guster I’m the only one who eats peanut butter regularly in our house. The struggle is real. We go through so many jars each week-- it's insanity! Unless I'm alone with the kids and they want it, I almost always find a way for MH to open them. We do too. That and ketchup. I should really do an amazon subscription.

Morning! I’ve been in a cleaning and organizing fury this week! It feels so good to be organized.
Tomorrow my parents are coming to stay the weekend with S while MH and I go to Arkansas to take care of some things at his side business. We usually just take S with us but there are some things that need done that would be hard to do with her there. So since my mom finally retired she volunteered to come watch her. This will only be the 2nd time we’ve been away from her overnight. We will be gone for 3 nights. I’m looking forward to all the sleeping in!! Plus this will be good practice for all parties involved to prepare for the 2 weeks we will be gone on our trip to Fiji in October!

I just bought A the perfect Valentines gift. I wasn't even going to get him anything but I found it and I can't wait until Father's Day lol. But now I need a frame for it and it's an off size.. 12" x 36" Any ideas where I could get one without spending a fortune? I would like to mat it but if I can't that is okay. TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Marshalls or Michael's. ETA: I just realized it's off size. Michael's would still work though!

Morning! Colin had another early morning accident - that's 3 days in a row and I'm so sick of the smell of pee. He doesn't want to go back to pullups but I'm not sure how much more I can take. I slapped my thigh this morning with his wet pjs. Ick.
Other than that, AF showed up today and it was sort a surprise. Really it's right on time, but I didn't get any of my usual physical tells. My skin usually breaks out in the days leading up to it and the scale jumps a couple pounds. Instead I just got suddenly irritated for no reason a couple days ago. It was so sudden that I was laughing at how ridiculous it seemed. All makes perfect sense now.
Also between snow days, holidays and random appointments, this is my first full week in the office in ages. It feels looooong.

guster, I've typed a reply twice now and both times it got eaten. Hopefully third time's a charm. Yes, he has a peanut allergy. Thankfully it's not too severe and he only gets hives, so I don't need to worry about food when we are out and making sure things are made in a peanut free facility and all that stuff. He's also allergic to chick peas and lentils, both have proven to be a nuisance. We eat a ton of hummus, and chick pea flour is actually in a lot of the baby/toddler premade snacks. Lentils are in a lot of pouches and we eat a lot of those, so I just have to be careful. But overall we are lucky that his allergies are mild and not life threatening. I can't imagine how difficult that would be to navigate and how terrifying. Also, related to yesterday's conversation, I believe that a lot of his skin issues relate back to his diet and when his skin is bad I try to better monitor what he's eating and not give him anything that might irritate him.

I’m excited! We thought about it for a while. But it’s super expensive. So we decided if we could save half the money over last summer, we would do it. Plus once our friends committed we decided it was an opportunity we didn’t want to miss. We figured that we are about to the years of doing more kid centered vacations so this was our chance to have a child free vacation while S won’t realize what she’s missing 😉. We’ve got half of it paid for! So as soon as I’m back to work in March we will get the rest paid for! It will be 2 weeks so I’m sad about leaving S for that long. And nervous that she’ll have medical issues while I’m gone. But also super excited to have some relaxing adult time without having to constantly worry about someone else’s needs!

You and your H deserve it and will have a great time, and I'm sure S will enjoy being spoiled rotten while you're gone.

jewels, I'm glad his allergies aren't too severe, though that would be really frustrating. Whenever I'm making the kids lunches or something I always think about how stressful it'd be to be the parent of a kid with a severe food allergy and having to just trust that other parents aren't sending peanut and such to school.

I just realized that while we're in New Orleans, my ILs are going to have to cart Colin to skating and swimming. That's kind of a lot to ask, Saturday mornings are nuts in our house. Whoops.

Hi all. I haven’t been posting as much the last couple days because I feel like my boss is monitoring us more closely. It could all be in my head but I’m just trying to use my phone instead of the computer at work, which slows me down. Boo. joelies, af showed up unexpectedly for me too today. After my last cycle of 47 days, this one was 30 so I was surprised. I’ll probably be going back on the pill now anyway so they will go back to regular. I have nothing to do at work and just want to be screwing around online. Boss is cramping my style. Ha.

Whew. Picked bedding for L's room and found it a lot cheaper on a random site (Century 21?), it sold out right after I bought it so I must have gotten the last one. Hopefully I don't get an e-mail soon saying it sold out before I ordered!

HI!
We had an awful night and I'm so tired. M was a little congested and he kept squirming and moving which woke me up all night. I need things to slow down and for us all to be healthy and life to be back to boring. M's filling fell out this weekend, so he went to the dentist this morning to get it fixed. He now has to be on antibiotics for some reason. I hope we don't start the poop issues again. I'll be pumping him full of probiotics for the next several days.
I think I'm going to make an appointment to do IV fusion therapy once we get back from traveling this weekend. I feel like fluids full of vitamins may help me feel normal again.

Tmi alert***
Since Disney and not eating well there I've had butt pain. I thought it was internal hemmorhoids and was using hydrocortisone suppositories and baths. It would get a bit better but then worse again. Today I've been in extreme pain and left work and found a Dr that could squeeze me in. Turns out I have an anal fissure (a tear basically) and inserting suppositories has been making it worse. I'm now at the pharmacy waiting on a compound ointment and they told me it would take two days. After I literally broke down in tears and started calling the other pharmacies that carry this, they magically found some already made. Now I'm sitting here with my mascara stained face waiting.
I had a fissure once before in 2007 and it was the worst months of my life. I ended up needing surgery and recovery was excruciating. I was so depressed and it was not good for my marriage. I'm scared.
The Dr is hopeful meds will help and if not the next step is Botox. Yes Botox in my ass! Another surgery would increase my risk for incontinence. I just can't even right now with 2018 between the fake broken shoulder I was making worse by wearing a sling and now my ass, I'm just so done with my body. It just works against me every chance it gets.
Sorry for the downer and TMI.
PDQ. May poof

Morning...well almost afternoon everyone.
Thanks for the well wishes for B yesterday, his fever broke last night so although he is feeling better and the fever is gone he is at home with my Mom for the day. I'm getting a play by play of the day at home with the calls to help my Mom work the TV and gasp, the DVD player. Dear lawd...

I'm so sorry wedding, that is a lot to deal with especially when you thought that you were making things better and in actuality it's been worse. How frustrating for you. I hope the meds work wonders and you dont have to go down that path that you had to years ago. Hugs friend.
