This is TMI but Oh my god you guys, so much poop. Little man decided to finish his poop while I was changing him. It took two diapers and I had to wash my arm almost to my shoulder.
I am having a relaxed morning besides the poop incident. MH took care of breakfast and G is already at school. I think a shower and some light cleaning will happen in a little while.
This afternoon I have the baby’s well visit. I can’t wait to find out how much he weighs now.

We are on our way to DD2s hip ultrasound and appointment with the orthopedist. I think I mentioned before that DD1 had hip dysplasia and while they think it was because she was breech, it can also be genetic so they want to check DD2 to be sure. Hopefully she cooperates.

It’s our first morning solo— DH went back to work today. So far DS spit up everywhere so I bathed him, I’ve also showered & both kids are fed. Currently eating my own breakfast and it’s only 9:15 so I’d say that’s a good start! We will see how the rest of the day goes lol.

Our morning was kind of a mess. Thankfully my mom came to take DD2 and 3 to school. DD1 has to be ready for the bus by 8, DD2 and 3 have to leave for school by 8:45. DD4 woke up and wanted to nurse at 7:30. There was no way I was going to be presentable. DH is usually doing all his paperwork and charting between 5-7am and then leaves for work at 7:15. So he’s no help.

I know mornings will get better as DD4 gets older, and DD3, because she still needs lots of supervision. But man, right now is tough.

My house gets cleaned tomorrow so I need to get it all picked up from the birthday party yesterday. And I have a mountain of laundry to do. Oy. Here’s hoping I get a lot of non held naps out of DD4 today.

I had a rough day yesterday and H wouldn’t sleep last night. So the two of us are spending the morning in bed with him sleeping on my chest while I watch by on the iPad.

I went all the way to the dr for H’s weight check just for them to kindly remind me that the apt is actually tomorrow 🤦🏼‍♀️ It’s a good thing I only live 2 min from the office.

So now I took H to target instead. Currently nursing her in the dressing room

Also I think H caught dd1’s cold she keeps coughing and sneezing. She’s not congested at all so hopefully it stays mild like this

present...and still pregnant (39.6) I had 3 nights (thurs, Fri & Sat) of pretty strong contractions that were 7-8 minutes apart for little more than an hour then they just stopped. Last night I had nothing. WTF, so illogical. My next appt is Wed with an NST, at that point we will talk about induction.

Today I am taking baby J for our first solo outing while H stays home with DD. His nostrils are itsy bitsy so we are going to the pediatric ENT. Its unclear whether he is having trouble breathing but he definitely sounds congested and makes some weird noises while nursing and sleeping and basically all the time.

Hi!!!

I am still in shock at the Eagles first Superbowl win. AHHHHHHHHH. I was way too wired to sleep so I'm feeling it.

First day of mat leave today! E and I have been to the grocery store already and I was able to get a bit of schoolwork done. Lunch soon, then getting her down for a nap so I can do dishes, shower, and maybe more schoolwork.

It was so nice to not have to go anywhere. So far E has been really good and not a nightmare like I worried.

She stole the bowl of cashews and ran away with them. So glad she likes them! She still really avoids peanut butter but cashew and pistachio are totally fine. (Last year she tested positive to an allergy for all 3 but her most recent allergy blood work and food challenge showed all 3 were outgrown).

Happy Monday everyone! Today is my first day working from home and it feels great. I had another NST this morning and baby boy passed and all looks good. I am 38+1 but due to swelling and since I was 3-4 cm at my last check last week, I am really hoping he will make his appearance soon! But I know as a FTM I am likely to go late so I am trying to keep that in mind and not get my hopes up too much.

I straightened G’s room, dusted it and cleaned the floors. I then put some stuff away in my room and did the floors there.

We may have an outside baby by this time tomorrow! We will at least be on our way. I have to call tonight to confirm when we start at the hospital but they said 7:45am last week!

Hello! It is dumping snow here. It is DH's last day off from work. The rest of this week the older two will be in daycare while I am home alone with DD3 and then this weekend I will be solo with all three.

We need to go to the grocery store. DD3's birth certificate also had my name misspelled, so I have to go get the damn change form notarized. I am irrationally pissed about it.

H insisted we stay up to finish the game last night and then I couldn’t fall back asleep after taking my meds at 4:30. So I’m exhausted. Add to it that DS peed the bed, he fell off his bunk bed ladder and he had a two hour delay and I was really exhausted before I even got to work.

Days like this make me wish I could have caffeine.

I'm trying to be productive today, but not sure how much it will work.

After out 6:30 feeding we went back to bed and slept until 10:00. I just finished eating because feeding F takes a minimum of 45 minutes and this feeding needed some extra soothing, but she is currently napping in the PNP. My parents are coming up to visit on Thursday night so I'm washing sheets and towels left over from the in-laws visit when she was born. I'm also just trying to do a general clean up before the house gets too out of control. I know mom will help me this weekend, but I would rather just enjoy the time with them and let them play with Faith instead of doing housework. I figure if I do a little each day it won't be too bad...

We are switching cable companies today. It is always such a pain but I couldn't ignore our outrageous bill anymore. Our new combined bill (cable, internet, home phone [required for work] plus 4 cable boxes) will be a little less than what we were paying for cable alone. We will be saving about $75 a month so the hassle will be worth it in the end.

I’m working from home today and doing some cleaning in between answering emails. I was planning on being on maternity leave by now, so I really have nothing to do. My house is scheduled to be cleaned on Thursday and with today being my due date (yay!) I want my house to be ready in case we leave suddenly for the hospital. Luckily, my mom said she would clean up for me if that happens, but I thought I’d take advantage of the time today. And maybe even bring on some contractions? 🤞🏻

welcome to the week and a half of my life before I went into labor 😑 my sympathies are with you. It was brutal having night after night of those contractions and NOTHING HAPPENING

Today is has been a good day. I dropped M at school, went to the grocery store, got pancakes, came home to get pancakes and watch this is us, then nurses L. He’s sleeping and I am pumping. I think my supply is finally back up. Phew.

Now I got to bust my butt to get the kitchen cleaned and do the laundry. H forgot to put M in a diaper at nighttime! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Good afternoon!

H had to take off super early to a meeting in a city a couple hours away today. My big kids were extra kind to me and both slept past 8, and baby just snuggled and ate with me until they got up! So it was a good start to the day.
Then my dad brought lunch over since he was out and about! So then that kept the big guys busy for a bit too.
H is planning on bringing supper home from his meeting so I don’t have to worry about any big meals today whoop!
The windchills have been in the -30s like 90% of the time since N was born so we haven’t been out for a lot of play time which is my newborn go-to (the other two were born in June/July). But we’re figuring stuff out. I might even try to pack them all up this afternoon to drive to the post office. Thank goodness DS has preschool and hockey twice a week each lol, it’s been keeping him busy and sometimes DD1 will sometimes jump in with the boys to go play at the rink while he’s at practice.

DD1 LOVES football. Both of my big kids seem to but she’s always gotten a huge kick out of it. We put the game on yesterday just to see what was going on and she ran up to it and started cheering for our local pro team “Go Riders Go!!” and yelling “throw it throw it!” 😂 She’s 2.5. H left N with her and told her to teach her some football so she sat there and visited with her and said “you have to say GO RIDERS!” The two big kids loved the halftime show and DS was still talking about JT this morning “He has so many cool moves Mom!” Hahaha.
