I think the blue Erdem dress would have looked a lot better if it were longer. The length it was on her I think is hard to look great on anyone. Even a few inches shorter (like the dress arriving in Norway) looks totally different.

I love that blue dress so much more than the Erdem one. She looks so great during the day on this trip.

I learned the hard way when pregnant that even if I could still fit in non maternity clothes the cut was wrong and they didn’t look right and cute.

I'm loving all these pictures. Thanks for sharing. I do have a question. So are they not allowed to take their kids with them? How long are they gone for? I would like the break for a few days but would want to be with my kids again. Just curious the Mom aspect and how it is probably rough on her.

I would imagine with a travel schedule like this, it would be tough to take small kids on a trip with so many engagements and hopping from country to country. Much easier to not uproot them just to end up with nannies most of the trip anyways. Plus, Sweden is close enough that if there is some kind of emergency with one of the kids, they could just jet back to England in a couple of hours.

Ok I've joined the really don't like that hat club Its very stereotypical Russian-y looking. I don't hate it, but it does make her little head look giant.

Generally it depends on the length of the tour and how far away it is. This one is only 4 days, I think. When they go on week or longer tours the kids generally go too. This might change now because both George and Charlotte attend school now. They waited to leave on their tour after they both got home from school to say goodbye.

I own a very similar hat in black, my MIL gave it to me. I actually love wearing it skiing, but It’s definitely too much for most occasions.

Wills' bowtie is making me twitch.
I think I like the evening gown.
I think a chignon looks great on her and it's particularly suitable when she's at work.

@lamp - the bowtie is so bad!!
This is HUGE improvement on her evening wear. I would never wear it but I love it on her.

Ok I'll disagree - this dress is doing weird things to her books IMO.

I like this the best out of the evening dresses so far. But that's not saying much.

I’m getting a Princess Margaret vibe from Kate in this evening dress.
I’m going to ignore the bad bra situation that she has going on.

Not loving the peachy evening dress.
I like the fur hat. It's practical but fashionable. NMS but most European things aren't.

I feel like I don't like the sleeves. I think if it were sleeveless, it would a lot less tent-like.
I am so surprised at my sleeve feels lately.

She pulls that colour off well though. My gosh, I would look like a worn out dishrag in that colour.

I don't think it's her bra showing through. I think it's a strapless (or very, very thin strapped) dress with an overlay cape thing.
So what you're seeing, I think, is the top of the dress.
I could be completely wrong, but I have a dressy top kind of like that, although the overlay part is lacier and not as see-through.

Her boobs still look like they could use some more support.

All I can think about is how tired she must be. All I did today was clean out my fridge and my hips are protesting.
