sands42 Glad you had a good appointment! Watch the side effects of the Wellbutrin. Or have you taken it before? I remember when I was pregnant, H's doctor prescribed Wellbutrin to help him stop smoking. We read the side effects and decided not to fill the script. I know easily angered and vivid dreams were two of the effects that really made us decide against. Interesting! I used to take it and didn't get any side effects other than it made me more anxious. I guess it can make anxiety worse in some people and can make you have obsessive thoughts... my obsessive thoughts happened to be about panic attacks and I would always think about them and pretty much talk myself into having one.

lfig You are my husband. He did an in-person presentation today at a client who requires a suit. He normally works from home so he was scrambling to find something last night. You are thinking way ahead though, unlike my H Enjoy your day of grooming! sands42 Glad you got your scrip finally! I'm on a low dose of Wellbutrin now, and have not been too affected by side effects so far. Good thing you are familiar with it and know how your body reacts. Hopefully, some relief is right around the corner! wedding That situation does'nt sound quite right, and probably warrants a private convo between the director and the mother. There could have been a number of reasons she removed them herself...finances come to mind. What is the reading program you are involved in?

Morning! I am sitting at Starbucks. I finally motivated myself to organize all my business expenses by promising myself a breakfast sandwich, and then I forgot my laptop power cord. Womp.
Guys, I am going crazy with my bathroom out of order! My whole room is a disaster and I can't find anything I need. Our sink came in last weekend, so hopefully H will finish it up this weekend. Also, I own way too many hair products.

wedding, do those teeth look like they still need the braces? I know sometimes they remove them and only have partials. Perhaps he said "My mom took them off", but maybe he means when the wire broke she took him to the ortho and the mom said to go ahead with taking them off if they were no longer necessary, so he views it as his mom did it. Hurts getting them off either way, I would think, but I never had braces.

wedding yeah, I'd bring it up, I tend to agree with dapostrophe . Poor kid, stuff like this breaks my heart. klong11 that crossed my mind, too (about the braces being ready to come off certain teeth). I remember when I had braces on, taking the brackets themselves (those are the individual things cemented to the teeth, right?) was a JOB, even for the ortho. I still had glue residue on my teeth a few years later--my dentist had to slowly chip away at it at each cleaning before it was finally fully gone. I'm sure technology has changed since then but I'd honestly be shocked if a parent was able to get them off, I don't even know how you would go about doing that.

This was also 27 years ago and I'm sure things have changed a lot since then. Plus I have no idea how good my memory is from that long ago! I like your explanation better than what I had in mind.

Morning. Feeling a lot better, kids are running low fevers, but nothing major. So now we’re on to the next challenge, apparently snowmaggedon is happening in Scotland almost all flights departing and arriving in Edinburgh are cancelled tonight... fingers crossed for tomorrow.

+1! I feel like that would have really hurt. why not visit the ortho if the wire broke? Money would be my guess. These kids are extremely poor.
I think someone else mentioned maybe he spoke about it with his regular reader- it was just a change from the last time we saw him two weeks ago so the wouldn't even know about it. Actually I think I had him two weeks ago as well.
We are going to reach out to the program director. Sadly, the school sucks and I don't know if anything will be done about it. One of the boys lived in his car last year.

Morning. I'm feeling a little off today, I think AF will be showing up in the next 24 hours. Totally expected but boo!
What WAS unexpected was seeing my friend C's Strava entry referencing 4 days until New Orleans. Apparently the marathon is this Sunday and she's running. And DH and I will be in town so we'll try to meet up for a meal and catch her on the course. I've know her since she was literally 6 weeks old - she grew up in my Mom's daycare and our Moms are still really close. This past Christmas Eve was actually the first one in years that our families didn't spend together, since my parents no longer have space to host. So I'm pretty psyched and DH is on board. Now I just have to get through the next few days at work!!

It is a program where we go into inner city schools once a week and read one on one with a student. They start in kindergarten and we ideally have the same kid through 5th grade. This boy started last year and we haven't had any concerns. In fact he's the only one who brings his lunch and it is usually pretty nutritious.

And there was no residue that I could see. Would you use pliers? I shudder thinking about it.

Only half of the brackets on the top row were missing so I can't imagine an ortho leaving the rest. But who knows. The teeth are nice and straight though.

Morning.
I had a rough night with M2, and ran a little late getting to work this morning. I didn't have any coffee or breakfast and I'm hungry. I'm just not in the best mood. Weekend, where are you?

Morning everyone.
The last few weeks have been crazy busy for both my H and me.
Thankfully my mom is watching M this weekend and we are getting out of town!
I plan on eating and drinking as much as possible. And parking my ass at a roulette wheel for as long as possible

Medicaid will pay for orthodontia so if he’s that low income I’m guessing that’s how it’s being taken care of.
