Betweenthelines , oh jeez. yikes. We are supposed to get the worst storm of the winter on Sunday so we'll see if that comes our way too. I read 6-7 feet potentially, but forgot where. I hope not by you. Stay warm. you too! hopefully it doesn't turn out as bad as they're saying. Although I'm not sure I would hate to be forced to stay home from work. I have wine, beer, and food stocked up soo....

We're not supposed to get that much snow but more blizzard conditions all of Monday and Tuesday. That'd be perfect actually.... lol. I only say this because the storms we get don't usually mean any property damage or danger if you just stay home.

I saw OB and endocrine today. Everybody is happy with my blood glucose and nobody thinks I'm having a sumo baby. I'm already at 3cm. I know I could stay there for 3 more weeks, but that's also good news if I end up needing an induction. Some of the work is already done. 36 weeks.

shellyr good news all around! flippinchica that sounds heavenly. DH is in line for a promotion at work and if he continues to do well, they are looking to relocate us to Ottawa in about 5-10 years. I just recently started to think about how nice it would be to have patio weather for more than 3 months a year. I wish I could live somewhere warm!! or even mild.

I can't imagine CestLaVie. I would not handle that cold well. I will be bitching in August when it is 100 F here every day, though.

We were supposed to get a dumping of snow last night. I packed up hoping for a snow day. Roads were shot, but everything was fine this morning. It's only the beginning of March so there is still hope for snow days in Ontario!

So we got an email from the people who bought our house a couple weeks ago that was upsetting. They said that they had an electrician look at the wiring and they needed all of the receptacles replaced. They were ranting and accusing us of lying to them. They bought an old home without a home inspection. We gave them what info we had. Then this week their agents contacted our agent to say they were upset by the electrical situation and that if 'we didn't resolve their bill of $1800 they were taking us to small claims court because they feel they were lied to. I am so bothered by the accusations and feeling like it is an attack on our character. Our lawyer has said not to worry and have them forward any and communication to him. I'm so pissed that someone would feel entitled and expect that we would pay this. They bought an old house without an inspection not to mention they did so if their own doing, we did not negotiate their terms. This is going to bug me for a while.
Tldr, I'm annoyed by the people who bought our house, a month after we moved.

redandblue, what a mess. I'm sorry. How old is the house? We just bought an old house. We had it inspected but we've definitely still found big issues that the inspector missed...but we understood that we bought a house built in 1924 and we knew we would be finding problems.

mrspiatt where you at? Haven’t seen ya in awhile. I’m here. I was just trying to catch up when tagged me. Worm stopped sleeping at night and it’s been really hard for me to concentrate on anything. We’re doing okay though, tired, but okay.

redandblue ugh. That’s crazy. I don’t think small claims court can do anything anyway unless they could prove you knew and lied which they obviously can’t. What a headache!!

I miss good sleep. With C, he has been moaning throughout the night which makes it hard to sleep. Now K is congested so I am sure it will make tonight less than fun .

I am so fucking irritated. I have worked hard to organize the toys. I told my mom that I really didn’t want Isaac to get toys for his Birthday because he doesn’t play with what he had plus we have so many. So many. I have a giant tub that I can’t close easily because there are so many. She said ok. She was going to do an experience gift. A membership to the zoo. Two days later she calls and says she got Isaac two small toys for his birthday. She arrived yesterday and took the boys to target this morning. They each came home with a toy. Ethan with a giant Minnie Mouse phone. And now she’s acting like I’m ungrateful because she took them out for a bit this morning.
Even after I expressed my frustration and showed a bit of anger she opened the toys did them.
And his birthday party is tomorrow with family and he’s going to get more.

redandblue, that would really bother me too, but it sounds like your lawyer is right. They don’t have any standing. Try to put it out of your mind and just let him/ her handle it.

jedi, that’s annoying about the toys. Can they go back to your mom’s house for when the boys visit there? We have toys that live at Grandma and Grandpas. Otherwise, maybe after I gets all of his presents, he can choose some items to donate. I hear you on the toy clutter though. It’s a constant struggle, and people mean well but we don’t need more!

The weather yesterday was awful, but today it has really cleared up! I swam laps this morning and then did swim class with P. Then we made pumpkin chocolate chip raisin muffins (her flavor request), and now I’m going to work on some art while she watches Moana. A pretty good Saturday!

DS climbed out of the crib at nap so I guess we need to figure out a bed situation for him. Ugh.

DS climbed out of the crib at nap so I guess we need to figure out a bed situation for him. Ugh. I can sympathize. Abigail started getting out at naptime this week too but apparently she is diving out head-first while tantruming, per the nanny's report. I'm not sure what we're going to do. I don't feel ready for her to be in a toddler bed because I fear that will mean the end of naps. She only tries to get out when she's mad. We decided to try offering rewards for staying in her crib. That and we won't put her back in anymore if she gets out. She'll have to nap on the floor which I'm hoping will deter her. Did your DS climb out before falling asleep, or after he woke up?

aydee. He didn't sleep. He played in the crib for a few minutes then straddled the rail and said "I'm up really high mommy " then whined for a bit and then climbed right out. We have an extra queen bed we can just put in his floor or get a toddler bed. I'm dreading it though.

We transitioned into a single bed when we moved. It went much better than expected. Naps took longer for him to get the hang of, but now naps no problem. We have his room set up so he can't get into anything, just stuffed animals and some books. We also just put a child lock on the inside of his door. Everything has been great aside from today when he apparently took off his pants and diaper and slept naked. Woke in a puddle of pee. Lol. Good luck flippinchica and aydee.

Betweenthelines my DD saw your DDs pic on instagram and yelled in excitement: “my friend!!”. Followed quickly by “my face is the same” as she mimicked her smile haha. Too cute.
