Because labor is hard, and it’s nice to be rested for it if you can!
I mean, don’t take sleeping aids if you don’t want. But I never understood the martyrdom of preparing yourself for lack of sleep with lack of sleep. That isn’t how sleep works...

I should’ve come in here last night, except I ended up “sleeping” in our guest room and left my phone elsewhere.

Oh. Yes. Sorry. Seven hours a night is dreamy! She’s overreacting, then. I have been contemplating a sleep aid just because my insomnia and restless legs have been super awful. But I am trying other options first. Blah.

It's not every night, just nights that I really can't afford to get a bad night's rest, but it definitely helps me to keep my day to day stuff running smoothly. I'm all about the rest.

I can fall asleep but if someone or something wakes me up? I’m up. Forever.

I can fall asleep but if someone or something wakes me up? I’m up. Forever. This is me. Falling asleep isn't usually an issue, I'm just not good at going back to sleep middle of the night. I end up being awake for 2+ hours before finally being able to settle back down...just in time for my alarm to go off.

I've been taking unisom too. Sometimes I only take half of one, but I don't sleep as well when I only take half of one. The last two nights I took a whole one...I need all the sleep I can get right now. The other night I was up from 1:30 to 4:30...ugh. I had too many thoughts going through my head.

I have been having this problem too. It has been so bad that I have been leaving extra early for work because there is no reason to lay in bed doing nothing for so many hours. I think I may ask OB for something next week.

I think I may ask OB for something next week. Same! The other morning I was awake at 3:30, tossed in the towel and got up at 4:30, did laundry, picked up the house, had coffee, straightened my hair, got DS fed and on the school bus and I still got to work a half hour early. Lol! So productive (but I was exhausted by 10 am).

I’ve been having so much trouble sleeping lately but last night was the worst. I’ve been waking up when my husband gets up for work around 3-4am and not able to fall back to sleep soundly. I used to sleep through him getting ready. I also woke up with horrible back pain. Blahhh

OMG. I took a half unisom and slept in the guest room. I had totally bananas dreams. Half of them were dreams that I was having contractions, and then I had a long emotional dream about Patrick Swayze being alive again and redoing the last dance scene from Dirty Dancing and I couldn't stop crying about it.

DS skipped a nap yesterday so he slept like shit. SO and I were both up with him twice and then I got up with him at 6:00. SO is off today so he had already asked to sleep in. When we finally woke him up at 8:30 he was pissy and couldn't stop complaining about how tired he is. So he's on my shit list today and I'm putting him to work.

WELL, it is 11:25pm and I cannot sleep. I can't think of anything except drinking water. I've been up since 6am and barely stopped moving all day, cleaning the house.
I finally allowed myself to get up and I'm drinking water, even though I'll have to pee all night. Not drinking just seemed impossible.

Pregsomnia: I've just decided to get up MOTN, instead of laying there.
I went to M when she cried MOTN, and then looked out the window and say my DAMN TRUNK LIGHT WAS ON. I meant to check for it last night because I knew the kids were playing in the back yesterday. So then I came downstairs to turn it off, and then put the laundry from the washer into the dryer and folded the stuff in the dryer. Now I just got on my laptop. I'm giving myself a deadline to go back to bed, but honestly, at least I'm DOING something.

We had my son's birthday yesterday and I was exhausted when we got home. Of course I slept for 3 hours and then the insomnia set in. I am hoping for a relatively easy day at work today.

F pregnancy insomnia. I've been up since 3.
After being in my feet for 3 hours baking and cleaning I thought I'd be out all night. Nope.
And i feel like I'm getting a cold. Womp.
