more bad news in the life of BTL.. But this is about the house we're buying.. I just can't with life today. I'm ready to find a corner and cry. Oh no what happened? The house we are buying failed inspection because this builder is taking his sweet ass time with things that the inspector wanted done/fixed and he didn't do it in time.. H is in the industry, so his assistant has been calling the town and inquiring on the status of the permit on the house and just found all this out this morning.. The buyers of our house are getting antsy to close and move (which is understandable.)

CestLaVie - They didn't file a complaint with the police department, just asked them to write a bar letter. So everything was done internally with the center so he doesn't know. If it was a true abuse situation, I feel like any parent who had a child in his care should be aware.

jedi, I have a tool for folks who have lots of suggestions on how to do things. Notably, when it adds to my work load. I put them in charge of it. She wants the full ingredient list for the pizza place? Great! Would you please call and get it? We would love to share with other members. They get what they want and you don't have to do it. But, yeah, she sounds terrible.

Betweenthelines, I'm so sorry you are having a no good very bad Tuesday. For what its worth, I would pull my kids too if one of them got MRSA. And I would follow up with a call to their licensing specialist as well.

fierymama, I would think if it was a true abuse allegation, the police would be investigating it not just writing him a letter. The day care workers would be considered mandated reporters so if they suspected abuse, then they would be required by law to report it.

My source says it was handled by the administration and police weren't involved. I don't know what to think. I am letting it consume me today. 😔

Again, I have no clue what happened and I wonder if ANY parent knows he was terminated or the reason. I feel if it wasn't reported to the police, it had to be something a parent would do (not abuse) that the administration didn't like. I don't know. I am going crazy over here.

That mom in your group is OTT, jedi. I mean, pizza dough is flour (wheat or gf), water, yeast and sugar. If here is an egg or a nut issue in addition to the gluten, then she should be familiar with calling places on her own and finding out their gf ingredients, and their cross contamination measures, if any. Sauce is olive oil, tomato, probably garlic and onions, some herbs, salt, maybe a touch of sugar. They can do a pizza with no cheese if they want no dairy. These things are pretty standard.

Sounds awful As a standalone thing I wouldn't pull my kid for getting MRSA because it is quite contagious and hard to prevent transmission but it sounds like it is the last straw. It stands for methicillin resistant staph aureus. Staph is all Over the place and the resistant strains is pretty common now. It causes skin and soft tissue infections.

There have just been things building lately that have been frustrating us.. this is just helping me make my decision.

fierymama I understand. When s1 was like 6 months we found out a teacher was not longer working there. We got no explanation. Rumor was she was let go because she gave someone the wrong breast milk but we were never told the reason.

She certainly is. She had all of her kids take a blood test to find sensitivities. For example, one of her kids is sensitive to Green beans. There’s a whole list of things one kid can have that the others can’t. Seems like so much work. I mean I remember her mentioning she feeds them chicken broth because of some of their protein sensitivities. It’s strange to be that all 3 kids have food issues. Weird right?

Sounds like the end is near for the “adopted” aunt I have. The immediate family was called.

That does sound like a lot of work. Also, I thought that blood tests were notoriously inaccurate for determining food allergies/ sensitivities– like 50% false positives rates or something similar. It sounds like this mother may be projecting some of her own issues onto her kids.

My DS had milk put in his cereal instead of formula before he was 1 and I got an apology, but I know the person who did it wasn't fired. Seems like it would be a lesson to be learned, but not worth firing her over it. 🤷🏼♀️

He also didn’t like the valentine’s that I spent an hour making this morning. Why? Because he can’t give one to himself. Hey aydee your child has the same name right? Want 20 valentine’s?
