Feeling especially big on this Fat Tuesday!
What are you ladies up to? Anyone giving anything up for Lent this year? Any plans for the long weekend ahead?

DD woke up complaining her tummy hurt and she threw up stomach juice so this doesn’t bode well for the rest of the day. I set up a spot for her on the couch so I can be close to her. I guess DS will spend the day in my room and DD in the LR.

I hope C feels better soon and the baby doesn’t catch it.

We are on the couch watching the little mermaid. G is still sick so I kept her home again from school. If she isn’t better by tomorrow I will take her to the Dr.

No Lent plans here yet. Last year, we picked up litter at least once a week on our walking trail but I don't think we'll be doing long walks this year. I liked that bc it was something the whole family could do together and was something we all felt good about (even DH who is completely not religious!). Are preg/nursing moms exempt from some observations (like no meat on Fridays)? Although I have no problem eating meatless, I just feel like I remember that being a thing.

Morning!! My dad and Grandma are bringing lunch over and valentine’s for the kids today. So that will be nice. Then the grocery store is doing valentine’s crafts and treats later this afternoon. So that is my goal today! Get all 3 kids ready and there on my own. Lol! I’d go get the mail and maybe other random errands if we are out and about too.
Have a good one!

Anyone else get weird itchy spots/random rashes after delivery? I don't know if it's from the epi or it is hormones or what!

My goal today is shower and change the sheets on my bed. I also want to do a valentines craft with all the girls after school, but uh, me vs 4 with crafting supplies might be a bad idea.
Unrelated i was looking at Timehop. Why did I post the DUMBEST Facebook statuses back in the day? Anyone else? Like why the hell did I post that I was eating a cupcake? Nobody cares. 😂

I wanted to go out for donuts but E isn't listening and I'm not in the mood to man handle a toddler at 39w pregnant. So staying home it is. She's building with her Duplos right now.
How do you all shower during the day with your older LOs? I'm struggling bc mine likes to shower with me and get into everything.

Same thing happened after I had G. It’s drives me batty. I think it’s finally starting to calm down and not be as bad as it was.

No matter what time she wakes up, I don’t go in her room to get her before 7. I usually shower sometime between 6:15 and 6:45. It all depends on when the baby is due to have a bottle too. Then I am dressed and ready by the time I go in her room to get her.

I get so embarrassed with FB memories with the dumbest shit I used to post about. Most of it is me bitching about nursing school on repeat.

I either shower at night when MH is Home or in the morning only if he’s home. Last week I showered during nap time. That was a nice treat

We have Ds2’s pediatrician appointment this afternoon and need to get a hand pump for me and some more newborn clothes since he’s much smaller than his brother. H has errands he wants to run too. I’m hoping not to over do it.

Typically before that I would get up when h did so that I could have time but if it didn’t happen it waited until night time.

Pre-baby I had gotten into a good routine of showering when the kids were having their afternoon “quiet time”, but N doesn’t respect the rules of quiet time yet 😉 so I’m generally back to evenings when H is home.

So C has a fever, a little cough & she says everything hurts. I really hope she doesn’t have the flu. 😭 thankfully DS is being sweet and not needy today so he has spent the whole morning in my room in the PNP while I camp out with DD on the couch. Poor girl is sooo stubborn, she will NOT lay down and she refuses to accept she is sick lol. I’m like “do you feel yucky?” “Yes.” “Well that is what sick means” hahaha

But sick toddler means no donuts for me lol. Also I shower in the AM after DS is awake. He sits in the bouncer in the bathroom and DD is in the living room or her room doing whatever the hell she wants lol. Our house is pretty “kid proof” as it is and she isn’t a very destructive personality anyway so I trust her not to tear apart the house. I don’t trust her not to mess with the baby though haha. She likes to shower w me too so sometimes we do that.

I hope everyone’s kids feel better soon!
Heading into work this afternoon to held my staff prepare for Valentine’s Day. It’s probably our busiest day of the year at the bakery. I’ll be going back in tomorrow. I’m taking the baby with me and hoping to time it when he’s sleeping. It worked out last time I went.
Then to my parents’ for Pancake Tuesday. My dad makes pancakes every year for dinner and I typically go. I’m sure some of my brothers and their families will show up as well. It’s nice that everyone lives in town and all the little kids get to see their cousins often.

DD went down for a nap at 11:30. 😳 she usually doesn’t nap until 1!! And she already took a catnap on the couch earlier while I did yoga. I hope she naps for a long time. I set her clock for like 4 hours haha but told her she can come out anytime to get me if she doesn’t feel well or needs to throw up.

J is so fussy today - he won't settle. I think he is struggling to poop and is overtired. It is making for a long day.....
