For our fresh 48 in the hospital I think this is what I’ve settled on-  Does the shirt H “go” or is it too bright? I can’t decide🤔 |

Yes. I need help with this. We are doing newborn pics at home, a few posed pics of baby but more of a lifestyle session. I bought these 3 tops (which I hope will fit) and I’m trying to figure out something for H. He’s super casual so I’m thinking maybe a shirt like this? I’m pretty sure I want that dusty blue color or navy. Maybe just a crew neck t-shirt?  Baby will be wrapped in white/gray swaddles or my gray solly wrap which looks just like the one in mrsmonogrammed’s pic. Or whatever neutral props the photographer brings. We also have this blanket that I’d like to incorporate into some pics, not that pose though.  |

clementine are you due March or April? If March I would go long sleeves, April when it’s a bit more spring/warmer, I would look for short sleeves. I like the color palate you’re working with😊

mrsmonogrammed I would see if I could find a patterned bow that incorporates the peach/coral color. I loooooove the outfits and might have to a total copy cat. We have a fresh48 scheduled and then I panicked and scheduled a maternity session as well. (Our photographer is new so the prices are dirt cheap and I figured I’d rather spend a little extra money rather than regret not doing something for our last pregnancy. This is also why I scheduled a boutique US for next week - this baby never got any 3D or decent profile pictures and I feel badly 😂). I have no idea what to wear for any of it. The maternrunsession will be outdoors and the weather is not exactly predictable this time of year.

clementine, what about a henley style tee? It’d look a little nicer than a plain tee shirt, but still fairly casual & comfy. They’re my casual comfort loving H’s go to for when he wants to look nice, but not button up/suit nice, if that makes sense?

For our family/newborn pics, I'm going with coral, greys, and creams for our color scheme. I bought my girls dresses (super casual) already and a few outfits for the new baby. I haven't decided on anything for the rest of us. I'll post pics in a bit of what I have so far.

Eh...hmm didn't even think about this. Our newborn photog usually recommends either white or black shirts for the parents. For the fresh 48....black as well. haha. I felt so frumpy post birth last time so whatever hides that. I do have a cute robe with matching pants so maybe that?   |

I love the idea of coordinating everything for photos, but in reality we just pull things out of our closet that seem to somewhat go together lol. For my maternity photos next week I'm wearing a Coral sweater with black jeans and black ankle boots, my H is wearing a dark grey sweater with regular jeans, and my son is wearing a light grey sweater with jeans.
For the newborn photos I'm not sure yet.

Leaf 🌱 I’m just waiting for my favorite bow shop to drop their spring line to see if they have anything to match🤗 hoping for a nice coral floral🤞🏻 I don’t usually go with bright colors for photos so I was surpirsed with how much I liked this color scheme! Lmk if you need any shop info:)

My photographer friend recommends neutrals and more saturated jewel tones, and try to keep the patterns small or minimal (on one person).
She's coming over on Sunday and taking some maternity photos of me with my chickens, lol! I need to plan what to wear.

I need help with this because I have no clue what any of us are wearing. We are doing newborn and family photos at a studio. She said don't worry about getting an outfit for the baby because she has wraps and other outfits for her. I can't decide if I want to use option 1 or 2 of this color scheme for Mh, DD1, and I. And I also have the big sister/little sister shirts I want to use for part of their sibling session.   |

cp3 I like the coral, dusty rose, and gray from option 1 and then I’d add the grayish blue and lighter brown from option 2. That is probably more complicated than helpful. Or maybe add in the middle green color from option 3 since it goes with the sister shirts you have?

I may take her up on that, even though pics of just the baby and us aren't really what I was after. |
