I really need to buy a couch. I’ve never bought a couch before and I’m not looking forward to it. I need someone to come buy a couch and decorate my house. Thanks.

How do you all get your toddlers to brush their teeth. It is a fight every damn time. Plus, she has level upped the fighting by occasionally throwing up. I remember it being hard with my first but not like this. DD2 will turn three next week. The Elmo toothbrushing song worked well for a while. There were times I would have to pin him down to do it. It sucked. Daniel Tiger has a good episode about tooth brushing too. That helped.

Seemed long, but I think it was short. I tried making it fun, letting him brush my teeth, distraction. It all worked for like a day and then back to fighting it. I had to sit with him in my lap and lean him back while I had my other arm across his chest. ::shudder::

It helped a little, but there was definitely a struggle for a while.

My in-laws came to visit this weekend. MH took them to his work to show them the office. MIL announced that I don't care for Tom Brady ... in front of the giant mural of Tom Brady in the office. I'm assuming it is frowned on to dislike one of their largest endorsements. So that was nice.

Ugh. Poor guy. The antibiotics will probably having him feeling better pretty quickly at least. I know. It’s always better than the random unknown virus. At least I know what it is and I can treat it quickly

I've never seen a Daniel Tiger video. I'll have to look that one up. I was at my breaking point last night. I told her she needs to start opening her mouth or I am going to cancel her birthday party. Yes, it is an idle threat but this shit gets old.

AF showed up a full damn week early, in the MOTN & raging, & with cramps that feel similar to what I remember labor feeling like.
I'm not sure WTAF I did to piss my body off, but I'm determined to stick to my diet & exercise plan this week.
I WILL eat the salad I brought for lunch, & not the cheeseburger my body thinks it needs. I will, damnit.

chickenonsunday, I bought those chewable tablets that turn your plaque purple and B liked seeing colorful spit and trying to get his teeth clean. Would that appeal to your DD?

St. Lucia! With all the crappy weather in Chicago and ONE flight a day out of Miami, I really didn’t think we’d make it. We are currently on the plane waiting to take off! I’m so excited! I'm so excited for you! I love St. Lucia.

I remember it being hard with my first but not like this. DD2 will turn three next week. Will she do it herself? That was an incentive for DS, if I let him do it himself first and then cleaned them myself after he was done. We did this exact thing and now she wants to brush every time we go in the bathroom or after every time she eats.

I want to thank who ever told me to put the medicine in a nipple and give it to my 6 month old that way. She has another ear infection (#2 in a month) and I tried that and it went down easy peasy.
I think she has more teeth coming in because she is chewing like crazy, drooling buckets, and has a diaper rash. Same symptoms she had right before her first 2 popped through at the same time.

I have my interview this morning. HR finally sent “instructions” yesterday, which basically just said to come in the employee entrance in the back.
I’m nervous and really feeling conflicted. Unless they super wow me and I hit it off great with the director, it is unlikely that I would accept the position.
At least I feel cute.

@spiff , how is your ear? I've been mobile lately and never think to check my notifications so I missed your tag. I have my triple forward helix pierced and love it. It still get sore from time to time even though it's been pierced for a year. Saline salt solution spray with the allergy meds or wound wash, was a great way to clean the piercing. it's actually feeling pretty good right now... sometimes gets a little sore but for the most part it's not bothering me, surprisingly. It does suck because I can't sleep on that side, but I'm managing! It hurt like hell to get it but luckily I haven't had the headaches like I was afraid I would, and I barely notice it unless it's touched

I took the dogs on a walk this morning and my groin is pissed about it. It’s like everything is loose already and I have the pregnant waddle, but barely any belly. It’s a little ridiculous. As is the ice pack I am currently holding between my legs.

My husband is dinking around in the kitchen, but surprisingly came out with a good breakfast sandwhich. So now I'm enjoying that with some coffee.

chickenonsunday, my 3yo pretends to be an animal while I pretend to be an animal dentist. It works for her. We also have one of those timer toothbrushes that start with a green light and end with a red one.

This sounds awful but it actually made it a lot easier since her mouth was open...

My toddler’s fever has disappeared — good. She is refusing to nap and generally being difficult — not good. Nap, child!

The two moms of twins I am close with both told me that their twin pregnancies were way more painful than their singleton pregnancies. One of them had twins first and one of them had twins for her 3rd and 4th. They’ve both assured me I am not being dramatic, but I still feel a little dramatic waddling at 14w. 😂
