George and Amal Clooney named their twins Ella and Alexander. Nice. I love it when celebrities name their kids normal names instead of fruit or directions. Um. I think you are supposed to be working on your inbox, not looking up celebrity gossip. LOL. 53. I think that's as low and I can go right now.

My husband and 3yo are arguing about what to dress up for for Halloween... It's June. It's going to be a long summer.

Here's a random GTKM: So last year I didn't text my dad "Happy Father's Day" until later in the day, probably 8:00pm because we were at the lake with my SIL because that's what my H (a father) wanted to do and didn't get back until later. My dad and I are not very close. We don't butt heads or anything, I've just always felt like he didn't give a shit about me growing up- it was always about my older brother (really, it's totally ok- I'm so used to it). Well, he responded "A little late, but thanks." I wasn't sure how to respond, and from what I remember, I didn't respond at all to that. Like, ok. Well it's my birthday today, and I have not heard from my dad. Part of me wants to respond with something snarky if he doesn't send me anything until later tonight. He used to forget my birthday ALL the time. When my parents got divorced (I was 21 I think) and he started dating again, he forgot my birthday completely, and gave me a belated birthday card a week later. He's not really one to talk. So...I'm totally bitchy and am preparing to be full of snark. I'll chicken out because I don't want to cause waves (which is totally unlike me), but I'm ready.

I tried really hard to talk my DH into making our kitchen cabinets and sink higher. I'm 6' and my back gets sore if I'm working in the kitchen very long. My artwork is hung higher then most people's eye level, but... I'm the one looking at it every day.

nenarene, i love that you are invested in mamallama's email. i also, didn't type i love you to begin with by accident. nope didn't do it. Oh and my lil sister has over a thousand unread emails on her phone. all.the.time. it makes my skin itch when i see it. i have been known to go into her emails while we sit there and start deleting the junk email sitting in her inbox. that is until she realizes what i am doing and takes her phone back.

DD has her first hair cut scheduled for Thursday at 9:30! I think I will wait to tell her on Thursday and surprise her when I drop DS off at daycare and not her. How cute! Can't wait to do stuff like this for Ava! I'm guessing your BF will be there since you waited for him to do it?

DD is adamant that she's going to be a cowgirl (this was last year's costume), with DS as her cow, baby 3 as a horse, and DH as a cowboy. DH wants them to be Ninja turtles. So far, DD is not remotely interested in his suggestion.

RunsforWineandCarbs, mmm kale enchiladas sound delicious. Do you not like kale, or were spinach and chicken just what you had? I put kale in my cheese quesadillas and it is sooo good.

Today is turning out to be such a lazy day. I have no motivation for anything and I'm so tired. I need to clean the kitchen, move the laundry, put dinner in the crockpot, pick up the house, finish meal planning for the month, make a grocery list, go to Costco and the regular store.....and yet here I lay, wasting precious nap time.

also, booarogue, here's your salad shot for the day. That reminds me— I meant to tell booarogue about the amazing salad I made for dinner last night! It was inspired by the insides of a summer roll— lettuce, mint, cilantro, serrano, cucumbers, avocado, grape tomatoes, tofu and crushed Thai lime almonds. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

CestLaVie, well i like to think i'm closer to 5'5" or 5'6" but i'm not. just average. I mean, people always tell me I look taller than 5'4"...closer to 5'6" or 7". We even got out a measuring stick at work to double check once. And when I wear heels that adds a good 4". So yeah, basically I'm 5'10". I have the opposite— I'm about 5'8," but I rarely wear heels, and so many women do that people always guess that I'm shorter.

I was looking over the shoulder of a coworker who wanted to show me an email. She had 10,000 unread emails.
That is not a typo. Ten Thousand.

I like salads, but only if they have a lot of fat on them. Caesar or ranch dressing, avocado, tofu or fake chicken or fake bacon, croutons, cheese, hard boiled egg. MMMMM. I really never crave a super healthy salad, like with a lighter dressing and mostly vegetables , but I will tolerate it.

True story- when I was 12, my doctor mentioned she didn't think I would grow anymore.
I cried so hard when I got home. I wanted to be 5'5.
