When is your due date? How far along are you? Edd is September 19 and I'm 8w5d How big is baby? Pygmy seahorse Team Pink/blue/green/don't know? Don't know, must know! Any Upcoming Appointments? Pap smear and blood work this week. Symptoms: Nausea, tons of food aversions and the tenderest of nipples, also so much gas.  Milestones: Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? I'm dying for an US. I have it scheduled March 2 but that's so far from now! I've just been somuch sicker and blah feeling this time that I'm nervous it is twins. It's probably just in my head and it's just because it's my third baby. I'm normally not an anxious pregnant woman, hutrhis has got me on pins and needles. I guess because I always had a scan at 7 or 8 weeks for my previous pregnancies. |

Symptoms: Feeling pretty good, just tender breasts for the most part.
Milestones:
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? I'm just trying to stay calm. I just have a fear of walking into my appointment next week only to leave in disappointment. I used the rest of my test stash last night so that I wouldn't be tempted to test anymore. The FRER had a nice line and the wondfo (which gave me a lighter line yesterday) gave a darker line than the morning test. Today I'm pregnant and that's all I need to know.

Beta #3 tomorrow morning Symptoms: Nausea and exhaustion have arrived! But may be due to the Endometrin suppositories the RE has me on. Boobies are boobly. And sore. Milestones: Had a repeat beta that, while still on the very low end, showed a fabulous doubling time (35 hours)! Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? DH is treating me like a princess and it's awesome. I am not one to let others take care of me but he really makes it clear that he's happy to help. Spent Sunday resting for the most part. Also...we told my parents, brother, and sister with cute/funny Valentine's cards. Had to tell because we had to ask for help shoveling (DH has had several back surgeries and can't, I was spotting so need to take it easy) and I knew they would guess! Mom and sis were squeally, dad and bro were quiet and happily teary...couldn't have gone better.  |

ftwr It's a great idea to use up those tests! Saying a prayer that everything is perfect at your appt. @holliberry That does sound stressful! Maybe it could help to think about how both of those antibiotic preparations are just topical, not at all the same as taking pills? blurnette989 That's a long wait! Hope it goes quickly and you are able to enjoy.

Symptoms: Nausea, sore and swollen gums, tired, hungry, very bloated, some meat and food aversions Milestones: Rants/Raves/AW/Questions: Worried about what my weight will be on Thursday and hoping I don’t get too much of a lecture. Still not finding babe on doppler at home, so that has me annoyed more so than anything, but not panicked.

I'm annoyed by not being able to find the baby on the doppler too mirabelle. I'm not worried and realistically know that it may not be for a while but I keep trying anyway lol |

Any Upcoming Appointments? OB/medical history with the nurse tomorrow, we should schedule my NT scan while I'm there so after tomorrow I should know when my first u/s will be
Symptoms: Fatigue, morning sickness - I feel exceptionally crappy today, usually my nausea is gone by now but I'm considering bailing on work

OB appointment next wed. NT scan 3/7 Symptoms: yesterday I felt pretty good, but still tired and boobs are sore. This morning I woke up with the starts of a cold or the flu and threw up numerous times Milestones: Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? I really hope I don't have the flu! I'm staying home from school today to hopefully get better faster but usually when I get sick, I'm super sick for almost a week. Blah! |

Friday to go over my ultrasound results - next Wednesday is my first appointment with the midwives
Symptoms:
Sensitive nipples, heartburn, nausea, tired

AW: we had our dating ultrasound on Friday and the tech said I was measuring 8w4d which moved our edd to Sept 17th from Sept 25th. We got to see the little peanut and a strong heartbeat which was a first since our first u/s with DS was 21weeks.

ftwr I've been feeling really nervous too. Any time I feel ok I start spiraling. I don't have a doppler but I think I make have to get one to hopefully get some peace of mind. If you get one, don't be discouraged if you can't find the HB right away. I've ready varying times about when you can find the HB. I'm a little fluffy to so I'm sure that's not helping, not to mention I'm only 9 weeks and baby is likely still down under my pubic bone. |

blurnette989 -- i've had way more symptoms this time around than the last 2 and I worried about multiples but nope, just one so I don't think it necessarily means anything! Did they say why no sooner appts? It would seem odd that you'd be going in at this point in the past but not this time? @holliberry -- just playing devil's advocate here. a LOT of women don't even know they're pregnant yet so I'd imagine the meds are fine. I mean, I'm pretty darn sure I was still drinking more with DD at 4w. And I did with this one too. ha!

Symptoms: off and on nausea, usually after I eat or if I drink water too quickly. I normally hate sparkling water but it's been my friend the last week and a half haha. Apparently I'm wanting sweet stuff now. I normally don't like sweets hahaha.

and i remembered my question! hahahaha.
Since I'm old, the additional chromosomal testing is covered by insurance for me. But I can't for the life of me remember when I'm supposed to be doing that. For some reason, I swear I did it before 12w with DS because 12w is when they do the NT scan right? I can't keep track of anything anymore.....

flyliceandcoffee - If you're talking MaterniT21, Counsyl, or Harmony, etc I believe those are supposed to be done around the 10-12 week range.

flyliceandcoffee the difference in us appts is because my first two kids were in the States and I had dating ultrasounds. Here because I'm low risk they don't bother with just a dating us and just wait until 11-13 weeks we can do not testing which is apparently standard here in Portugal. So just different standards of care. Sucks though! I want to see my baby!

Yes! Dating ultrasound is on Wednesday. I’m so nervous and so excited, lots of big feelings.
Symptoms:
Nausea and EXHAUSTION. I don’t remember being this tired with DD.
Milestones:
If we see a HB on Wednesday that will be a mini milestone. Big milestone will be making it past 1st tri, all my losses happened between 9-11 weeks so I’m gritting my teeth through these next few weeks.

We told our parents this week, which felt really good.

We probably won’t get the chromosomal testing because it’s not covered unless there’s a problem on the NT scan. Seems like a pretty foolproof way to find out the gender if you do decide to find out! We were team green last time and liked it but will find out this time. |

shawnspencer I have also been getting worried every time I'm slightly less nauseous or tired...had quite a few appts with Dr. Google about it and basically I came away with the idea that it is totally normal. pixiepink24 Yay for no bleeding! chriskoo Saying a prayer for a perfect heartbeat, and that the next couple weeks go quickly and easily for you! blurnette989 Ahhh Portugal. I've been curious from your posts. I lived abroad for 3 years and totally understand the challenge - and victory - of recreating favorite foods from home, lol. I hope the time until your first scan goes quick! Also, lol about the gas. DH and I are rather newly married and I don't know that I have admitted to ever having gas yet...but I was definitely experiencing it this weekend! Pregnancy is so classy. cheeksmum Yay for a great u/s and heartbeat! So glad you got to have that u/s this time around. brenna I'm so sorry. Get well soon!
