Had our ultrasound this morning. Baby is measuring completely normal for a 6w1d baby with a wonderful heart rate of 126. The discrepancy makes me a little nervous (I should have been 7 weeks exactly today), but I am trying to focus on the fact that everything is normal, and the heartbeat is right where it should be. Discrepancies happen. It's okay. We have a baby with a little beating heart, and that's what matters. I won't go in again until the end of the month for my first formal appointments. New EDD is 1/29. Praying that things go smoothly and baby continues to grow. With my first, before the ultrasound--my due date was May 7th. After the 7 week ultrasound it changed to the 17th and from EVERY check up on was the 17th. My daughter was born on the 19th. Thank you. This really helps ease some of the anxiety. How far along are you? 6 weeks How big is baby? A sweet pea How are you feeling (physically and/or emotionally)? Physically I'm okay, which is making me worry. I had heartburn and some nausea last week, but not much of anything this week. Any appointments/milestones this week? I had my progesterone drawn yesterday and it came back borderline. I'm already on progesterone supplements. I'm also in the process of switching doctors because I hated my old doctor's nurse. Old doctor wants me to up my progesterone and new doctor says it won't do anything and progesterone supplements are pointless. So i'm confused and not sure what to do. I also had my HCG redrawn this afternoon and will get the results tomorrow morning. QOTW: What's your favorite holiday, and how do you celebrate it? My favorite holiday is 4th of July! I love the warm summer weather and the yummy cookouts. Fireworks are my absolute favorite! While I'm not a doctor, I wholeheartedly disagree with progesterone supplementation being pointless. If I were in your shoes, I'd be pushing for it - at least through the first trimester. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

He just won't push it on me. So I think I'm going to take it just to ease my mind.

I am 9 weeks today Baby is the size of a green olive Physically I am feeling ok. I am still nauseous most of the time but its almost to a point where I can deal with it. I am also still exhausted but I am managing it. I am still on pelvic rest and my dr doesn't want my uterus contracting at all so no sex or orgasms. I am so ready for that to be over. Emotionally I am ok. The spotting has stopped so I am much less nervous than I was. No appointments this week. I have an appointment July 6th and I have to call today to make my appointment for my 12w scan and to see the MFM. My favorite holiday is Halloween! I love to see all of the costumes and happy little kids.

How far along are you? 9w 6d How big is baby? strawberry tomorrow! How are you feeling (physically and/or emotionally)? Constipation is horrible. I started Miralax last night. Can I take that and a stool softener at the same time?? I still take my Zofran in the morning (trying to go without this morning). Emotionally I cry over the littlest of things. My son got his leg cast off Monday and seeing him walk without it brought on the tears. Any appointments/milestones this week? This week would have been the loss milestone for my loss so I personally feel in the clear once I hit 10 weeks although I know I got some time left. QOTW: What's your favorite holiday, and how do you celebrate it? That's tough. Each has their own special qualities. Maybe Thanksgiving. jessijean, I take both. I'm taking 2 stool softeners daily and miralax as needed which has been twice this week already.

How far along? 5w6d How big is baby? Sesame seed I think... How are you feeling? Physically no real changes, tired but not exhausted but sometimes having trouble sleeping. Emotionally I stay pretty worried due to prior losses and I don't think I'll feel comfortable until we have a baby in our arms on the way home. No appointments this week, but we have an ultrasound on Tuesday to check for a heartbeat. QOTW: Favorite holiday is Christmas and my favorite unofficial holiday is the start of the NHL season.

So, I had my early ultrasound today--and there was a yolk sac, but measuring 5 weeks 4 days, not 7 weeks 1 day as I originally thought. I do think I ovulated late this month, but I will still be worrying until my next appointment. Even though--this happened with my daughter as well.
I am holding onto the fact that I have had pregnancy symptoms--yesterday I was SO nauseous. Tons of heartburn. And exhaustion.

Early scans can be wonderful but so nerve wracking I have mine tomorrow.

So i went to FF and checked--it showed ovulation late for me--the 8th of May. Which makes more sense.
But now i am a nervous wreck.

My office actually stopped doing scans before 8 weeks (unless there's bleeding) because there were so many initial ultrasounds like yours that ended up being successful pregnancies but the moms to be had a rough week of stress. I'd pull from your last positive experience with your daughter. Hopefully your follow up is soon! Wishing you the best bc the limbo is awful.

fancynewbeesly I was measuring 6 days behind at my ultrasound. My dr assumed I ovulated later but didn't change my due date. I am sure FF is right and you just ovulated late and it will be ok.
