Rama have you taken a birth class? 1. How far are you now? 19+1 2. Symptom check: Same plus heartburn. 3. What and when is your next appointment? I had my fetal echocardiogram today and all looked well. Such a relief! Anatomy scan is next week. 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? I don’t know why it’s so hard for me to share the news, but I realllllly need to tell my coworkers this week. There’s really no hiding this belly anymore!

1. How far are you now? 34+4 2. Symptom check: the nausea and vomiting is back with a vengeance and everything I eat makes me gaggy...so much fun. I am tired and have random aches and pains too. 3. What and when is your next appointment? OB appt tomorrow, NST on Thursday 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? Not really...I am just feeling kind of blah lately. Rama, I understand the nerves. birch113, I told a select few people at work about my pregnancy knowing that it would spread. I didn't post anything to social media until Mid-December just because I knew I couldn't hide it anymore from people who didn't actually know.

birch113 Tomorrow is our last class, actually. It's just general nerves because despite knowing all the things, who knows how it's gonna go down, yanno? woodenshoes I'm sorry the nausea has come back. At least we're in the home stretch?

1. How far are you now? 24 weeks, 1 day2. Symptom check: Moody, hungry, tired. 3. What and when is your next appointment? Monthly check up in March, and potentially sooner, a perinatologist4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? So we had our follow up ultrasound to check on Tiny Human's kidneys. They are still dilated, like 1mm above where their cutoff is. My OB said the office protocol is to send you to an MFM/perinatologist to have them look at it, then keep monitoring the situation. She was very reassuring that this is super common and rarely does anything other than go away, but I'm not thrilled. On the other hand, he was very cooperative today in letting them get pictures - except he kept putting his arms and hands up over his face. Obviously he inherited his mother's distaste for cameras. He's measuring right on schedule and everything else looks just fine. He is still lying transverse, hip to hip, so I'm hoping he decides to move. Rama, I think no matter how many boxes you check, uncertainty still makes things difficult. birch113, I'm so glad to hear the echo was normal! woodenshoes, I sympathize with the nausea. It was horrible for me in the beginning. Acupuncture helped some, but I basically lived off crackers, Altoids and ginger ale. Placing something frozen between my wrists helped occasionally.

I'm sorry you didn't get the reassurance you were hoping for mela99. But you and baby are in good hands with a MFM, so if it is anything other than what they expect, you'll already be in the right place. <3 Here's hoping it's all unnecessary hoopla, though.

Hi, Rama, I am so excited to join the PAIFers! 1. 10/17/2018 (based on O date from charting, but also LMP, because I actually O'd on CD14 for I think the first time in my life!) 2. How many, if you know, beans you have cooking? oh gosh. Assuming one. 3. Boy or girl (if you know) or team green if you're not finding out? Unknown. We'll be finding out...and telling no one! 4. What treatment got you your BFP? 4th natural cycle TTC. Finding a new husband who was not an as*hole and who had better SA results. Also, I suspect that my improved health (lower stress after end of 1st marriage, much improved diet and exercise over the last month) may have made a difference.

Rama, According to my sister (who was a nurse on L&D for years), the moms who accepted that they only had so much control over the process usually had a better experience. Birth is a hard experience to mentally prepare for because sometimes it goes exactly as planned and sometimes it's completely different. birch113, I hope telling your co workers went (is going?) smoothly. My principal asked if he could announce at our staff meeting today and it was nerve wracking. Yay for a good echo! woodenshoes, I'm sorry nausea came back. Hope it's gone soon. mela99, I don't remember what exactly the issue was anymore but my son had an issue with his kidney at his anatomy scan but it was completely cleared up and fine by the time he was born. I hope it goes away soon. sunshiney, Yay! Congrats! 1. How far are you now? 17+6 2. Symptom check: Not much of anything right now. 3. What and when is your next appointment? Cervical check on Friday. Anatomy scan in two weeks! 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? I found out I have marginal placenta previa at my last appointment. I'm hoping it moves up and isn't placenta accreta as I have way too many risk factors for an accreta.
