H just napped 2.75hrs in her bed 🙌🏻 And N slept 2.5hrs which she NEVER DOES... mama’s happy!!

Does anyone know where I can find a long sleeve white bodysuit with shoulders/sleeves like this:

I don’t want the ones that have the folded overlapping shoulders like a typical bodysuit like this:

I need a white one to go under H’s Easter dress. I know Gymboree’s bodysuits typically have the puff sleeve but I didn’t see anything that would work. It doesn’t have to be plain white, it an have a design on the chest since the dress would cover it. I can’t seem to find any that don’t have the stupid folded shoulders!

I went on my first solo outing today and went to Target. It felt great to get out of the house! Last night we took DS and spent the night at my parents and my mom took him the whole night except when I had to feed him, so I got 6.5 hours of sleep. So all in all it's been a wonderful weekend!!

We went to my friends sons first bday party today. E had so much fun and it was so nice to feel normal for a while and not be miserable about being overdue.

The baby was just crying and I could not figure out why. I tried burping, changing and feeding him. Still screaming. I made his bottle warmer. He is sucking it down, happy as a clam. 😑It was warm but not warm enough. I’m not thrilled about this. G was the same way and it was torture making sure the bottles were warm everywhere we went. I have a car bottle warmer but it’s annoying.

It’s been a rough day in terms of pain from my tear. I know it’s only day three and it’s going to get better, but that’s sometimes cold comfort when I just want to sit down with my baby without it being miserable.

On the upside, I just caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and my boobs look awesome, so milk is coming in 😛

Also girlonabike I missed this the first time. I'm so sorry your mom is ill. I hope she gets better really soon esp being in the hospital, and I'm so glad you were able to have family come down to take care of her! How stressful. ❤️

7.75 hours of sleep. Insanity. She seriously naps like shit and can’t settle during the day on her own at all, but at night she’s a winner. I’ve never had a baby sleep more than 4-5 hours in the first five or six months. Favorite child status coming on.

Mamas who aren’t getting much sleep, give yourself so much grace. I didn’t realize how bad the sleep deprivation was and how much it affected me until having number four. I was so hard on myself with the first three, for so many things, but I wasn’t getting near enough sleep and it make so so much of a difference. Sleep is huge. Hugs guys.

Fine, thankfully. He woke up a few times, made some noise and went back to sleep. He woke up to eat at 6. MH took him downstairs because it seemed silly for both of us to be up.
I didn’t sleep well because I was nervous about the transition.

DH and I went to a Brazilian steakhouse last night and ate all the things. The baby was a cranky pants but took a bottle and they survived.
He then went to bed at 10 and slept until 4 and then up again at 6.

I’ve hit the stage where I wake up with a headache daily from lack of decent sleep. No matter what we plan, getting to bed early or napping never happens.

Today we need to get things in order for DS1 to go back to school tomorrow from winter break. And h needs to decide if he’s extending his leave or going back to work.

I was sterilizing the new hakka and pump parts and the old bottles and nipples.. And all the teethers. Which exploded in the boiling water. So now I get to wash it all all over again 😩😂

It’s so frustrating how easily DS sleeps if he’s being held. The second he goes down on the bassinet, no dice. The SNOO is helping, but I feel like it will be much more effective when he’s a touch older.
Last night I accidentally fell asleep holding him, and it was the longest night stretch either of us has had since he was born.

Not sure what the plan is today. DH and I were thinking of maybe going over to my parents place to get out of the house, but we shall see how energetic and adventurous we actually feel.

DDs first night went okay. I slept maybe four hours; she was awake from 11-3:00, but she slept pretty much the whole day yesterday after being born at 7:23 in the morning. Of course I didn’t nap at all during the day yesterday, so I’m tired.

Breastfeeding is going okay. She had to have formula once because of her blood sugar, but has now passed all three and I’m trying to strictly breastfeed. With DS I used a nipple shield the whole 15 months because of a lip and tongue that was noticed too late. DD doesn’t seem to have them, so I’m trying without a nipple shield but feel completely like a first timer again, and it’s a little frustrating. But she seems to be satisfied enough to sleep after which I think is good.

We are hoping to be discharged today, I don’t see a reason to stay the 48 hours as long as we are both healthy, and DS isn’t allowed at the hospital because of the flu restrictions, so I am anxious to see him and have him meet his baby sister.

Anyone with an inside baby should have their babies today so they can share a birthday with me!! It's a great day to be born.
We are headed to my grandparents so they can meet Kaleb. We were supposed to see my dad too but he flaked out as usual. More time with my mom and grandparents that means.
