Appointments: I have one on Tuesday. Only 3 more appointments after that.

Symptoms: Carpal tunnel, some hip/back pain, exhausted

I've been extra anxious lately and can't seem to get my mind to stop. I'm thinking about asking for a quick u/s next week in the hopes of seeing baby will ease my mind a bit.

Appointments: had gbs swab and positioning ultrasound last week regular checkup next week. Last Saturday we went to a birthing class and this Saturday we go to a breastfeeding class.

Symptoms: thirsty! he has punched kicked everything within reach in the last week.

Milestones: maybe he's dropped? Less heartburn and weird sensations and pressure in my pelvic region.

Rants/Raves/Vents: March Conor be next week.it needs to wait.

Baby is the size of a: I’m not sure, but she’s estimated at just under 3lbs as of this morning at the MFM.

FTM/STM/TTM/etc: third

Appointments: I had my MFM appointment this morning. She’s looking great & head down, a little over average on weight but nothing super crazy. My uterus is starting to thin & the MFM is going to push for a 37 week delivery, which would put me at an April 17th RCS day *breathes into paper bag* that seems SO close! I’m done being pregnant/uncomfortable, but not ready, if that makes sense.

Symptoms: all of them.

Milestones: she’s head down, but because RCS, it doesn’t really matter.

Rants/Raves/Vents: my brother is home, well stateside, following a year long deployment in South Korea. It was a long, worrisome year. His next station is Las Vegas.

GTKY: I used to want to be a singer, but can’t actually sing, soooooo.

Symptoms: headaches (I’m a broken record with this one), some cramping, BH, more lower back pain

Rants/Raves/Vents: I’m pretty much done with work. My head is just not here. I don’t have an end date so I’m planning to work until baby shows up or I physically can’t anymore. I have the rest of this week and all next week until my actual due date but I could very well be working the week after too that if he comes late.

GTKY: A teacher for sure. I made my younger brother play school more times than I can count. Sorry, bro.

Appointments:  Next Wednesday with my least favorite midwife.  Womp.

Symptoms:  Nausea and heartburn. 

Milestones:  I got my cord blood kit today.  And last night I threw up so much I peed all over everything.  Super glamorous, right?

Rants/Raves/Vents:  I asked my boss to WFH starting the beginning of March.  She wants to check w/ her boss but it should be okay.  I can't wait.

Rants/Raves/Vents: I've been feeling good the past two days so I've been able to get some things checked off my to do list before baby comes and I'm feeling a lot less stressed about what we need to get done before she comes.

GTKY: What did you want to be when you were small? A mom lol. I was obsessed with babies when I was younger and always volunteered to babysit my cousins.

I also used to pretend to be a singer and a dancer. I used to record myself singing and was such a nerd.

It changed sometime between July 2011 & May 2015 (when I had my first two). According to my peds office, 37-38 weeks is considered early term; 39-41 is considered full term; 42+ is late term.

Appointments: I see the OB today, have an NST tomorrow, and have a MFM appointment on Monday...I feel like I live at the hospital for NSTs or am always at the doctor.

Symptoms: nausea/gaggy, so many aches and pains that it hurts to move, my feet are swelling,

Milestones: I am at weekly appointments and almost considered full term.

Rants/Raves/Vents: I am hoping I can get through everything I want to get done at work before this baby comes. I hope my urine comes back clear of protein today. It has been a concern of mine since there was protein in my urine when I was in the ER for fluids when I had the stomach flu. I know they suspected that it was from dehydration and I really hope that was the cause of it.

GTKY: What did you want to be when you were small? I remember wanting to be a lawyer, a teacher, a veterinarian, an astronaut, and at one point a meteorologist

GTKY: What did you want to be when you were small? A dolphin trainer. I even looked into what would go into it, but it sadly wasn't a realistic option.

Rants/Raves/Vents: My NP was super great today - I like the NPs bc they give you more “off the record” advice/recs than the OBs. She told me who to see if I need a version, promised me an US at 36 weeks to confirm the baby is head down, and hinted at who will do a membrane sweep.

GTKY: What did you want to be when you were small? A pilot like my dad. My eyesight was too bad to qualify so I picked a totally different career path and then his branch of service started accepting candidate for flight school if lasik was successful the year. Of course they started doing that like the year after I made all my big decisions. Rude.

I'm in the same boat katietopaz. I only have a few weeks left of work and want to leave some things to do while I'm at home but also want to be prepared in case she comes early.

katietopaz, If I could drop everything right now and switch to any job in the world it would be to become a dolphin trainer. I love dolphins. I did the Discovery Cove experience in Orlando like 14 years ago. I would love to do something like that again.

Weeks pregnant: 37 weeks 😱 how did that happen?

Appointments: I have one tomorrow.

Symptoms: everything hurts but the back pain has been terrible the past week since I’ve been working so much. Also restless legs and arms in the evening - they hurt so much if I sit still.

Milestones: my last day of work is FRIDAY!!!!! I felt super guilty about it until I worked from home this past weekend and was in so much pain from sitting that my back spasmed for two hours straight each evening. So yeah. I’m done.

Rants/Raves/Vents:

I feel like I will finally have a birth plan tomorrow (aka I will choose the date of my RCS) and I’m super frustrated. I chose my hospital and my OB specifically bc I heard they were VBAC friendly. But I feel like everything since 31 weeks from my OB has been to push me to a RCS. She was the one that suggested a version to me as an option. When I brought it up last week (since he hasn’t budged and is still transverse) she seemed surprised and suggested it was unlikely to work but agreed to make arrangements for this week. She said someone would call with the details. No one has called. And every appointment since 32 weeks has been about how great RCS are and how I’m unlikely to be able to push the baby out. I feel like I’m being forced into the RCS bc it’s easier and that’s frustrating. I think I’d be okay with it if we tried everything and it was what I had to do. But not being given the choice and feeling like I’m being pressured into it when I’ve been explicit since my first appointment at 10 weeks is frustrating.

GTKY: What did you want to be when you were small?

I had various ones at different stages of my childhood: marine biologist, snowboarder, sports broadcaster, wildlife photographer. All totally practical.

A mom and a teacher. I did go to school for teaching but I lasted about 2 years as a substitute before it became too hard to get enough days of work.

Still feeling like a little shit about it this morning, I went out for breakfast and ordered whatever I wanted because fuck her and ended up getting a great number. Watch that, jerkface.
