I’m tired. For the first time since sleep training, A woke up before midnight. He was up at 10:30, 11, 2, 5 & 6 last night. I finally brought him into bed at 6 so I could sleep a little longer. I’m hoping it was a fluke. I think it may has been his teeth as well.

Thanks @easilyunamused, it’s for M. It doesn’t seem red just watering with a little gunk so it’s odd. I guess it could be a blocked tear duct.
Sorry for the rough night with A ugh

jt2378 oh no! I hope she feels better soon. Do you know how they could tell? Was her eye sealed shut? I ask bc baby h has had a watery eyes with a little gunk on the side since Friday and I was debating whether I should take him in. He had it awful a month ago, both eyes sealed shut, and Dr thought it was a cold virus versus traditional pink eye.

Very watery and yellow gunk, no other symptoms but she is just getting over a cough. It started looking a little red too.

My kids at work were rough today. One of my 4 year olds refused to spit out his gum and take his meds. I had to pick him up off the floor and carry him then he spit the gum out at the nurse. Then I had 2 teachers call me to remove students from their classrooms. One was under a computer table and the other in the closet. My shoulders were already painful and today did not help.
J tried pear today. Not a fan. He ate about half a serving but wasn't impressed.

king26, sorry the kids were hard today. My good friend was a special needs teacher and I’ll extend all the grace. It’s a very rewarding, but difficult job! jt2378, you need to catch a break! I hope it clears up quickly. Are you ready for your surgery yet?

A has been a beast today. So whiny and exhausting. MH had a call last night so he only had about 2 hours sleep and we all are just a mess over here.
But now I have wine and nachos in the oven, so I’m hoping we turn this day around and all get a better nights sleep!

Sorry for such a rough Monday to you both king26 and @easilyunamused! I’m scheduled for surgery a week from today, eeeekkk 🤞🤞🤞im getting pretty nervous about recovery. I just don’t know what to expect and having 2 kids to care for. Also like how the hell did she get pinkeye? We barely have gone out anywhere and DD1 didn’t even have preschool last week.

jt2378, ahhhhhh! I hope it goes super smoothly and recovery is a breeze. Is YH able to take a day or two off following the surgery just in case? And seriously, the nachos and wine has saved the day. The ice cream I’ll have after I put A down will make it all worthwhile. Tomorrow is a new day.

J started crawling last week and my H needed a break so he took out the pen gates. J hates it! I spent half the day holding a crying baby... He gets two more days then I am over it if j doesn't adjust. My daughter was so upset she could not be near him she would try to climb in. My h is home with them tomorrow so I hope he sees the shitshow and deals with the crawling instead.

Ugh J peed through his diaper , sleeper, and sleep sack onto his crib. I just had to change him and his bed. This sucks as he is wide awake now.

We put R to sleep on her belly. When I went down at 3am to reinsert paci and pat her butt, she had rolled to her back. She was also on her back when I came down at 6am. She’s finally rolling back to her back. Its like, girl, you knew how to do this months ago. I think she’s going to be rolling around a lot on the floor now during play time.
Also, H told me a few days ago that he rolls her butt when trying to soothe her to sleep. With T we always rubbed or rolled her back. R likes her butted rolled. Thanks for telling me, dude. She’s not a horrible baby, but now I can more effectively soothe and she definitely likes it.

M was a beast going down last night. She went right to bed but woke up like 45 mins later and lost it. She then took forever to get back down. I think it was like 9:45?? Ugh. She woke at 4:00 which is typical, ate and then her usual 6:30 wake up. I at least squeak another hour out of her in my bed usually till 7:30

E and D have their 6 month appointment on Friday even though they are close to 7 months now. I'm excited to see their weight gain and other stats because if all is well, I'm pulling the pumping plug soon! I can't wait =D

The last couple nights have been hell at bedtime. I just don’t get it. I keep thinking teeth but I don’t know. Has anyone given ibuprofen yet? I know it’s safe after 6 months but I never used it on my first because Tylenol always worked fine but I have heard people say ibuprofen works better for some babies for teething.

jt2378, sorry for the rough night. Is that Motrin? I haven’t given anything but Tylenol so far, but I’m pretty sure you can give Motrin after 6 months.

Ibuprofen=Motrin=Advil We gave Ibuprofen once to the twins when they were having a particularly awful teething evening. It worked well. I still feel like Tylenol is my first line of defense, but sometimes it's not enough.
