+1 to not being sure of a boy. I’m still not. Dh and are tackling a lot of baby projects this weekend bc I’ve been in complete denial and done NOTHING to get ready for him. 😞 genuinely hoping I’m more excited when he arrives bc right now it’s kind of a problem. I was scared I would have felt this way if DD3 had been a boy. I think it's normal, and I'm sure you'll be head over heels once he's actually here. But even if it takes a bit for you to bond, that's ok too. I don't know how it was for you, but I felt like it took me a while to bond with DD3 because I was still so busy with DDs 1+2 and DD3 just kind of was this little one that came along everywhere and had to eat a lot. It wasn't until she got more of a personality that I felt like I connected more. I actually had a really hard time with dd2. In retrospect I’m pretty sure there was some ppd happening. I did not experience that with dd3 and I’m concerned it may be back with ds.

dizzycooks I am assuming you have already set up a support system/have a plan if you feel like the ppd is becoming a thing. Know we are here. Not to be overly dramatic since you haven't asked for support but just know we are here. 😊

kcrkcs, get and stay healthy, lady. It's really hard this winter. I can't believe all the stuff that's going around. DD3 needed 3 (!) rounds of antibiotics, and it has been 4 days since her last dose of round #3. With rounds 1-2 it lasted 4 days and then flared up again, so I'm waiting with bated breath today and tomorrow to see whether she actually stays healthy.
