So the butt Dr no longer things Botox is going to work for me and thinks surgery is best. I am hesitant because surgery before was the worst pain ever and a two week recovery. We made an appointment for his first available (next Wednesday) to recheck and discuss. He's the best assman in the area so it's hard to get in. What is even my life?!

klong11 how do you feel lately? Are you doing much better since you've been watching your Vitamin D? Most days I'm dragging ass, but then come bedtime I'm struck with the inability to fall asleep. I should really look into melatonin for myself. Physically, I'm ok most of the time. I have headaches and muscle aches and pains daily, but I can tolerate them for the most part. I had a few days where I couldn't lift my leg at all. Cadence was putting my socks on for me. I think I had overworked and pulled a muscle though and like I said, it only lasted a few days and then was gone. My eye doctor was talking to me about family history and suggested I go and get a CT scan of my brain now that strokes is added to both sides of my family history, so just another thing to stress about. Oh and my mother told me to add uterine cancer to that list as both my grandmother and now my aunt had/have it. WTF? Overall I'm doing ok. Probably a much longer/rambling answer then you were looking for. LOL

Same. wedding - You are at least outwardly doing a pretty amazing job of trying to see the humor in this. Or at least not totally letting it bog you down. Please let us know if there's anything we can do. We're practically magic here and all.

One of my friends is in the beginning phases of working on a possible movie project. It's a military-themed movie so he's been calling me for advice to bounce ideas off of and flush out some of his characters and build their personalities and back stories. I told him if his project gets the green light he has to promise to try to cast Thor and arrange for me to meet him. I'd just want an opportunity to stare at him and maybe touch a bicep.

I came home just before lunch because I couldn't stop sneezing and didn't want a snissing incident at work. I've been blowing my nose all day too. Then I started catching up on season 1 of This Is Us and I was crying and congested.

Sunny41, I'm not a Trekie but MH is. I don't know if he's watched the new series yet. I like to vex him by doing things like purposefully saying "Star Wars" when I mean "Star Trek" and vice versa. I also say things like "Jo-Jo Beans (Jar Jar Binks) is the best Star Trek character." My knowledge of Star Trek pretty much is limited to the Tribbles, the recent movies (which I really enjoyed), that there is a whale in space or sumshit, and that my hero, Sam Beckett from Quantum Leap (Scott Bakula) was once one of the captains.

The longer its in the more it is. B and C are within $100 of each other. A is $1,000 less than the other 2. I wish they would let us have more choice in the matter but we don't get much. And honestly, it's so much more than I was expecting that I'm not complaining to them. I just want to know how much lee way I have later on so I don't make the wrong choice for him. If I choose C and then he's on track for a 4 year degree, then I want to be able to switch. ETA: and all interest is paid to him. No matter what option we choose. So these are guaranteed minimums but it could be higher depending on how rates go. could the payouts be in a trust to him that you control? So you don't have to worry about him not being mature enough at 18? Then you can put it towards college, or invest it or whatever? No. They will not ever release it to a parent or relative. I asked.

Came home to no power. It just came back on and thank God. It was getting cold in here. Only 20 degrees outside. Of course it came back on after I had dug out all the lanterns and got the boys set up with cereal and ham and cheese rolls. So now I don't feel like cooking dinner or doing anything. I need to force myself to work out because I couldn't last night with running Jack to Urgent Care. A won't be home until late so I'm solo all night.

peachsmama I'm not sure what the amount is but if you intend it to be used for college I would check how much college costs these days and expect inflation. I see why it would be weird that only be had the money but I would also think it's the same as him getting a settlement for something that happened after he turned 18.

I'm sure by the time our kids are in college there will be plenty of publicly funded opportunities available to them. *laughs/cries knowing this will never happen*

Thanks guys. I'm trying to see the humor in it because how can't you. Just taking it day by day.
In other news we had Cs parent/teacher conference. It went pretty good. He's doing great with writing, art, journaling and math. Not great at keeping his hands to himself but always has a reason. He just needs to tell his friend he doesn't want to play vs pushing them. We also found out that the kid who was a huge troublemaker is no longer going there. Which is such a relief because C would mimic what he would do and join in on his bad ideas. So overall good and nothing we didn't know.

Went to the kidney guy today (not as cool as assman). Bloodwork was all good, stones were calcium. The things that look like stones on my kidneys are called Randall's Plaque and are also calcium based and may cause more stones in the future. Have to do a 24 hour urine test end of next week when the kidneys have recovered more from surgery and have a baseline ultrasound because the Randall's plaque will look like stones so they need something to compare to in the future. After that we will discuss dietary changes and preventative medicine options. He said not to make any diet changes until the next test so I baked a cake so I can continue eating like a pregnant lady for a few more weeks. I'm sure the meds won't be an option with breastfeeding nor do I want to be on any meds forever so hopefully diet will work.

Aaaand another one bites the dust. I knew they checked Chase's temp a bunch this afternoon because he was coughing through nap and was acting off after, but it was never more than 99.9. It was 101.2 before bed and I think it was a bad read, I would have guessed a bit higher. I'm not sure Me. Mancold is going to be able to handle his own illness and a sick kid, so I may need yet another day home to get Chase checked out. I almost want him to just have the damn flu so we can just be done with it. I'm pretty sure that makes me a terrible Mom.
And DH didn't leave the room all agreed day. He texted me a few times to bring him something up, which was fine - he looked so pathetic that I offered. But c'mon, this is my 2nd lung infection in 15 months and I've never been so helpless. I mean, I would have LOVED to be, but he certainly never encouraged it. Sigh...
He really does need to get better though, we've got plans for his birthday on Saturday!!

joelies the man illness is the worst. I’m sorry about chase. kim22 I’m glad I’m not the only one still eating like a pregnant woman... I’m blaming it on breastfeeding hunger. Lucas is coughing and snotty. No fever or anything but it’s making me paranoid with the baby. I’m usually pretty breezy in terms of germs and letting kids be exposed to a certain point but this flu season is freaking me out.
