You ladies must have sent some good vibes my way yesterday, bc my H said first thing when we woke up was "I don't want to do another day of not talking". I mean, hey it only took 2 days, but that's progress right? We talked a bit and decided he will prob take Evie & Theo and maybe go for the whole weekend to his parents. I like to split the kids up from time to time and it will be nice to spend some time with my older boys. I am hoping we can do something fun together to help them bond, since they have been fighting a lot lately. Plus, oldest son can babysit younger son while mama goes out to dinner and an art event with some girlfriends this weekend

Drive safe lfig , and hope your appt goes well. Keep us posted. wineallthetime I think that's pretty (the one from HD); for a specialty item like that I doubt you'll get much cheaper and you could pay *a lot* more. That will definitely grow with her, too...not too babyish/juvenile. No thanks to urban rats. DNW. dapostrophe Glad your H came around and initiated a resolution, and that you won't have to entertain MIL I never got the chance to comment but that would not have been my idea of a good time, either.

Morning. Need to catch up the last few days. O puked 3 Times last night. The first time was a lot. This is our first puking incident. How do i know if it’s a stomach bug or something he ate? He says he wants to go to school today but he also won’t eat breakfast so i can see if he’ll hold it down. What do you guys think? I think I'd keep him home today. Especially since he won't eat so you can tell if it's still going to continue today. I wouldn't want him to pass it onto other kids, or be the parent of a kid who caught it, if it is a bug. This. If it's three times, I'd suspect a big. When Dude throws up because of something he ate it's only one and done.

wineallthetime I love that chandelier for a girl's room. Can you and your H come and set up Evie and the new baby's room for me? snoopmommymom Sorry you guys have the barfs over there. I would keep him home too, but I have nightmare visions of my kids being the ones to puke at school, so I'm probably over cautious. tallb Of things I do not miss about the city...rat sightings is near the top. Gross. I'll send MH right over! He will have extremely firm feelings on very random things that will not be negotiable, so hopefully that's ok

Morning! B has school and sports today so MMCH is on while C plays and I'm trying to do some tidying up. We did stop at the post office after drop-off and mall MIL's birthday gift, so that is one thing off my to-do list (I'll be accepting my DIL of the Year trophy now, please and thank you )

Morning! I slept like crap last night and woke up with a bit of a stomach ache. Hopefully it’s nothing.
I just snuck out of work to the salon next door for a bikini wax. Fun stuff!

And now no one can see their bonus anymore. I'm guessing accidentally showing the info before the amounts were communicated probably caused widespread panic.

Clutching my pearls over all this hatred for rats. Harumph. Goldi....city rats. Not cute, fancy pet rats. Disease ridden, aggressive, ginormous city rats. The ones that eat small dogs and old ladies...at least in my mind.

yummeecookee I agree with whoever said you should get some free babysitting out of the beach house deal. St Augustine is fun, we got down there once a month or so for dinner, etc. when we lived in Jax. Happy to provide some restaurant recs, etc. as you get closer to your trip if you need them June shouldn't be *too* bad--I mean, it'll be hot, but not as bad as July-September, IMO anyway!

Actually yes flamingo, that would be awesome if you could offer suggestions. Especially anywhere cool we could go grab a drink w my BIL and SIL. I’ve been to St Augustine a few times but only as day trips. I’ll msg you when the time comes.

If it was what I was expecting I was going to pass out..there were kids PLAYING with the truck it was under when a kid noticed the tail and the student aides were like um, time to find something else to play with. There is a dumpster on the other side of the wall of the playground, which clearly needs to be moved.

mamabear I wouldn't be too worried but I would maybe let the office know so that the nurse could be talked to.

Morning again! I'm having a worry I'm pretty sure is mostly anxiety induced but would love your ladies feedback. Today at A's appt they did a finger prick to check iron levels. I don't know why i didn't say something at the time but the nurse did not wear gloves. How concerned should I be about a health risk? She was wiggling her fingers so I'm sure she contacted the nurses fingers too. Am i being crazy? I honestly can't think if the nurses wear gloves for shots and blood draws in the past, I'm leaning toward not? I wouldn't over think it since she probably had clean hands.

This made me think of N13: two of our favorite topics in one! For some reason photos won't work for me at all anymore on my work computer (I attempted but failed to spam cute rat photos) but I saw a similar great "hack" meme about how you can safely sneak a Snickers bar into the movie theater by just putting it in an empty slot for a gun magazine.

I’m assuming she at least used hand sanitizer at the minimum. At my hospital that would be a big no-no.

trtlcrzy have you used that sleeping mask that you got with your last Sephora purchase? I tried a new one from Pacifica and I liked it a lot. Probably a little better than my CosRx rice sleeping mask.

I’ve kind of been all over the place lately. A while ago I used the Korres wild rose sleeping facial and I really like that. Not sure if it’s vegan. m.sephora.com/product/wild-rose-vitamin-c-advanced-brightening-sleeping-facial-P306883ETA: looks like that one maybe isn’t vegan, the black pine one is.

I have seen a few times where the nurse/phlebotomist will rip off one finger tip of the glove so it's easier to feel for a vein or whatever. As long as I saw her wash her hands/sanitize and there were no open cuts and such on her hands, I wouldn't really worry about it too much.
