This weekend was h's birthday so we were busy with that. We also had w's first gymnastics class and it was really fun to watch him.

I tired.
Dull headache. I’m weaning off my migraine prevention meds. I’m hoping that it’s my body adjusting. I took a lower dose per the dr instructions.

Helllllo. School is back in full swing now. My first psych clinical is on Saturday. I’m frustrated with how disorganized my program seems to be sometimes though... clinicals were supposed to start this past weekend but apparently our instructor just disappeared?
Anyway. H is napping now, E is playing with a little people house. I’m waiting for DH to get off in 15 mins and bring me some food! I couldn’t sleep at all last night and I’m a bit cranky and hungry today.

S1 was invited to a birthday party on the 19th. The 19th is a Monday. Presidents’ Day and he doesn’t have school. The problem is the party is in the middle of Ethan’s nap and H does not have the day off. So now I’m not sure what to do.
Not only that but i am hosting an event for moms club AT THE SAME place from 10-12. I was given the date but I saw it was mid feb and just assumed it was a Saturday or Sunday because who has birthday parties during the week?

In fact, when I called this place to see if they were open on the 19th (it’s an indoor jump house and normally closed mondays ) they told me that they were open but that we’d have to leave by 12 because they needed to get ready for a private party and I remember thinking “who has a party during the week”

She said I could drop Isaac off so I may do that except that doesn’t solve the problem of the event I said I’d host.

Sorry. So many posts.
This is a kid from preschool that we still see from time to time. And Isaac was the only preschool friend that got invented and that the birthday boy wanted. All other attendees are from kindergarten. So i really want Isaac to go.

Buses got cancelled due to blizzard. Soooo you're just keeping my kid then? lol What a long day!! Here in TX, we just go ahead and cancel everything for a week if there’s a chance of freezing temps and precipitation - not that that ever happens. I hope the rest of your day is easier!

This is a terrible picture bc she won’t be still. But H has a circular bald spot on the back/side of her head. It’s very dry. E had cradle cap but this seems much more dry and there’s also no hair growing there at all. It seems to have fallen out fairly recently as I’ve never noticed it before yesterday. Any ideas? She has some mild eczema but idk how that would look on a scalp. She has a 15m checkup next week and I’ll ask about it then.

I'm feeling good about how much we have unpacked. Once M goes to bed I think I am going to start to refinished a table that I want to use in the dinette. We have most of the important stuff unpacked. Now I need to find some good office furniture, and then think about other decor placements. Most of the curtains I ordered won't work, as I don't think they are long enough. I ordered new ones from wayfair. I've never ordered from them before, so I'm hoping they are good.

Also our dishwasher seems to be faulty, so now we have to wait for someone to come fix it. I'm not happy about that, and that we discovered the problem when it leaked all over the kitchen, and now some water damage to the kick plates. First world problems.

amberlie I can't get over how dark her hair is! Also nothing to offer as far as advice or thoughts on it. M still has cradle cap. His ped was totally meh about it. Hopefully your dr will have some insight about it tomorrow.

redandblue I know! It looks really dark compared to E’s. Her complexion is also darker and she has brown eyes vs E’s blue eyes. I’m still surprised at how very different they are, both in looks and personality. Anyways, yes E had cradle cap until she was about 10m and then it came back around 16m. It seems to clear up completely in the summer but we’ve had trouble with it still, especially during colder months. H never really had it, unless this one spot is cradle cap.

When we moved this past summer, all of the curtains we’d bought about a month before were like 3 feet too short. For whatever reason, every single window in our apartment is 6” tall (my phone tried to make that y’all and I should’ve left it). I don’t really like choosing curtains online because it’s hard to tell how much light they filter in but I couldn’t find any long enough in stores that I actually liked.

Eek!! That's very exciting easternshoregirl !!! I can't believe it's almost baby time for you! How are you feeling otherwise? Eh, it has been tough. I got prescribed Zofran the first week in January...which has helped somewhat. I've also been sick since November with colds, since E was in a temporary day care center instead of his normal home care provider situation. We're all finally over the colds but I pulled some rib muscles coughing about a week ago so I'm in rough shape. I know the first couple of weeks/months having a newborn are really damn hard but I'm really looking forward to not being pregnant soon. Reflux has been killer, looks like a full head of hair on the baby in the ultrasounds too! Going to school at this point sucks, I haven't worked a full week since I don't know when. TLDR: I'm very glad this is my last pregnancy. BUT....very much looking forward to meeting her and turning into a family of 4! I think we settled on a name and E is as ready as he'll ever be.
