I sneezed in the kitchen and Chase started yelling "bless you" from the family room. This kid only started saying Mommy a month ago, it's so crazy.

As much as I like and use Daniel Tiger, I find that if we watch it when we're not having a problem, we develop a problem. Josie really internalizes it, and it doesn't always work out as intended for our little sensitive soul.

Thank you cagoldi and kim22 that was what my gut said but mh always thinks we should go. He’s not even here and has an opinion! Has he had the flu shot? It seems like those with the shot don’t have it as bad, but I wanted M tested. His school wants it reported, as well. I just got a email today that said 6 kids in his class, including M, has been out with the flu this week. If you don’t want to take him in, give him Tylenol for the fever and see if he perks up. If he doesn’t perk up with the Tylenol, I would think about taking him in.

I’m living vicariously through you. tgrimes Gorgeous! nam2013 I’m sorry about A’s teacher. kim22 My SIL took leave as soon as she found out she had breast cancer and started chemo. Germs are definitely a concern when you are immunocompromised.

jewels can you call your ped and ask? Ours said to call right away if j got symptoms when N got it. They were offering tamiflu though. Also our symptoms sound like yours - I almost sent both kids to school with it since it was pretty mild.

lahdeedah has a good point - we needed to tell daycare that Colin was diagnosed so other parents can keep a close eye on their kids. Though in his case, there was already at least one confirmed case in his class this week!

Not 100% but intermittent playing then whining/cuddling. I’m glad M is doing better!

flamingo how'd the hair turn out? Hope it's great! It’s good! I was really pleased with the highlights—I’m always afraid of being taken too blonde—I think she got it right. I loved the salon, too. I just got home from the wives’ function...there were 6 of us (and one left fairly early bc she has a new-ish baby) but it was nice to just chat and meet everyone. We are hoping to do something once a month.

I feel like such garbage.
Also my and I were trying to plan something low-key for DH's 40th next weekend but his cousin already has plans, his best friend's lives hundreds of miles away, and another local-ish friend is just really indecisive. This... Is going nowhere fast.

nam2013 is the teacher planning to work during treatments? I don't know if that's possible or not with kids and germs. No she isn’t teaching during treatment. He’ll have a different teacher, starting March till the end of the year.
