^^
And no, I don't care.

And yes, I realize I probably didn't use correct grammar. ^^ And no, I don't care. It’s ok. I sometimes have this “I hate the world” days too. And mh seems to do the same thing: time his morning routine so that I am the only parent doing any parenting. How nice it must be to only have to get yourself ready in the morning and leisurely slip out the door!

Cadence came into my room at 4:30 this morning. "Hi, Mommy!" No. She went to the restroom and climbed into my bed and when I told her to go to sleep she said, "Oh, I thought we could watch some tv." No. She of course, slept until just before 7:30 and I was late to work because I had to brush her hair and give her her allergy medicine because mh apparently doesn't know how.

Hugs tgrimes I hate days like that. wineallthetime I’m glad you got some sleep! peachsmama I did our playroom with grey walls and then just added cute kid decor. That way when they get bigger it can transition to something else without a ton of work.

It was cheap but I have really liked it! I fried my Chi when we were in Ireland so I bought the NuMe to tide me over, and never have replaced it bc it works so well. Not sure if you have a TJ’s/HG nearby but just a thought.

Worst case, I’ll see my SIL in May, so I just have to use it til then.

That's a bad morning tgrimes. My H doesn't help with morning routine either, he gets himself ready and out the door, so I get that frustration, although I don't know how you get 2 littles ready by yourself! I hope a glass of wine is on the agenda for when you get home tonight! Sunny41 I hate when I leave my phone somewhere! I always feel like I'm going to miss something super important, although I'm not that important anyway and people can call me on my work number or email me. But I get it!

Morning, all. Not much to report here. Another busy day on the schedule. I lost three pounds in a week, so I was very pleased with that. I've been working out like a maniac, and I really watched my diet. This week hasn't been as good for what I've eaten, but I'm going to turn that around. One of my closest friends just found out she's pregnant, and since I'm the only person besides her husband who knows, I've gotten all the pictures, all the comments, etc. I haven't been handling it very well. Good job on the weight loss! So satisfying. I’m sorry about things with your friend. Does she know about your loss?

Morning Ladies! Last night My 5 y/o came in to sleep with us because he had a bad dream about an alligator loose in our house that caught him and ate him. We had a discussion at 3 am about how I would not let that happen and I would catch it and call the zoo to come get it, to get him to finally fall back to sleep. He is still asleep with H, but Evie just came downstairs and told me she had a dream about an alligator that ate her all up! They sleep in separate rooms and she has not spoken to DS yet, so what is going on with the alligator terror around here? Did you read a book or watch a show with alligators in it yesterday? Otherwise that would be a very creepy coincidence.

S/O room decor, I have no idea what to do with Evie's room once the baby moves in. She has the smallest room, and all her furniture/linens are different than the boys'. I have to somehow figure out how to use our existing crib and changing dresser (which will not match hers) and finangle the space as well. Part of me just wants to start over completely, but DH might die if I start adding furniture to the list of things we need for baby Could you paint the crib and dresser white or something to at least make it stand out less?

Definitely under $30 (bc I fully intended to buy something ‘nicer’ once I’d had a chance to research new ones). It’s been 2+ years and it’s still going strong!
